  1. Strange.. i use it very sparsely on a wool cloth and it worked out quite okay for the tracks (before that i washed them in soapy water, because they looked horrible when i recovered them back in the day maybe that helped to guard the plastic so to say, because the elsterglanz polish was okayish to get off from the plastic where i wasn´t careful enough and smeared over it.). For the wheels i used a q-tip to apply and let it sit for maybe a minute or two, then polished it off.
  2. I ordered 3 packs of straights and i am happy to say that they are great! They look so nice, the packaging is very classy und most importantly, they work perfect and are of very good quality. Looking very much forward to the curved track in high radii, this will be awesome
  3. Thank you guys @Sunil766 I use this : Works also for the Tracks, I think you should be able to get your hands on this in switzerland too. @Bartosz Lego 7760 9V Mod by Henrik S, auf Flickr unfortunately the quality of the picture is not so great... Railbricks had an article on this , look here: https://brickmodelrailroader.com/index.php/download-railbricks/railbricks-issue-3/ The most expensive Parts were the Windows and the blue weight bricks i think. hope this helps!
  4. So, this mod started with me wanting to rebrick the 7760 Diesel Shunter. The plan was to replace the expensive parts with similar cheaper ones. After doing so i wasn´t really happy with the frankenstein-like 9V - 12V mix i had created, so I decided to redo it and mod the Engine with modern parts. This is the result: 7760 - Diesel Shunter 9V Mod by Henrik S, auf Flickr 7760 - Diesel Shunter 9V Mod by Henrik S, auf Flickr 7760 - Diesel Shunter 9V Mod by Henrik S, auf Flickr 7760 - Diesel Shunter 9V Mod by Henrik S, auf Flickr 7760 - Diesel Shunter 9V Mod by Henrik S, auf Flickr 7760 - Diesel Shunter 9V Mod by Henrik S, auf Flickr Feel free to comment and critize, i hope you enjoy the pictures
  5. So, after like a million years i have updated my BR 111. I like it better this way, i feel like it fits well with the other 9V locos, i resolved the issue with the colorful pantographs and found a better-looking solution for the front (IMO). 6. Thank you guys! Sure, feel free to! I´m excited to see what you come up with
  7. Hello everyone! I´d like to share my small Train Station with you Guys. It has a station platform, the station building and a shed. Both buildings feature an interior. (Please excuse the not so great picture quality. The lighting wasn´t as great as i thought and the camera acted up.) 8. Thats great, i didnt knew Part 48729 existed in red! Yes, i think you are right, i just have to come up with a clever solution to get it done. Thank you for the suggestions, i appreciate them. Thank you, i added a reference picture in the main post. Thank you, you are right. Going the 7/8 wide route would enable me to cram more detail in the models and get them closer to the prototype. Somehow i´m nostalgic for the 6 wide scale, although i know i won´t be able to build masterpieces like regularly shown here. I like how the moc´s fit in with the official sets that way. Might go the 7 wide way, this seems like a good compromise between both worlds i think. Thank You! I like the tan/dark blue paint scheme, it´s something different than the usual DB red.
  9. Hello everyone. I´d like to present you my version of a DB Class 111. DB Baureihe 111 by Henrik S, auf Flickr A view of the front. I used bley frames for the windows, i think it fits well and looks very much like the prototype. I´m not quite sure if it would look better if the windows were rotated to their sides. It would certainly need a lot of tinkering and a bigger change to the front-section of the loco. DB Baureihe 111 by Henrik S, auf Flickr A closer look at the Pantograph. I´m quite satisfied with how they came out . DB Baureihe 111 - Pantograph by Henrik S, auf Flickr Please feel free to tell me your opinions and offer critique where you see fit. 10. Thank you very much guys! Thank you, i´m quite satisfied with how they came out! Regarding the height, i think you are right. I have to see how i can make it a bit flatter without losing the curved front. I´ll try to come up with something
  11. Thank you very much guys! Hehe, didn´t think of that one
  12. My Spin on a modern Signalbox. Took Inspiration from some H0 assembly kits. Need to ballast the rest of the tracks in front of it, but otherwise it´s finished. 13. My Version of a Siemens Taurus, the paint scheme is based on the "Wiener Lokalbahnen". I based the Front on the excellent design by Flickr user Thomas Nessler, albeit adapting it to a 6-wide version. Siemens Taurus by Henrik S, auf Flickr Siemens Taurus by Henrik S, auf Flickr
  14. Fantastic MOC, i really like the dome-roof solution and the Interieur you included. Very nice!
  15. Thanks a lot for the comments and critics guys! Indeed, it kinda looks a bit like an early Leo 2. I took a lot of inspiration from many current MBT´s and tried to incorporate what i liked into this MOC. @TheBeeze i can see what you mean, i might change this in the future.
  16. Hello everyone! After watching "The Mandalorian" and really liking the Blurrgs which are featured quite heavily during several episodes, i decided to build some myself. I really like how strange and clumsy they look. The final product should be roughly in minifig scale, it might be a little skinny (planning to fix that in the foreseeable future). The Blurrg is able to mount a rider and some luggage. Hope you enjoy, please leave comments and feedback! by Henrik S, auf Flickr
  17. My Spin on a Panzer IV Tank. Utilising several techniques and taking a lot of inspiration from the many excellent Lego Panzer IV´s out there i´d like to present you my version. I know some of you will not like the use of Brickarms U-Clip Connections, but i unfortunately could not think of a better solution. Anyway, i hope you like the MOC, feel free to comment / criticise ! 18. My Spin on a Main battle Tank. I Tried to incorporate a reasonable, realistic looking camouflage pattern. Turned out quite good i think, though i used up all of my dark green plates in the process... The Model has working suspension, 360 degree turret rotation and quite a bit of gun depression for hull-down action. As You can see i kitted it quite a bit to achieve a "heavy duty / in action / packed" kinda look. Enough talk, here are the pictures: by Henrik S, auf Flickr Please click the pics to view high res versions on flickr, and feel free to comment / criticise !
