Beskar Mando looks amazing

There have actually been several figures that remained exclusive to books, mainly in the Star Wars theme, so it wouldn’t be completely unprecedented that Riddle just stays exclusive to the Magical treasury book

I’m even more curious now about the summer wave than I was before. For one thing, I really want to know if this is the new torso design moving forward (I really hope not), and I also just really want to know what else they’ve come up with after seeing such marvelous designs in these four small book sets. I’ll definitely be getting at least two of each of these btw. I feel the need to display them both open as classrooms and closed as books

If these torsos are specifically designed as a throwback to the previous version of the theme just in these sets as a one and done thing then that’s fine, I really like the idea in fact. But if this will be the design going forward then that will be really frustrating since we’ve all collected the 2018-2020 version for each House, which is far more accurate anyway

I don’t like that they went back to the old style of uniforms...what’s that about. But other than that, I love these so much. Snape has updated printing too which is nice. But seriously, what’s with the inaccurate House sweaters?

Yeah no way he’s not like 17. Again, nothing personal, the guy is trying to make a living, I wish I could make a living off Lego content. But that doesn’t mean I like his content or approve of his behavior sometimes. I’ll never forget how cruel he was to Brickshow after they lost their channel

This post is absurd to be honest. Nothing personal against the guy or his channel but most AFOLs don’t watch his content, myself included, he definitely has a younger audience. Doesn’t really appeal to most of us. We don’t care what he says and we certainly don’t form opinions on sets based on his comments on them. Really, no one cares. Kids might care. The rest of us don’t. A lot of us read the Aftermath trilogy and heard Cobb was coming to the show as a rumor and absolutely never thought for a second that Cobb was irrelevant or the “worst Star Wars character”. Again, those must be the kids. Personally, I love the AAT set and don’t expect every Lego vehicle to have perfectly accurate dimensions. The figures are of course the main draw of the set though, to argue that is simply ridiculous. And I really think you completely overestimate the amount of people here who like those YouTube channels for 12 year olds

Is this the first time we’re hearing about more Mando sets in 2021? Last I heard, this was the only one that has been mentioned. If so, thanks for giving us that info, I know I’ll be much happier with this set knowing it’s not the only one we’ll get next year

I think best case scenario for minifigs in the Gunship is two P1 clone pilots with new helmet molds. But most likely with the existing mold. I could see four more regular Shinies being included to fill the four bubble canons. But that’s at the absolute best case scenario. Anything more is unrealistic. It will be from AOTC most likely so would not include any of the CW commanders that people are hoping for. Maybe some Jedi but I find that unlikely. Either way, any gigs are a bonus, I really just want a majestic display piece

The 2014 ISD was very nice, I still have mine displayed and it pairs very well with the First Order SD of the same scale

I have the Crest and the Child so I have two Child minifigures already so literally the only draw to this set for me is Beskar Mando. Another figure would have been really nice

Wow lackluster minifigs for our only Mando season 2 set. Not even Cobb. This set is basically just a reason to give us Beskar Mando

My tastes are spread pretty evenly between the originals and the prequels. I love them both pretty equally. It’s really frustrating when people like ONLY the originals or ONLY the prequels. Like come on, there is so much to love in both. I really want a UCS Gunship (figures or no figures) and hopefully the Nebulon B and TIE Bomber will eventually happen as well because I’d love to get those too (again, figures or no figures). If the whiny “prequel only” kids refuse to buy the Gunship because of ridiculous minifig expectations and ruin the chances of getting more prequel UCS sets, I will not be happy. Granted people also complained about Cloud City, which was honestly the perfect Cloud City set. So whiny “originals only” fans aren’t off the hook.

I voted for the Gunship because it’s my favorite ship in the franchise and it would be spectacular in UCS scale. The system scale is already very close to minifig scale so I want a scaled up massively detailed version, regardless of any minifigures or lack thereof

I listed mine but took it down after deciding I actually wanted to keep it. I don’t get Brickheadz but this one was just too cool for me not to keep. I only have that one and the Mando and Child one. Don’t really feel the need to get any others. Looking back, improbably would have gotten Boba but I just didn’t, doesn’t bother me too much though.

I just wish we could get an OOTP Lucius. Someday perhaps

Yeah that was a very odd choice in the movie since it was pretty clear in the book that wasn’t the case. Still, as far as Lego goes, I would just be happy with any Durmstrang variant at this point

I know I’m in the minority, but I just don’t really have any interest in Ninjago. I’ve never gotten a single set from that theme. Granted I think the parts usage and minifigs as well as the overall designs are very cool and if I got a few I would probably be hooked, which is why I probably shouldn’t try. I’m pretty much just into the licensed stuff. Although if Lord Of The Rings is ever brought back, I might even give up Harry Potter
