I think $120 would be perfect for the Ship but I just would be so upset if we didn’t get a big Battle of Hogwarts set with the DH wave

I don’t think there’s room for a Durmstrang Ship this year after all. For August, I would speculate that the $250 set is Gringotts/DA expansion (whatever that might entail). And I would hope the $120 set is a Battle of Hogwarts set

Even if these sets are only meant to connect to each other and not the rest of previous expansions, there’s no reason why we wouldn’t be able make it work. That’s ultimately the point of lego after all. Get creative, modify it, and it’ll look great with the existing sets

I think the SS Griphook in the AC is interesting. Maybe there’s a Gringotts coming in the fall but it’s based on DH so Griphook comes in the AC to be able to recreate that scene as well

If I’m not happy with the style, I’m sure I’ll be able to modify them to go better with the modern style

Really excited for these, and it’s Lego so it’s all compatible. All of it, you can mix and match anything. So rebooting the modular Hogwarts isn’t such a bad thing

At the rate they’re going, they’ll still probably tackle it at some point. Hopefully they’ll fill in some notable gaps during the all but guaranteed DH sets during the next couple years and then there won’t be much left undone. A couple years after that and we could feasibly have everything we want from this theme, especially assuming another CMF is released during that time span

It use to be Juniors, it’s the same thing, just a subtheme with a simpler build dedicated to younger builders

I won’t say anything else about it. But do yourself a favor and don’t go to the Star Wars or Harry Potter threads. They are much stricter on these things it seems than this particular thread is.

There are actually rules to this forum. Getting off topic and wishlisting are against the rules. The last few pages have been PACKED with wishlisting and it’s annoying when we come here thinking there’s news and it’s just more wishlists and extremely unrealistic expectations. I’m not a mod so I’m not going to tell you what to do, but it would be very helpful to me and other users if you continued these wishlists and theories in a private message or something rather than filling up the thread with it.

There is nothing confirmed right now except for set numbers and prices. Keep in mind that even those are from leakers, and as reliable as they may be, should be taken with at least a small grain of salt until confirmed by Lego themselves. Such is the game of Lego leaks

I can easily see this being a double microfighter set. I don’t see them doing this in a normal scale anytime soon, and if they did, I would MUCH rather it include a molded Boga

The HP advent calendar is currently 70% off at Target, I just picked up two more for the heck of it. At that price, why not?

Cody in that set would have been absolutely perfect. I can’t imagine how well it would have sold, even at $80 They remade the Wheel Bike and the Grievous Starfighter. One more Utapau set would be perfect. A remake of Boga and throw in a couple Crab Droids and some great minifigs including Cody and there you go

The most iconic appearance of the Gunship is Attack of the Clones. Marketing it as anything but an AOTC set just doesn’t make much sense to me. P1 Clones make far more sense than P2, regardless of how much more people may want P2. There will be other opportunities

I enjoyed the D2C for what it was. The Tex and the Gate are not meant to be to scale with anything so the fact that they aren’t doesn’t bother me. They look good on display. The minifigs are spectacular. I don’t really see the problem. I feel like the main reason it didn’t sell very well was because everyone set themselves up for disappointment by convincing themselves it was going to be the Visitors Center from the original park. And then when it wasn’t, they wanted nothing to do with it. I really don’t think it’s a bad set at all

I think an all-inclusive Gringotts set makes the most sense. Include all the most iconic Gringotts scenes in one set, I think that can reasonably be done in a $250 set. Probably with room for some side builds/smaller shop or two I’m bummed MandR didn’t get to make his HP rumor video. I don’t watch the channel but his info has definitely been good the past few years, so I was looking forward to that information

Great news, I can’t wait for tomorrow. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this year’s four sets were CC based. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they just aren’t really based on anything. I still hold out hope for Legacy sets
