  1. I already have both installed. And I take a look at Mecabricks earlier as well. I only know Stud.io because someone mentioned it to me. I guess I will try Stud.io first. Thanks for all of your help, imvanya!
  2. Imvanya, does LDD has built-in sets already in it? I already installed it but it seems there is no database for existing sets in it. It would make everything easier of there is set 76057 template already in there. So I can just start building the ramp to connect to the bridge.
  3. Oh for road marking! Yeah I need it. So I guess I will include plates. Did you use some sort of bricks software? Is it Stud.io 2 from Bricklink (I never used it though). But I can download and learn it if it can make the parts calculation easier since I don't have enough parts to make mock ramp. Thank you for the explanation! It is very easy to understand.
  4. Thank you imvanya! I have more questions though. For the first picture, what is the purpose of the strips (plate) in the middle? Why don't we use all bricks instead? What is the purpose of the second picture? I don't get it. Is it some sort of bracing that you mentioned? The transition from ramp to baseplate is indeed tricky. Maybe I need to use the combination of slopes with hinges.
  5. Hi there. Thank you for the link. That is pretty useful. I just have no experience how to build a SNOT road. Well, I never done any MOC. And in the weblink that you shared, the builder, unfortunately, does not provide instruction. Hopefully someone here can provide some information how to build a SNOT road. But will it be far more costly than OPTION 2?
  6. the armored vehicles are almost as big as the church
  7. Hi everyone. I hope this is the correct place for asking questions about building ramp. Hopefully someone can assist me. I have set 76057 and I want to connect the bridge to my straight roadplate 7280 using ramp. I think I have 3 options to do that though, which is: OPTION 1 Use 42942. I need to use two of this side by side and then extend it way down from the top. So, for one side of the bridge, I might need 4 or more of this parts. For both sides, I have to double it. OPTION 2 Use 30477px1. I only need to use this for one side of the bridge. I even have to elevate the bridge up if I use this. So in total I only need 2 to cover both sides of the bridge. OPTION 3 Using SNOT Technique and build it myself. OPTION 1 and OPTION 2 have a shortcoming. The ramp width do not match with the bridge (the width for vehicles to pass on the bridge is 10 studs, while total width of the bridge with the wall is 14 studs). OPTION 1 is the worst option I think. OPTION 2 is simple, but the cost of the ramp is expensive. OPTION 3 might be challenging but it will give the most aesthetically pleasing result. Unfortunately I never done any MOC building. So I do not know where and how to start to calculate the parts that I required. I want to compare the prices for OPTION 2 and OPTION 3 and get the cheaper option to spend. Any advice, guys? Or maybe another idea? Thanks!!
  8. The Lego Certified Store in Indonesia are recently selling 40261, 40262, 40263 for about Euro 7.6/set (USD 8.6/set). They are trying to get rid tons of them to make way for new small sets I think. I bought a couple from each set before it run out. If you are in Europe or US, you can always bricklink them.
  9. Thnaks for the info, guys. So it seems certain city has special sets related to the location of the store. Oh, I thought all Lego Stores (Not Certified) will have Lego passport and the stamps. So it does not seems so. Well, doesn't that defeat the purpose of getting the passport filled with stamps from Lego Stores all over the world? I already have the Lester minifigs through bricklink though. It is quite costly in term of shipping cost. That is why I am getting friends or relatives overseas to visit their nearby Lego Stores. Currently, I have my nephew in San Jose, California. I am wondering whether there is Legoland nearby or Lego stores that sell any special items there. Any advice of what to get? Oh, I asked him to visit target to get the Target exclusive but he could not find it. :(
  10. Sorry I am still new to Lego. Could someone kindly explain it to me what CMF is? I keep reading a lot of this word
  11. Is it? I thought we can get it anywhere in Lego Stores
  12. No, not the set 5004932. I owned that. What I mean is Lego Passport that you can have it stamped in Lego Stores. I do not know whether it is only exclusive in Europe and not available in US. Please look it here: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/search.page?q=lego passport#T=A and scroll to the bottom on "Other" section
  13. Thank you for your reply, umm....advice. Is that your nick? lol. Well that is a good idea to visit event bricks. But unfortunately I am asking people that are not AFOL to go to Lego shop for me. So I am not sure whether they are willing to visit any brick events. I just found out that there is no Lego Store in Australia, only franchised (certified) from fellow AFOL. Does anybody know whether there are any Lego Passport in the United States?
  14. Well, you can place several of the minifigs outside guarding the main gate. Maybe a few of it in the battlement or rampart (but I think the minifigs scale larger than the battlement/rampart. But again, the set 375 is also not really scale good enough (in term of castle with minifigs)
  15. Indonesia
  16. Nice design. Where did you get those tiles for the banners on the back? Are they from Ninjago sets or custom prints? But, did they use cannons at the battle of Nagashino? I am not much into Sengoku Jidai history though. From what I know muskets are widely used
  17. I also have a good time reading it. It is a nice castle to look at. I can even play with it. I Just need to populate it with minifigs
  18. Lol, I thought my son is the only want that like to do that. On top of that, he will place minifigs on the track or on the train roof to see what will happen, lol
  19. Hi there, I just want to know whether there are special Lego bricks/minifigs/accessories/sets that are specific to countries or the stores themselves. In case I am going to travel overseas or asking travelling friends/relatives to get me something from there. I know that Legoland have some special products that can only be bought there. But how about the Lego Stores? In my country, we only have Lego Certified Stores and there is no specialty at all. Only standard sets/minifigs/accessories that are also sold around the world. I just dont want my relatives/friends buy a set that I can get it locally. So I better prepare some pointers to them on what to get. Hopefully someone can help me in answering this and enlighten me. Thank you!
  20. Well, the Return of the Korean Spams. They are taking over the forum now!! lol!!
  21. The forum is swamped by those Korean spams which seems to be for horse betting. Can the staff cleaned em up?
  22. uh-oh.....should I open up all my stockpile of Lego thatt I bought from online marketplace and resellers?
  23. I don't mind with any of those as long as I have another food bar or food truck for my city, lol
  24. Thanks for the info. There is no Lego Online shop in my country. Only Lego Certified Store
  25. Nicely done! I even can recall that we can pick lock on house with the fences.
