  1. Wasn't there a rumor way back when Dimensions was still a thing saying Vortech would be part of the final wave but got cancelled? The availability for the last TLM2 wave was atrocious. I would've really liked to get the Sparkle Babies and Systar Party Crew sets but the only one I ever saw on store shelves was the Wyld-Mayhem Fighter, the rest were all bought up by those damned scalpers Hidden Side is lucky to have their (possibly) last wave as a proper release.
  2. There are rumors, suggestions and assumptions but as of this moment we don't know exactly what Camp Cretaceous is in-universe. We'll have to find out when the show releases Sept 18th
  3. We'll definetely get that version of Hagrid eventually but I doubt LEGO will put him in the CMF and I don't want them too either. I don't think they'll ever reuse the YB figure and they can't keep reusing the 'normal' one (technically they can ofc) so they'll have to do it eventually
  4. It looks great to me. It's in line with every other show Dreamworks has done so if you were expecting more in terms of animation quality that's on you The CC truck would make for a great LEGO set:
  5. Depends on how well the series does but as @sebastian666 already shared there are plans for multiple seasons
  6. If you don't want to count the Golden Master you can't really count the Legacy one, it's more based on his Golden Master appearance than anything else
  7. Don't think so but it wouldn't be the first time LEGO does something that doesn't make sense. But regardless I'd say either July 31st or August 1st are likely to get at least something, at least a teaser
  8. We got the Overlord way back in 2013 (set 70505 - Temple of Light) and again in 2014 (set 70728 - Battle for Ninjago City). The 2013 figure was him possessing Garmadon's body and 2014 was the Golden Master version from Rebooted. The Legacy version is a mix of possessed Garmadon and Golden Master, the main Overlord form we have yet to see is his dragon form.
  9. I think both July 31st and August 1st would be good dates to reveal DA if they want to pick an important in-universe date. But out of those 2 August 1st would definetely make more sense
  10. I'm not saying 18+ sets can't be small, I said the only themes to have received 18+ sets are the ones that sell really well. DC has existed for many years so LEGO won't just give us an 18+ set to see how well it does (like the NES for Super Mario) because they already know how this theme performs. And that's an argument one can use to explain why LEGO is unlikely to produce 18+ sets for DC. But we'll see
  11. Diagon Alley doesn't have to be 18+ at all. The 18+ sets target an older audience than the usual set, things most children likely wouldn't be interested in. I recon DA will be similar to the normal Potter sets but at a bigger scale due to it's price, a 16+ age recommendation would fit perfectly and it's also the recommendation the Hogwarts D2C and both Ninjago City sets got. An 18+ set also doesn't have to be gigantic, some of them just happen to be big. But besides those we also have things like the Star Wars helmets and the upcoming Bespin Duel set.
  12. They're probably only explicitly male because many still believe all dinosaurs in Jurassic World are female like they were (supposed to be) in Jurassic Park. And just in case it isn't clear this doesn't relate to LEGO in any way shape or form, I just shared it because this is the Jurassic thread
  13. Some news regarding the upcoming Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous animated series on Netflix: - The release of CC has been moved back, instead of August it'll now release in September - The first season will consist of 8 episodes, likely around 22 minutes each similar to most other animated shows - It's 100% canon - A male Stegosaurus, male Dimorphodon, Ceratosaurus and many other dinosaurs will appear
  14. I guess that could work but look at it this way: - The only themes to have received 18+ sets are the really big ones - DC's sales are average, not particularly great or bad - A lot of budget would go into molds for figures like The Batman Who Laughs, which would result in cut corners in other parts of the build - The main audience for Super Hero sets are still kids, otherwise we wouldn't have an army of Batvehicles as massive as the one we have It's possible but realistically I don't see it happening
  15. It's definetely a really cool set but is it $40 worth of coolness? Definetely not
  16. They do that a lot on the store calenders. Just pick a few empty days and use it to advertise the VIP system
  17. The Batman Who Laughs is impossible to make without a new mold so that already rules out SDCC. And why would LEGO put a nightmarish version of Batman in a set, that's gonna be difficult to market for kids. A CMF is definetely the only way we'd ever get him
  18. You do know Harry Potter never has or had a big presence at SDCC right? Announcing Diagon Alley there would've been a weird decision, regardless of wether it's online or irl
  19. Then you haven't been following him long, he does it quite often (and is more than free to do so as it's his account).
  20. Eternals has only been pushed back 3 months, I highly doubt that's a big enough delay for LEGO to do a complete overhaul of their releaseschedule for those sets. But we'll see.
  21. I tried that out but there's surprisingly little usefull stuff in the 2018 version of the Gyrosphere station. It's mostly just the plants and foliage and the little nest, other than that the pieces from that set are pretty much useless in regards to upgrading the new station.
  22. Yeah I wouldn't count on it. I think we're just getting The Eternals sets (probably in october as originally planned) and then a january wave.
  23. Even if they get bought by another company it'll take time to get everything sorted out, LEGO SW:TSS should already be out a while before then
  24. A figure of The Creeper without any new molds would be really disappointing after having seen the brilliant design from LEGO DC Supervillains
