It was probably designed later than the other two versions, and with a bit more of a budget. A lot of nice new prints in that set, not to mention the new hat/hair mold (which does have a ponytail in the back)

For me those are secondary. I would rather have more main characters than other students. Ideally we’ll get both but my priority is on the main characters like main Death Eaters and Order Members. But I would love to get those in addition to other variants of students (house robes for the other three houses would be really nice).

What I want most out of the next couple waves are a lot more Death Eaters, Order members, and Weasleys (most of which are included in “Order members” but still)

Some of those characters could come in other sets as exclusives though, and that way Lego has the added selling point of “in order to make a proper battle you need to buy these other sets that include certain characters”.

I think they could make a medium sized Ministry break in set if they did it right. For Shell Cottage, I imagine a set up very similar to this year’s Hagrid’s Hut. For about the same price they could have a bigger build and more minifigs without the added budget of a new creature mold and a light brick.

That’s what I would recommend as well. It would look fine with dark grey BURPs too and they might be cheaper, but dark tan looks best

They could do Shell Cottage potentially. They probably won’t but they could.

Very true, I forgot about the Leaky Cauldron but that be a very nice set. It could have a neat function with the brick entrance. And you’re right about Hogsmeade station, although it may best to include it in a set that focuses on a more prominent setting since I doubt very many casual fans of either Lego or HP will buy just a Hogsmeade station set (even though most of us on here probably would).

I agree, I think I’m order to get the most out of it and still make sets that would sell well, the best option is to make Weasley’s Wizard Weazes for the HBP wave (maybe it can include Borgin and Burke), and then do Gringotts in the DH1 wave. Then maybe they could do a stand-alone Olivanders down the line after they circle back. Realistically those are the only shops Lego will give us from Daigon Alley. Maybe one or two small ones thrown in on the side. Either way, I really want the dragon from Gringotts but after the disaster that is the new Horntail, I’m not sure what to hope for

I don’t think I would buy a big brick built Niffler, but it would definitely be an interesting set and very appealing to some. Just not the style of set I prefer to collect unless I have the spare cash (not likely) I definitely hope they reuse the Thestral for an OOTP set, but I lessbit was included with a section of Hogwarts, I don’t see them making another Thestral carriage set. Durmstrang Ship is a must in my opinion. It would be phenomenal if they made it and included the second task in the same set (as unlikely as they seems). I do think the next CMF series will feature a lot of characters from GOF including variants of characters we’ve gotten. There are too many missing ones from GOF for it not to include a lot

Agreed. I actually do like it, but it doesn’t fit the style of sets I like to collect and display

What action? I’m not saying you guys are wrong but I have never actually heard of any consequences happening after leaks like this, even when everyone freaks out and says the situation is really bad

Everyone freaks out about the leaks getting out but nothing EVER happens. I’m done believing the doomsdayers to be honest. Lego is all talk with threats but really can’t or won’t do anything about it

Saw the set. It’s very disappointing, but at least it still has the figures. The builds are actually great but it’s just not what I want in a big JP set because it isn’t compatible with any of the other sets as far as scale and consistency

If the descriptions of this leak are true, it’s an easy pass for me, I’ll just BL the figures. No new Dino moulds ( no Dino moulds at all for that matter) is extremely disappointing and makes the set worthless to me. No visitor center. Nothing really that I would want. I’m sure it looks cool but not worth the money for me at all I think Hogwarts Castle and Stranger Things lived up to the hype for sure. They did for me at least. But yeah this sounds like it certainly won’t

Now what I would like to know is can Bricktober prints be reused? I’m wondering about face prints for Umbridge and Slughorn. I can’t remember if Bricktober prints have been reused before

I think they can reuse molds (it’s happened many times before, Dumbledore’s hat/hair and babymort are just two examples) but they can’t reuse prints as far as I know

I would love to get minifigs if Runcorn, Cattermole and Mafalda, with Yaxley and maybe even Pius Thicknesse. That would be simply amazing
