The user in question was unaware of the possible repercussions until after they made their initial post, not to mention they aren’t really a “leaker” as far as I’m aware, they just had information this one time (if that part is less than true, they can feel free to correct me). It’s naturally annoying when some people have information we desperately want and can’t give it to us, but that doesn’t mean we don’t still have to deal with it. People with the information have a different set of rules they need to follow if they want to keep their sources and possibly not face severe consequences in some cases. This doesn’t mean it can’t still be fun to discuss what information we do have, the vast majority of which we wouldn’t have year after year if not for these same people. Imagine having nothing at all to go on. There’s no fun in that discussion, speculation with no substance dies out very quickly. Anyway, I like the way you put it

I think some people are just butthurt that they don’t have inside info and others do and want to point the finger to make themselves feel better about it. I don’t have inside info, but I realize how this works, and I know getting the info out there is not that simple. You can think it is all you want, but it isn’t. Try a little patience, we’re in the vast majority of people here that don’t have inside sources, let’s just speculate and stay patient, we always get the information eventually. Since when has immediate gratification ever served anyone in the long run?

Really like the look of this set, it’s got a great figure lineup which is always a huge draw for me. The dragon is really nice looking too, just seeing this image made me a lot more hyped for this film (not that I wasn’t already). This and Eternals are going to be really good, I can feel it

These builds are a massive step backwards, but obviously that’s the point. These are Anniversary sets trying to appeal to nostalgia. They are designed to look like the older outdated sets and I think that’s fine, as long as it doesn’t continue into the rest of the theme. Definitely have to wait to see the final product before a real verdict on these though

I gotta say I’m not really that bothered by the random stupid vehicles either. For me, it has a classic sort of appeal that just reminds me of old school lego vehicles and they’re kind of fun. Useless of course, but I typically enjoy them well enough. I absolutely understand why people can’t stand them though. High building standard and all that. But I really only buy super heroes sets for the minifigures. But I still buy the sets rather than BL the figures (for the most part) because I think the builds are fun, even if I end up scrapping them for parts later on

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want this to become Star Wars either, but I also don’t want it to end until they’ve really finished doing anything that would be worth doing. I could see it ending reasonably in a handful of years down the road but one year from now makes no sense. The theme is at its peak. Not going anywhere. Also, a large D2C style version of a previous system scale set does not count as a remake, it’s a completely different scale, completely different purpose. But it’s all still only speculation That’s my point, that’s an iconic scene that they hadn’t touched on yet, and there are many many more like it, some great for big sets, some great for small sets. But still a ton of material

I have no problem with rare and exclusive figures being released in other sets but nobody here is looking down on anyone else or calling anyone “below them”. Nobody.

I honestly think it’s fine to include a previously exclusive figure in a cheaper set. I would have bought the figure on BL for way less than $400 if that’s the only reason I was buying the set. Doesn’t matter to me if figures don’t stay exclusive.

I definitely hope Lockhart is the version from the actual Chamber. But a Dueling Club version would be pretty awesome as well
