Thanks, the mission was to fit beer can in trunk x) First i tried this transmission setup with the old differentials, but then it could move barely on both gears, so i think this is as efficient as it can be :) Front: https://imgur.com/a/mG1Y0pv

Yeah my phone (Sone Xperia 10 IV) allows for multi-screen apps but for some reason it doesnt allow camera. And the 3rd party background video recorder apps permissions make me paranoid. So this is crappy quality laptop webcam video. Motors are PF motors. For drive 2x L motor, winch M and steering servo. Gears go like this: 1st gear: 8t/24t > 16t/20t > differential 2nd gear: 20t/16t > differential Here more pics, do you want something spesific? https://imgur.com/a/cOpkC2q Also, sorry for not understanding how to embed images

Hi! I made this few months ago, now decided to share. I try to figure out how to capture video with same phone that i use to control Buwizz, its annoying you cant background video capture with android native apps. This RC model has 2-speed manual gearbox, V8 fake engine, 4x4 drive, rc winch, front lights and original door setup. https://imgur.com/a/VNg0O9k

[3DPrint] Geneva Drive
Jude replied to Jude's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Thank you all for these comments! -
I wanted to design Lego compatible geneva drive gears and here is result. Works good with manual and motorized, but i have tested onlu the proof of concept so i have no idea how much load it can take. This prototype is printed with silk-PLA which is very weak. I imagine with PETG or carbonfiber infused filaments should handle reasonble amount of torque. If his is not enough, one can always replace the printed driver pin with small furniture nail, just heat the nail and push it through the plastic. Enjoy and let me know if this useful or waste of time ;)https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6706380/files

Ridiculous RC Reliant Robin

Looks so much fun! Few years ago i tried to do this too, chassis was ready but i never finished the body. Now only thing that is missing is Clarkson figure -
Im planning to build this model, however i have few questions. For carrier i go with the non-suspended version, superstructure version not decided. 1) For drivetrain, would it be better to use the new differentials to get more torque? Power source will most likely be Buwizz 2. 2) As it has different steering angles, does crab steering actually work or is it waste of servo motor? 3) The double turntable; can i use the 60t versions without too much modification? 4) Does it work good with new XL linear actuators? 5) Can it lift atleast full 33cl can of beer?

PF receiver not working
Jude replied to Sentinel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Do you use multiple IRs with same battery? I had this very strange problem, 3 IRs (1 with extension cable) connected to same AA battery box, only one IR was working. In this setup the V2 was bottom plug, V1 centre and extension top. I changed plug of the IR with extension wire to the bottom and then all IRs started to work. -
Here is my version :) It is Full RC with Buwizz and 4 motors, 2xM and 2xL. Basically its combined from 42053 (looks) and 8043 (mechanics). Tracks, Upper arm and grabber is from my head. And instead of the old 56t turntable/8t this uses the new 60t with 12t. Also it has manual 2-speed gearbox for tracks. Volvo Brutalis

Thanks very much! Could You send me PM instructictions for posting pics, I cannot get it right. -
Hi! Here is small preview of my first serious Technic MOC. More info will come if this is good enough content for here. Here it is: Goal here was just to mod set 42043 B-model, but things got out of hand as always, you test ideas and then suddenly there is something to show for. Truck pulling this is my mod of 42043 B-model, drive by 2x PF XL motors geared 1:1 in drivetrain, then reduced by the new diffrentials, 1st axle is locked, 2nd axle with differential. Steering mechanish is modded from 'Ppung daddy' YT video. Trailer functions: - 3 axles with suspension, soft springs (might need to replace 1st axle with hard springs) - RC loading ramp, L-motor - RC leg support, L-motor - manual motorized winch, M-motor - rear PF lights, black tape is used to cover the extra shine Heres also a mod of Madoca1977's work: source=https://imgur.com/a/Sbmy1WX[/img]

Do You know can I buy wire rims that would fit 62,4x20S tyres, or complete wheels of this size with these type rims? https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjXq6-RyqXlAhV_AxAIHXSJBdAQjRx6BAgBEAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pearltrees.com%2Fksanderson%2Fwheels-tyres%2Fid8633726%2Fitem84249867&psig=AOvVaw3hpzJVXzApHjcjOTd5TfA8&ust=1571480158312898
