I agree it doesn’t seem like they’ll go back to the old style. But I would have loved several more sets to round out the films in that style. Bell Towers, Long Gallery, Owlery, Boathouse, Courtyard, the Bridge, rest of the Quad, etc. there’s so much more they could have done to make a much more complete Hogwarts. And these are all still very recognizable parts of the castle with plenty of minifig and scene recreation opportunities. I don’t understand when people say there’s not much more they could have done in that style. Like, have you seen the movies?

Yeah, I no longer trust Bessa with this theme. ??? Dropping the 2018-2020 style killed this theme in my opinion

I don’t even know what to say to this. What a mind-boggling opinion It wasn’t wide enough but as far as I’m concerned that was the only really nitpick I had with it. This one is an ugly block with a clock. Talk about disproportionate. Zero accuracy. None. It looks disgusting. And doesn’t resemble anything to do with Hogwarts. I just can’t fathom your view on this…

Believe me, I know not to take speculation and run with it as confirmation, that’s not what happened. I even double checked and didn’t see anything saying it was speculation. Obviously I missed something. Just a simple mistake is all, a misunderstanding

Exactly. It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if they made maybe three different sets, one for each beast, and included different aspects of the scene with each set. But if we only ever get one arena set, it needs to be very big and include the whole scene

Not a chance. That would be a terrible set missing almost every aspect of the scene. It would HAVE to be no cheaper than $200. All three beasts. Jedi, droids, viewing balcony characters, geonosians, etc. It was in his story the day the list came out. I suppose it could have been predictions on his part since I didn’t see anyone else saying that. But I checked at the time and I didn’t see him saying anywhere that they were only predictions

Childish Landino has listed a few of the summer sets as AotC specifically on his IG. That’s where my comments come from. I’m fairly certain he didn’t say anything about that being a guess on his part so I took it as a strong rumor (I don’t consider anything as definitely confirmed until Lego themselves confirm it). I’m not referring to an AT-TE anywhere, although it would make sense for that to be in the wave since the UCS Gunship made it more relevant again. I certainly find it more likely than a system scale Gunship being released alongside the UCS

MBS Jabba’s Palace will never happen

As awesome as MBS Endor would be, I just can’t rest until we have a MBS Arena set. 2022 would be the perfect time since we’re getting all this other AotC stuff. Also I’ll be upset if we finally get a Jango Slave I and it’s the crappy garbage scaled down version like this year’s. I would love it if they made one to scale with the 20th Anniversary version

As great as the P1 Rex and Cody would have been, clearly that’s never what it was so we can’t say lego screwed us just because some info was mistaken. I don’t love the inclusion of the Commander as it cheapens the one in the Gunship. I also don’t need a crap ton of Commanders. But I love me some Shinies. Definitely wish it was just three Shinies. Either way, I’ll get a few of these. The Hoth one is nice too, I’ll probably get a couple

Maybe with the X-Wing pilot helmet? stormtroopers as well I think EDIT: yes, the advent calendar with General Merrick and the Sandspeeder were both on shelves at the same time as the X-Wing with the new helmets. Also, the Imperial Landing Craft and Betrayal At Cloud City were still on shelves when the 20th Anniversary sets introduced the new Stromtrooper helmets

An actual middle finger to fans would be releasing figures like these as Comic Con exclusives or something. But releasing two extremely desirable figures in a $15 set? Nothing to complain about
