  1. @ArrowBricks I’ll just say this in response to what you were saying in addition to what I said before. I hear you. Phase II versions of these characters, particularly Cody since he has never been made in Phase II before, have been more vocally requested than Phase I versions. And I may not have said it on the forum but I’ve actually been hoping for a long time that they remake the Phase I versions of these two before they make Phase II. So I don’t think it’s correct to say nobody wanted or asked for this. I also genuinely believe they will make Phase II versions soon enough. They know the demand. Phase II are more likely to appear in sets since they need a new helmet mold. I do think it will happen. And this way we’ll get remakes of both. I’ve seen people argue on here that this means they won’t make P2 versions and I just don’t see that as true at all. It’s bound to happen. I’m sorry you’re so upset about the P1 versions in the figure pack but I really think it’s a good sign of things to come. I don’t see it as a middle finger to fans, I see it as “look we hear you, here’s a taste, a token of good will”
  2. I did say the figures measured up to previous years, I have no complaints about the figures in 2021. They were amazing as always. It’s the builds I had an issue with. They’re completely inaccurate and ugly, and the building style is almost 4+ level
  3. 2021 quality was pretty rough. Figures definitely measured up to previous years. But it was a terrible decision to move away from the 2018-2020 castle style. The new style is just terrible. Looks awful. Huge downgrade. 2021 made me very worried about the future of this theme. Add that to the fact that they are clearly avoiding Deathly Hallows sets and there’s definitely plenty of reason to worry. This was the perfect theme from 2018-2020. They threw that away for whatever 2021 was.
  4. I definitely disagree with your assessment and I don’t think you speak for the majority of lego Star Wars fans with your opinion. Phase I Rex and Cody are just as desirable as Phase II to many people, myself included. They are very much due for an update. If you genuinely think that wanting updated versions of these figures after all this time is following lego blindly then I really think you might be the one that doesn’t have a clue. New and much better prints for the armor, legs, face, and helmets? Hell yeah! Sounds amazing, I genuinely can’t think how a fan of lego and Star Wars wouldn’t jump at the chance for that. Be patient. If this rumor is true then that proves that they are listening and they know how desirable these characters are. And to give them to us in such a cheap way? Yes please. They know people want Phase II. We’ll probably get Phase II versions before long. Phase II was always more likely than Phase I. This just means it’s more likely that we get both in the near future
  5. I would be extremely happy with Phase I Cody and Rex. I’m sure Phase II will happen soon enough but I’m also sure even with Phase I people will throw their fits. Hopefully the helmet prints are more realistic in style and not animated looking
  6. If Marcos Bessa genuinely doesn’t want to make DH sets, then I no longer trust him with this theme, end of story
  7. You’re forgetting the king of them all: Howard Shore
  8. Really excited for this. I hope they don’t waste minifigs slots on characters that appear later in the series like Nelly or Clark and Pete. I would even consider Erin extremely non-essential. It might be too much to hope for Robert California though… but maybe Jan and David Wallace?
  9. Sounds like a neat little set, as a HP theme completionist I’ll have to make sure I get one
  10. Then it’ll fit right in with the 2021 Hogwarts builds
  11. That was for the main summer wave though, I doubt that would be necessary for four sets. But I’ve been wrong before
  12. I’m sure the info will be out there pretty much right away
  13. Yeah for most licensed CMFs, I’m happy to get repeats since a lot of the parts are so useful. Got tons from HP and it’s definitely the case with this series as well
  14. Definitely getting the smaller Tumbler, but I have the 2014 D2C Tumbler and this one doesn’t add enough for me to get it so I’ll just get the two figures and call it a day. But definitely getting that smaller one!
  15. Aren’t we all. 4 hours ain’t that long my friend, it’ll be here before you know it, just watch LOTR in the meantime 😉
  16. Definitely getting weirder
  17. Yeah I need more than two but still my two Advent Calendar cards were duplicates. I still plan on getting a second one at some point so there’s still hope, plus I’ll get a few of the Hermione poly bag Heck yeah
  18. Saw the Toro set at my Walmart a few days ago. Didn’t try to buy it, but stuff is starting to show up on shelves
  19. I agree with all of this, more GoF sets would be amazing, and at least a couple DH sets (even though a full wave would obviously be preferable but seems unlikely at this point)
  20. I suppose I would buy a D2C Quidditch Pitch but I don’t find the idea very exciting. Same with the big Hogwarts Express D2C people keep saying they want. I’m sure I would buy it, but I don’t find the idea particularly interesting
  21. Obviously there are many prequel UCS sets I would love to see. But if they only made a Venator and a Geonosis Arena, between them and the Gunship I would die happy
  22. I’m definitely going to try to add all the other golden figures to that display
  23. It’s definitely unnecessary. It does look good though. Again, I just think it was timed really badly. They put this out right as there is a high demand for location based minifigure sets and now people just aren’t as excited for the theme anymore, and I think that’s the problem more than anything else.
