You can use whatever the hell you like in the Pillage the Village contest. So long as it doesn't breach the rules. I would say use it for a rich merchant or something along those lines. And as for the army, wait till there are proper soldier torsos in LDD.

Ah yes - I use that same Captain Redbeard torso for my merchant captains and other millitary uniforms. It is good because it doesn't have guns, swords etc. hanging from it.

Problem here - This would probably be disqualified. It says in the rules that it needs to be set in 1700 - 1800. I think it is an interesting idea, but I think your efforts are in vein and I would like to see something that will go well in the competition. Good luck! EDIT: And that's 12 photos.

This is very good, although a tad unrealistic. If I were you, I would add some more greenery - it's supposed to be a jungle so it needs more trees etc. Another improvement you could make is maybe make i a little less crowded. On the whole though, a very good MOC and good luck in the comp!

The best film ever is by far Oceans on End #1 - The Island. But I also like POTC, Master and Commander, Blackbeard the Pirate etc.

I'd be keen to see if you make molds etc. and how you do that.

No official pirate set contained bald minifigs, but you don't have to make an official set, so bald is a good way to go! Knight's ship is fine, although I would modify the hull as well as the sail if I were you so as to make it more original. I'm going to say that I think the LDD backgrounds will be fine as long as they arn't the center of attention, as it is the same as just google image searching "lego backdrop" and digitally inserting the background image. Don't quote me on this, but I think the EB community is voting and if there is dispute, the admins and mods will clear it up. I hope this helps and good luck!
