Is it just me or have the UK Lego sales, since Black Friday, been virtually non-existant? Usually the January sales begin on boxing day, which is still true to some extent but there's nothing with more than a 35% discount so far. Even Amazon had nothing of substance in their Boxing Day sale. Bad news for us UK bargain hunters.

Interesting indeed. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the sets will be revealed on the 17th January. I base this on every Benny tidbit being found at the 17 seconds mark

Even on this theme, we had Apocalypseberg in the background, but I guess we just didn't realise until it potentially happened again with the space port.

I thought that it had been strange in it's lack of availability in the UK. Turns out that Benny's Space Squad is sold out almost everywhere, such as John Lewis, Smyths Toys, Amazon (even though it's listed, the delivery time frame of 1-3 months tells you everything) and Argos does even list it but does with the other LM2 sets. The only reputable place that I could find it was at The Entertainer, if anyone is interested. I do hope that the stuff from the new teaser trailer turns out to be another set. How do other Classic Space fans feel about the other set, 70821 Benny's Build and Fix Workshop? I know the set isn't aimed at adults per se, but those pieces and the 1 printed piece for Benny's vehichle are worth at least one purchase in my opinion.

I hope it continues to do so, then hopefully we'll get more sets in the theme. Also, people that say there is no market for Classic Space anymore would be proven wrong.

Well obviously new minifigures have greater room for expansion than new Castles, although I'd like those too.

Yes if you put it in very basic straw man argument terms like that, but as we all know, there is a design element to it that makes them pop; and room for expansion. Are you saying that there is no room for new Castle or Historical figures because they've all already been done? Why do any more costumed minifigures again then? They've been done. Castle was just an example too, it could be done for literally any older theme that people like, such as Classic Space, including Blacktron, Ice Planet etc.

I voted "Don't really Care for Them". I don't mind the things, some of them are really fun; but there is too much of that in recent CMF lines so I really think they need to be cut back.

You know what; rather than new sets of castles they've already done, I'd rather see a dedicated CMF line like "CMF Classics: Castle", which would be a line of 15 or so new Castle Inspired minifigs (and repeat for other classic themes). That, or a 'Battle Pack' style sets with figures and accessories like a Battle Standard, in the same style as the Chima "Tribe Packs" such as 70229. Or, if they do go back to standard castle sets, I'd prefer them to mix it up a little and offer more civilian buildings, even if it has to be direct to consumer.

Is that Unikitty leak actually a new print? I feel like that's the basic Unikitty from LM1 or very similar. If so, that seems kind of lacklustre.

B&M represent, Peppermint! Haha. My Uk buddies will know that place well. Since around September they've started to stock a lot of Lego but aside from the recent 20% off sale, I wouldn't label any of them as "Bargains". Sorry for the de-rail.

Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up. I like the leaked CMF series, but I had hoped they'd throw the Historical fans a bone. I guess 2019 is another barren year for Castle etc. Anyway - new minifigs - yay!
