Agreed

I hope the consecutive success of this theme’s sets warrants two full waves next year. I genuinely think OOTP and HBP should each get a full wave of sets, because that’s where the films start to get more complex, especially with characters (although CMF series 2 would help with that, hopefully that comes next year as well).

Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Balrogofmorgoth replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
The packaging is transparent so I’ll just look for one that doesn’t have messed up printing. Are these at Lego stores already? -
So happy they’ve popped up on the site for the US. One month is a lot more bearable than two. I’m still wondering about the graveyard and carriage sets though. Is the rumor still August for those two?
-
Babymort looks great and it’s an awesome little addition to the set
-
I’m fine with a July 1st release date, it’s much better than August (as was rumored) and it makes it exactly one year since last year’s wave was released in the US so it’s cool with me. Waiting one extra month is much better than waiting two

Falconfan said on IG that the HP sets are coming out on July 1st in the US at Barnes and Noble and Target
-
@Falconfan1414 Is the July 1st release date confirmed for B&N and Target in the US?
-
There’s a fairly high chance we will get a new Bellatrix minifig next year with an OOTP wave
-
I did the same thing, but the skirt would complete it
-
You’re probably right, they’re treating this particular theme very carefully and systematically
-
I honestly just hope McGonnogall has a printed skirt piece instead of legs
-
If they’re releasing anywhere at all on June 1st, then I don’t believe for a second that Lego Customer Service doesn’t know about it, which is what they’re telling everyone. Wish they would start communicating better. It’s not like the sets are still a secret, they’ve been revealed.
-
Yes, I definitely had an emotional reaction at first. I’ve had time to accept it by now so I’m not as crazed over it, but it still is extremely irritating and I’m not happy, especially with the lack of communication like you said.

Wow @TheRandomBlocker chill TF out. Try to understand that it’s frustrating for us. No need to flip a table over someone venting their frustration. All of us here are extremely passionate about these “kid’s toys”, you included, otherwise we wouldn’t be here. Plenty of Europeans complained last year, so get over the whole “Americans just complain” nonsense you’re spouting. I respect you on this forum, I truly do, this is not me trying to shut you up, but please try to understand it’s a very frustrating situation for us because of how much we love Lego, and just let people discuss their frustration. If someone is crossing a line, the mods will step in. That hasn’t happened, so there’s no need to tell everyone what they should be feeling.
-
Hopefully on June 1st, Lego customer service will be able to start answering my questions about the US release, since at that point they’ll be released in most countries
-
It’s probably a smaller release now and then in august they’ll have a bigger production release with the US included
-
Yeah I specifically remember it being July 1st. Doesn’t matter though, any delay is annoying.
-
Wasn’t it only one month difference last year? We got them July 1st, I think it was August 1st everywhere else. Either way it’s frustrating both times. I hope they don’t keep doing this
-
It’s gonna be so hard watching these sets release without being able to get them here in the US. August, please come quickly
-
I still think I’ll put my Clocktower behind the Great Hall where it belongs. I get why they are doing it this way, they want to display the front of all the buildings in a line but I think I’d rather go for some accuracy
-
I think the same guy also designed the Apocalypseburg set. So he designed (arguably) the three best D2C sets in recent years. He needs to keep up the good work! I hope he designs a lot more of these types of sets!
-
Is the guy who designed this the same guy who designed the D2C Hogwarts Castle? Looks like the same guy. If it is, he’s one of the most talented Lego designers they have. Those are two of the most well designed sets ever made
-
I guess this is more or less confirmation that I’m gonna go crazy for the next two months
-
Well I suppose I’ll do my own ranking. Personally I’ve enjoyed reading them so here goes: 1) Clocktower - minifigures are excellent, it’s great to get Yule Ball variants of these figures, I think they made the right call there. I also love the Hogwarts builds and this is no exception. Wonderful set! 2) Expecto Patronum - I’ve been wanting an updated Sirius since forever and I’m not disappointed. Phenomenal little set, great for army building dementors, and that Stag Patronus is wonderful 3) Hagrid’s Hut - Fantastic minifigures, most of which are exclusive. I didn’t think they would include Fudge and Macnair but they both add a lot to this set. Buckbeak is amazing. I love the build, it’s great to finally get this version of the Hut 4) Rise Of Voldemort - While the build is mostly lacking in that open area, I absolutely love the Riddle grave and the figures. The generic Death Eater is fantastic and I’ve been wanting Wormtail for a long time. New versions of Harry and Voldemort are also very welcome 5) Beauxbatons Carriage - This Fleur is one of the best figures of the wave. Gabrielle is a nice addition and it’s great to get alternate versions of Maxime and Hagrid as well as new creatures. The carriage is amazing and would be such an awesome display piece. The o my reason it’s lower on the list is because the other sets are just overall more desirable to me and not because of anything lacking from this set 6) Triwizard Challenge - This set is low on the list on purpose. The Horntail is absolutely pathetic and the tent build is just plain. The Horntail is so bad I can’t really put it into words. It looks like a weird bird. Just awful. I do love the figures and the golden egg rock build. I also appreciate the addition of the modified broomstick to represent Harry’s Firebolt 7) Knight Bus - This is not a bad set, it just doesn’t really have anything that stands out enough to interest me over the other sets, including the first task set, which at least has desirable figures. A repeat of the same Harry, Ernie, and Stan just isn’t enough to be desirable. It really should have included the Grim and Aunt Marge. The bus itself is sleek and nice and certainly an improvement on the older versions but I never really cared for it all that much. I’ll buy it along with all the others but it’s definitely my least favorite
