How does it scale now with minifigs ? Mf is 34meters scaled to 84cm I see this one is given 28,8 meters..

Also try to go trough your spare and limit the number of unique items lots. It can help a lot!

In the meanwhile, i still haven’t finished it but my 4 years old yet want to mod it. (i put it under spoiler tag as i don’t know how to reduce embedded size with imgur)

Isn’t there any space to put a 4 studs lenght axel just after the faulty hinge? (Step 1512) I don’t get how its getting out of place this way but it should prevent it.

Don’t forget white for a hoth display :) But actually it can be any color if you put enough plates/tiles on it.

Did you use the v84? I know you build it quickly, there’s an update on the front gear. If you’re talking about the big black stand for the ship flying, i didn’t planned to build it so i can’t help.

That’s even better than what i thought then! If i had the budget if would have gone this way, but i gonna keep my version with hinged hull. Next step would be the engine you still haven’t mod. :)

This interior is really amazing. Looks like you doubled the pieces count also! I guess you can’t use any (angled) stand for it? The roof hull panels just seems put over the ship with no connection ?

I saw the same header when i made my order but still. It’s such a shame Lego’s delays are so long when i received my last bricklink order in less than 24h after i made it..

So do I! Only two bricklink sellers have failed and i’ve made a final order for less than 2€ , but i can start yet as soon as i manage to find some free time. My Bnp order left warehouse status after exactly 4 weeks and took 2 more days to come, keep hope ;) And yes it is inspiring to see some mods yet!

A little piece of advice for those wanting the canopy: i see in the beginning of march, some have been sold cheap (around 10€) while all currently available are 40+.. It could be useful to activate notifications for this part in your wanted list so if a cheap one appears for sale, you’re warned.

It depends also about the country you live in. By e.g. for me in Belgium best deals are on the german Amazon. Lego are always cheaper in Germany than Belgium, France or Netherlands and as i have amazon prime working, free delivery too.

The official set looks so miserable aside the moc :D As i won’t be building the stand, thanks for your picture of the front landing gear, It might helps when i will finally be building mine (hurry up lego brick n pieces!). The one in the build looks somewhat fragile to support such a big ship. I’ll try first the v84 solution and if i am not satisfied, i’ll use your mod.

Didn’t get the mail neither but i just downloaded new version. Glad to hear there’s only two 1x4 to add for the update :) Nice to see a part list without the stand, it has been an headache to me to remove those parts from my wanted list. :p

Just wait to look at the new one and you’ll eventually know. You can also mod your old one to look like the new, it only depends of parts availability of the new set and similarity in the build.. Given all the new parts available now, i would resell the old one but the new one could be a downgrade too.. (like the new wave)

How easy / difficult is it? I see warning in the description about old (rare) pieces. The part about stressing bricks is what worry me the most, i think i’ll stay with my 75192.

Except the canopy and the carbonite bricks, i can’t see any rare or expensive pieces. You shouldn’t have any trouble to find them, its a lot of common parts.
