  1. Those images aren't leaked images but models that were used for the film being displayed at the LEGO House
  2. Exactly, there are certain qualities you can check to see if figures there will be made into a set. With the disco Benny he's got the face and helmet as the normal TLM2 sets and a new mold for his glasses so he will likely come in a set where as the Fabuland figures are exactly the same as the ones from the 80's with scuff marks and all so it's unlikely they'll be in a set (at least not looking exactly like they do there)
  3. I know but what I'm saying is I'm not sure LEGO'd willing to try that without something like Benny to draw kids in
  4. They probably wouldn't be ready to take that risk yet, by easing in with something Kids know and care about (Just remember back to just after TLM came out, kids were crazy about Benny and the CS aesthetic) is much more reasonable way LEGO would give us a Sci-fi LEGO space theme with a premise other than "Humans good, aliens bad, blow them up"
  5. Exactly, they should strike while the iron's hot!
  6. Either 70848 or 70849 has to be that Crystal Spaceship we've seen Benny flying
  7. The only reason is because they didn't play cats in the cradle during the Meowthra scene I meant monetarily I think the point was that they didn't save the day by just beating the bad guys but by using empathy to understand their side and ending the tension peacefully, apart from the burnt Generals none of the Antagonists at the start of the movie are still villainous by the end
  8. No problem, you should also check out this https://vimeo.com/jollylads as the video Garmadon TV has some similar but different cut scenes from the movie (And a weird cartoon with Vitruvius drowning wizards with clams) Good luck on your project, I look forward to seeing the final product.
  9. There were rumours a while back that it'd be on hold until The LEGO Movie 2 results came in so assuming there's an equally positive Monetary reaction to the critical one we should probably Expected to have a bit of reworking and be out sometime in the next Decade
  10. It could be but there's also a chance that what he meant was just that they were working on the script then. Who says it'll just be an original cast, for all we know it would be in a similar vein to the main LEGO movies where they make the leads original characters and have famous LEGO and Pop-culture characters appearing as cameos and supporting cast. Well back before 2008, outside of the Hulk none of the phase one or two heros they ADAPTED were popular characters, no-one but a select few comic fans cared about Captain America, it was the fact that (almost) every film they made consistently good in the eyes of the public that made people care about them. By comparison the LEGO franchise has a many more well established characters right of the bat. Also There are MANY things you can say about WB but if there's one thing they have it's their persistence, how many DCEU films did they make 'till they got the formula right, I doubt they'll give up on LEGO that easily That's a snazzy poster Given the picture states their for the next three years I'd expect there's probably some reworking going on but it'll probably be out before the second half of the 2020's.
  11. Why may I ask, Just because their both original IPs? The problem with TLNM is the team needed more time to develop it but the production was rushed to tie-in with the sets not just the fact the Minifigures were Yellow.
  12. So assuming the Monetary response to TLM2 is as positive as the critical one We should be expecting The Billion Brick Race and TLBM2 to be entering active development soon
  13. I don't have no idea but I definitely don't envy their parents
  14. The LEGO Ninjago Movie's messy history behind the camera isn't exactly a well kept secret. There were many ideas for the film that got pretty far Originally, at one point it was going to be a time travel movie where Lloyd goes back in time to fight Stop the great devourer from biting Garmadon at another it'd be about them taking on bounty hunters and the Vermilion but the version that interests me was the final revision the film that happened just before the film we know came into fruition So I was browsing Youtube today when a video called "Rocktagon" appeared in my recommended section and from the thumbnail it looked like a clip low quality from The LEGO Ninjago Movie but I recently caught the film on Sky Movies so it was fresh in my mind and didn't remember any that could be described as "Rocktagon" so I clicked on it and found a weird music video including almost exclusively unused clips from the film, the entire channel is just the same sorta thing, music videos with unused clips (and one of the extras from the Blu-ray) showing off some great hints to the version of the film that was apparently rewritten 3 months before it's release. The most notable being Lloyd having a entire action sequence cut and Cole, showing him quite often each time giving something new. It shows off his mech using the shoulder speakers it had in the sets, a ctip of the Quake mech with a brick built wheel, a rather dynamic shot of him piloting the mech, a clip of him fist bumping the quake mech implying it has sentience (Welp, that just made the Meowthra scene more horrifying) and most interestingly a shot of him in front of bars getting increasingly angrier as blue lights flicker on and off in the background. () Now this sounds great and all but there's just one just one problem, it's been recorded of a screen on to a phone with a dog barking in the background, Drat. Though at first this just looks like a few deleted scenes it's really, just a few deleted scenes. But in all seriousness this sorta confuses me as with all this unused animation TLNM reused animation left right and center and heck Cole just disappears during Garmadons second invasion. Maybe it's just me but I always find this stuff really interesting, what could have been with the slightest change, maybe if they stuck to their guns this film would have done better and we'd all be eagerly anticipating The LEGO Nexo Knights movie next fall. 15. Gender The thing is we've seen no such outcry online, if you mention TLJ online no matter your opinion you'll have tons of people replying telling you how you're the antichrist where as with TLBM the general reaction online is just "Yeah, it was pretty good" Though I wouldn't say TLNM BOMBED per say (Budget being $70 million and making 123.1 Million) I'd definitely say it under performed. I feel the reason TLNM did poorly is because of the marketing, the little there was put most emphasis on the NINJAGO part of the title (and one look at twitter would show you that because of the changes most Ninjago fans weren't interested) making most people think it was just something for that TV show they'd heard about once or twice.
  16. Then again TLBM and TLM had tons of sets that barely appeared in the movie (Civilian/Villain vehicles) so it wouldn't be TOO much of a stretch to get a few CS sets especially given how Benny's Space Squad sold.
  17. Though I'd prefer the CS spacecrafts I feel the Disco ship would be more likely
  18. Well I don't wanna flex TOO hard but yours truly, the classic red Spaceguy, was in TLM for like 5 seconds so I'm practically a shoe in for The Doctors next regeneration Is that a yolk, If not I'll have to give that Cracking Set a try, it sounds EGGSELENT
  19. Agreed they're definitely some of the best sets LEGO's ever made, they somehow managed to get a general audience to wanna buy a set based on Egghead, FREAKING EGGHEAD! I'm not a big fan of the idea metallic spacepeeps but now that I think about it that color would make a great one
  20. Imagine if they pull a TLBM on us and all the other sets are just "That one vehicle you see this background character drive for three seconds"
  21. I'd hate them just based on the sorta person you'd have to be to wear gold, so Snobby and Pretentious, NO-ONE'S IMPRESSED YOU WERE BORN ON VOGA DENNY! You're a witch
