I love the Scout Trooper helmet but I don’t have it yet. Those shooter game sets were incredibly overpriced, not worth it at all. I’ll have to get some Scout Troopers elsewhere, hopefully they make more Endor sets

I would love to avoid another Horntail fiasco. Molded is definitely better, but if it’s brick built, it has to look good. I know they have the capability to make these creatures look good when brick built, they just need to put more effort into it than they did with the Horntail.

I honestly love the new helmet, I think it looks great, same with the Stormtroopers. I don’t get the hate.

My only issue with Voldemort’s new laughing face print for the Rise Of Voldemort set is that moving forward, that’s probably the only face print they’ll use for him and while it fits his gloating jubilant style in that scene pretty well, it doesn’t really fit his more panicked and cruel demeanor from Deathly Hallows. I suppose the CMF version we got is a DH version so at least we have that but whenever we get him in a future set, he will likely always have that smile since they’ll just reuse that face print. Just not sure how I feel about that. Small thing, but just something I was thinking about. I suppose we can call it the “Darth Maul effect”. Those of you who also follow the Star Wars line know what I’m talking about.

I’d love for them to start doing a January wave and a summer/fall wave, so the wait isn’t quite so long. Even if the waves are a little smaller. I feel like we all have to wait so long for these. It would be nice if they spaced it out more so the wait isn’t so rough. Two full waves would be great, especially considering how well the theme is doing. Maybe by next year they’ll have realized this and do an OOTP wave earlier in the year, and then a HBP wave later in the year. That would be ideal.

I would hope actual releases of those two would be much better, they both look horrendous I don’t mind a brick built Fluffy, as long as it looks good (hopefully better than the book version). But the troll really needs to be molded. Mixel eyes? Really?

It’s a good set except for Grindelwald, whose head is extremely inaccurate. But that’s literally the only issue with it. The carriage is great and the Thestral is amazing. I really hope we get Thestrals in OOTP sets. I can’t imagine we wouldn’t get at least one. A new baby Thestral would also be perfect but that’s probably asking too much and unrealistic.

My Lego store is tiny and doesn’t get much traffic. If they have it, then most probably do.

I got Expecto Patronum and the Clocktower today. After seeing it both ways, I can honestly say I like Sirius much better with the lighter brown Moody hair piece. It looks more like him.

I do have to say, more Tuskens and Jawas are always welcome

I think it’s a waste of a set more or less but that poncho is pretty awesome

I actually really like Ben’s Hut. The Leia hologram is enough to make it appealing but also the exclusive Old Ben without the cloak on. That training sphere remote is nice too

We won’t get a Quidditch Cho or Cedric because it doesn’t happen in the films. It’s not gonna happen. Don’t get why people keep saying we should get them. Luna with her lion hat is a really good one though, so is Colin Creevey and other Yule Ball variants. The problem with polyjuice Crabbe and Goyle is that they would have to have short legs, being from COS. That means no leg printing for the Slytherin robes. I’d rather get POA/GOF versions.

How many variants of Luke’s Landspeeder to they need to make??? It’s getting kind of ridiculous. There’s so much they haven’t made yet. At least include a bantha! For crying out loud

The only piece I had to buy was the brown tail piece, I had all the rest in my spare parts bin. I paid about $2 for 10 of those tail pieces. I figured they might come in handy for other things too

If we do get them at all it will most likely be in sets for DH to fill in some bad guy roles in battle of Hogwarts sets. For CMF series 1 we got 22 figures but 6 were from FB. Assuming series 2 will have 16 HP figures, here’s what I would love to see: Dudley, Vernon, Petunia, Fred (POA), George (POA), Fleur (3rd task), Krum (3rd task), Karkaroff, Rita Skeeter, Draco (robes), Crabbe (robes), Goyle (robes), Tonks, Kingsley, Madam Pomfrey, Kreacher. Although realistically, they probably have to have a Harry, Ron, and Hermione in there somewhere, maybe Quidditch World Cup variants?

Sorry about all the links, I have no clue how to post pictures on here that will actually work The wing and leg articulation is much better using these ball joints rather than click joints, and luckily I had some in dark brown. I used a brown piece from Chima at the end of the tail rather than the black one that was included. I also added another segment to the tail where it meets the body and I added a second spiked section towards the end. Head spikes would have been better in dark tan but brown will have to do. Neck is longer and a lot more spiky. The body is one stud longer and covered in spikes along with a few minor changes in general to the main body. Legs are completely redone, and the feet now have three brown toes in front with one brown claw in the back. I also added some length to the wings using some bricks which are mainly there to cover the technic parts I used to attach the wings to the ball joints.

Went to B&N this morning and got Hagrid's Hut, Knight Bus, and Horntail sets. Wanna save the Clocktower for double points. Just couldn’t wait an extra day for the others, since I can’t make it to a lego store until tomorrow. Hopefully they’ll have the Clocktower and Expecto Patronum tomorrow!

So for me, the only five characters that HAVE to appear in the OOTP wave (CMF counts if we get series two) are: Kingsley, Tonks, Sirius (Ministry), Lucius, and Bellatrix. Others are welcome but those are REQUIRED. For HBP, the only minifig I’m really desperate for is Draco in his black suit.
