  1. wow....Congratulations on your wonderful work !!
  2. hi robin IV ... don't care about the money, when i was 21 i had only dreamed and realized nothing. and you have already realized something pretty good. when you get older, money won't be the problem maybe ... but time. believe me !! you can always make fragments such as a gunport with crew or a section of the bow. a small moc can certainly be as beautiful as a large one. good luck
  3. I agree with the neighborhood merchant, the details on the stern and the galleries are very well worked out and the colors fit together nicely. It is a very beautiful vessel
  4. wow, very nice and the rigging is done very nicely, not to mention the sails !!
  5. whow this looks already amazing. Sometimes it is for the best to but something away for a while to restart fresh. Like always it will be great and impressive, there's no doubt about that! Good look and courage.
  6. Wow a great building. I once saw your previous ship in the real and I was blown away!!! and this looks even better!! congratulations!
  7. wow, that looks beautiful. your gun gates of 2 x 2 show the ship bigger ... but in proportion I think that 3 x 3 is more correct. and I think the anchor is also very nice but too small compared to the ship. if you are going to build it in real bricks you might see the difference better. but that is no criticism at all and I am already looking forward to seeing that beautiful ship in real bricks. oh yeah and I used about the same chain plate iron on my next model, we apparently had the same idea! as a ship lover I can recommend a book ..historsche schiffsmodelle of w. zu Mondfeld. good luck with building!
  8. oops sorry too late! I only have the front section, the rest is already worked up in a different keel, but English is not my mother tongue and I do not always express myself well, I opted for a late 18th century model because it seemed 'easier' to build. now I have started an early 17th century model, which gives other challenge and it seems to me more difficult to build...
  9. thx it was based on the hms agamemnon,a english 3 rate vessel from arround 1800 the intention was to make a wooden model, I had done this once many years ago. but to see works by arjan oude kotte he is a real legoartist, and since I always built lego in my childhood, I chose to build it. it is quite easy to make, the decks are fairly flat and there is no woodwork such as on ships of the 17th century books from, among other things, stephen bietsty's cross-section man of war or historische schiffmodelle from w. zu mondfeld wil help you a lot good luck and bricking
  10. great built!! yes indeed its a nice wreck and i like the lantern...and the red fish above the ruder,i see humor in it!
  11. Thx for your comment. Off course you can coppy what you want, because that is the reason why I post this on this site. You have been wright about the collor of the grey deck, the problem is when you almost finish you see some faults and rebuilt again ... and rebuilt ..... . When I start riging I saw other faults like the mast are to thick , the shape of the bow is not good enough , but I start riging because otherwise it wil never finished and I have to learn a lot about riging aswell . I posted this ship before I brick it off and restart again with another vessel .
  12. thx everyone for the nice comment, here are some more pics.
  13. agamemnon (7) by wouter de smedt, on Flickr Hello everyone, this was my first real moc . The meaning was to make the first part of the ship because I don't have any parts, but when I started inspiration came and this is the result. I took al lot of inspiration of this site, so I want to give a little bit back to mayby inspire others.Comment and critic always welcome.
