  1. Yes I agree with everything you say here, but things just seem to be a bit pricey where I live. For instance, I bought a cheap microphone for Oceans on End in a small country town, the I saw the same mic in Canberra for $30 more! So maybe getting a friend to buy these sets elsewhere and send to me would be the best option?
  2. I don't know about the gun, but the hull would be the Harry Potter Durmstrang Ship. Not much of a ship when you compare it to the Blue Orca is it.
  3. jamtf, you see those bargains at the bottom of your screen? Ebay pays money for advertising. And after a long time waiting, they have raked in enough cash to purchase the worlds biggest ever prize pool!
  4. Good job Guss I like it. You did well to make it so the hat isn't didsplaced. Now build the Black Pearl and its crew!
  5. I must say I agree. This isn't great like the BSB or SES, but it is an interesting little craft anyway. Compact and appealing.
  6. Cameron_Tally, welcom to EB! I think the reason that the time cruisers flying time vessel wasn't voted much is that this is a pirate forum and most people here will like the most "piratey" ship. So there is my opinion. And welcome to EB. If you have any problems, PM me.
  7. Phred you duffer! That would be why the hair isn't green.
  8. I don't know about Zulus, but I do know a Zuloo that could easily overpower your army.
  9. Um - how about NO! Shako thief!
  10. Yeah true. I don't see this going anywhere so back on topic, thanks very much to everyone who contributed to the planning etc. of this competition. It will be great fun regardless of wheather I win or not.
  11. Well if you want my advice, make a slope up to it the front section, then line the top of the front with brown tiles.
  12. Aye. I see what you mean. Having the box means you have the set, not just the bricks needed to make the model. Although I don't think it is that important to have the box.
  13. Dude, stop bashing yourself. You're MOCS are great. There is nothing wrong with them. They are very realistic! Keep up the great work.
  14. I know what you mean. I think the front is too flat compared to the stern. You need to raise the foc'sl'e (I hope that's how it's spelt) Otherwise good, and I like the stern detail, but please do something about the front.
  15. Aw. But it's fun. Oh well. I think whoever thought up this cometition did very well.
  16. I would say that the BSB could have a lower deck. It would actually be quite a small ship, but it would have a cargo deck below a gun deck and then the top deck. It is a great ship though.
  17. Or Mister Phes could just post the rules?
  18. If anything could make it more realistic, probably having a galley stove funnel coming out of the deck. But I do say it is the best ship ever.
  19. HAHAHA. That's the spirit. Sorry Mister Phes, but you have no way out of this one - or maybe we might spare you if you post the rules?
  20. I like realistic sets so I liked the BSB over the RBR as it had doors to the cabin etc. I think though, the Pirate theme wasn't that realistic as Pirates had lrger and better ships than the Imperials.
  21. AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! I WANT RULES! please I am really looking foward to building for this contest, and who knows! My entry may just appear in a future episode of Oceans on End. I can't wait. And Guss, I think if Mster Phes doesn't post the rules, we can work together.I am already in Australia so while you are flying I seek, and when you arrive we destroy!
  22. Yay! I hope I can still enter this!
  23. Uh oh! Do I count as staff?
  24. I agree. I think that kind of attention to detail is what makes a ship really sing.
  25. I agree. The crew are a bit non-piratey, but the ship is good. I especially like the use of seaweed.
