  1. Yeah its annoying as hell. They use 'LEGO' to address the entire collection of plastic construction toys >.>
  2. Some other items sold, some added, check this link for pics (text in dutch, ask for details).
  3. LEGO customer service is pretty good though from own experience so they should sort it out :)
  4. BL = lowest bricklink price for a set in comparable condition 7725 BL: 170e my asking price: 150e (assuming it's complete, will have to check) 7745 BL: 150e my asking price: 130e (stickers are applied but in very good condition, will have to check for completeness) 7819 BL: 70e my asking price: 60e (Chair broken as per picture here, but you can order a new one here for a few cents) 7866: On second thought I would like to keep this one too, unless you are willing to make an offer close to BL prices (it's in really good condition and so is the manual) I'm gone till friday so won't have time to check the other sets for completeness til next weekend. - Sok.
  5. You could use these to elevate the side railings a bit. Maybe even stack two and alternate colour, with a grey one on top of a black one. - Sok.
  6. DCC is probably still too expensive for LEGO / too complicated to set-up for the average person that buys LEGO trains. Personally I would like to see a return to the 12v era train style with a lot more railroad-related structures (stations, crossings, industrial buildings etc) and all the powered accessories that they had back then: remote controlled points, stops, crossings and extensive possibilities for custom lighting. They should also use more bricks in their trains, I hate large pieces more than anything. Remember the locs of 7745? They had a bloody nice number of bricks in them, not the entire huge window and wall pane sections that we have nowadays. (although recently this has changed for the better) - Sok.
  7. 8868 and 8480 are my favorite technic sets. The shuttle might look good if re-released studless, but the truck will be fugly, it was perfect the way it was.
  8. Hey everyone, After searching for 12v stuff for awhile I got my hands on a huge lot of sets, rails and accessories. I will be keeping most of it, but since the seller insisted I take the lot, there are a number of sets that I (may) want to sell. I have not yet checked all of them for completeness but all important parts are there and I will check and count each set in detail before making a deal. All of it is listed here, text in dutch, so please ask for a translation! - Sok.
  9. And then all this needs is a rubberband construction so it RTC's, and you can build a beautiful small RC car :)
  10. I really, really like that. Any chance it can be made smaller than 5x5? (without the wheels)
  11. I understand, no worries. I have an opportunity next week to buy a huge lot (around 1k €) worth of 12v trains so I might actually be looking to sell a few things in the future. - Sok.
  12. I found a big lot of track closerby for a good price but I'm still interested in some of the smaller parts (lightbricks etc.). I'll be away on training for the entire week so I'll get back to you about that next weekend. - Sok.
  13. I was really, really surprised when he mentioned his asking price, I've seen them go on ebay for 200+! I may have a chance to buy a reall big lot of 12v trains (around 1k €) so if that succeeds, expect some of it to be sold as I can afford to buy that but not keep it all! (need to pay rent ) - Sok.
  14. Let me think about that for a day or so...
  15. Please let me know when you get the actual shipping cost, because 50 is definitely too much. If I get rid of the second transformer that should deduct another 1.5kgs right? - Sok.
  16. I'm interested in everything except these: Wire with two 2-prong connectors without middle pin, 96 Studs Long 10 euro (2) (or is that a typo?) Transformator only 20 euro (1) Howmuch is shipping to the Netherlands? - Sok.
  17. I bought a 7760 shunter loc last week, and it was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. No manual and missing some minor parts, but a 3-buck bricklink order will fix that soon enough :) - Sok.
  18. Howmuch are you asking for the white light bricks, some cables and straight track (a piece?) ?
  19. I've bought a few small things on BL and I have to say for small parts it easily beats eBay. On larger sets its more difficult to get a good price on BL (because prices are usually fixed) than on eBay, you might always get lucky in an auction there! - Sok.
  20. When I was a kid I used to build tunnels and rocks from (non LEGO) chicken wire and papier-maché, it's cheap and can be painted in any colour you like. I plan on doing it again once I can make a nice track layout. - Sok.
  21. Would it help if you put the rotation point for the bogies closer to the center? That way the entire base would shape with the track faster and maybe jerk around the box instead of touching it..I don't have one yet so can't test it :( - Sok.
  22. Multiple airtanks would do well, and maybe a second PF-M motor for the compressor with pressure switch :)
