    I have high hopes for the recreation of a Black Knights castle to follow up the soon-to-be-disappeared LKC. The Sea Serpent remake, likely coming out next year, would make a perfect GWP! Black Knights are the only classic faction that hasn't been remade yet, despite a redefined crest in the set's instruction booklet (the only one of all that has not yet had a reboot by the way). For Pirates we definitely need a new version of an imperial ship or a remake of the Skull's Eye Schooner. Or the comeback of the islanders ? But it may be too niche. About Space, I would take it all ; as long as it's done well, focused on play features and without stickers !

    "Upscaled" ? Does it mean that it would not be in the same style as the red and white classic spacemen from the 10497 Galaxy Explorer ?

    It will be cheaper soon in the distributors. I can already see some selling it for 65€ here in France. And it's true, too much licenced and display stuff. It's less and less the LEGO I knew and loved : original, playable and creative. I'm only buying the classic lego inspired themes. This year I got 2x 10355, 1x 21358 and 1x 21343 (and wolfpack beastmaster from cmf of january). I will get multiple 31167 and 31168 with good deals in good time and it will be "all" for me in 2025.

    Almost the same selection for me, but I put 10320 Eldorado Fortress instead of the Blacktron Cruiser. It has stickers and it is forgettable with the Renegade around in my opinion. And if I had to consider a GWP in this vote I would have take 40567 Forest Hideout. Also I went full classic era revival themes because it is what I love the most and what I would like to see more in the future, so I excluded licenced themes otherwise I would have chosen 10316 Rivendell and 21348 D&D : Red Dragon's Tale.

    Maybe my point of view is marginal, but I love the minifigures AND the machine itself. I spent thousands of francs and hundreds of euros on these machines during the second half of the 90s and early 2000s, particularly to acquire DBZ figurines. Beyond nostalgia, I'm eager to see if the mechanism works well and if it delivers the same satisfaction as the real machines. Otherwise, I'd be happy to order more Castle figurines from PAB.

    Can you explain me the omerta on the set 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine ? I see people talking about the figs here and there in the thematic forums but there is nothing on the set itself. Also, you can't find absolutely no review on internet, video or pictures / writings. For a set that will be released in less than 48 hours I find it strange ! Must be unprecedented.

    The only way I see them doing the sea serpent gwp with full prints and fabric veil is if they release a remake of Black Knights Castle at the same time because that would reduce the cost significantly. Otherwise, it will be a disappointment that does things halfway like the Majisto Magical Workshop gwp. As I mentioned earlier, the Black Knights are the only ones missing from the recent reboot of the factions that made up Castle's golden age. Their emblem has been digitally remade and appears in the instruction booklet and / or in a panel of the box for set 10305. I don't know if this was meant to be a sign of their future return already since its release in 2022, but the upcoming retirement of this set at the end of the year is a great opportunity for LEGO to release a big Black Knights set in 2026-2027. I sincerely hope they will not deceive us. Also, I suspect that the winner of this contest was already selected in advance and this may be a pretext to make the Sea Serpent the GWP that will accompany a future Black Knights Castle. This vote also allowed them to probe the interest of AFOLs for old themes. Perhaps this is just a fabrication on my part, but I can easily imagine that this could happen.

    I'm quite shocked that no one's talking about the 21358 Minifigure Vending Machine set except on the themed forums for discussing the figures. But nothing about the machine itself. Also, the set was announced last week and comes out this sunday. Since then, there have been absolutely no reviews anywhere online. Three days before release, that's unprecedented, isn't it?

    Could you believe that the Balrog booknook has not been announced yet ? So there is still no official review, as well as the Vending Machine that has been officially revealed one week ago. Both sets should however be available June the first. It's strange.

    I don't share your enthusiasm for the BDP program at all. It's a half-hearted solution for Castle fans. Above all, we need original sets and new themes with full ranges of sets.

    I took this opportunity to finally buy two copies of the Blacktron Renegade . I'm not a fan of the GWP, so I'm thinking of selling it to reduce the cost of my order.

    Hello, good idead, but you missed multiple references like : - the wizard, fairytale princess and the jester from the 12th serie; - the king from the 13th serie I would vote for them. Also, some inclusions are up to debate. Why include the female centaur and not the Hun Warrior for example ?

    I'm torn. On one hand, the Granite Grinder Mech, which is original, well-made, and can be faithfully reproduced. A lot of nostalgia for the Rock Raiders line. On the other hand, the Sea Serpent, which is well-made and also evokes a lot of nostalgia and would be an opportunity to pressure LEGO to reboot the Black Knights. However, what guarantee is there of having updated prints and not stickers? Also, the sail would be better made of fabric and not bricks... I'm afraid of being disappointed. If stickers include I would prefer it not be released.

    I find the main model of the new Creator 3 in 1 set a bit busy, it makes a less good impression on me than its predecessor set 31120 concerning the overview. However, having skipped the latter (I was perfectly satisfied with 10305), I will take two copies of the 31168 because I find that it offers a very interesting pack of basic parts (especially with these metapieces) to create my own medieval models, and especially the new figurines are successful. Too bad there are no masonry pieces like in the 31120 set however. I will also take the set 31167 Haunted Mansion because the main model is very successful (but overall too expensive) and of course for the ghost which reminds me of my childhood with the Castle sets of the 90s. I'll finish by saying that I'm pleased with the addition of these two sets to the Creator 3 in 1 line. It makes me appreciate it even more because, at a time when large, expensive licensed display models dominate store shelves, this one maintains the LEGO spirit: creativity and friendliness of all ages.
