  1. Funny, I just finished the head of your 2.1 version and just bricklinked the few pieces I was missing for the hips and legs :) The new version looks great, although I was really a fan of the old cockpit and the use of Paint roller brushs, the new one looks amazing but maybe a bit less fun. Is it possible to build the new front panel without modifying the entire head ?
  2. Yes, seems to work on and off, maybe juste my internet connection, nevermind :)
  3. Sadly the picture links seem to be broken, could you please reupload it ?
  4. Damn you ! Now I'm tempted !
  5. My thought exactly :D The official length of the resistance bomber is 30 meters, so at 1:250 scale it should be 15 studs long. This build looks approximately 12 studs long if I'm not mistaken ? Just a bit out of scale sadly ! The build itself still is very nice though, great job, especially the updated version.
  6. Check out @efferman Stand, I have not finished my Falcon yet but at the moment it fits on a 40cm deep shelf with a good margin. If i'm not mistaken, there actually is an alternative version of his stand which is even more vertical.
  7. I bought the instructions yesterday and spent some time reading it, they are perfectly clear and the techniques used are smart and straight-forward. Definitely recommend it, I especially like the fact that you were able to avoid using magnets for the bottom plates.
  8. I intend to buy both the Slave I and the Snowspeeder UCS, but i need to spread the expenses so I was wondering if there was a safe guess about which one would be retired first ? If anyone here has some clues about that :) Thanks !
  9. Thanks. This definitely joined my wanted list :)
  10. Would you be able to post some rear pictures ? The parts of the venator I like most are the engines, would be great to have a quick look before buying the instructions.
  11. Thanks, it looks great :)
  12. Amazing round-up of the possible MODs, really a great place to start ! Do you have a final picture of the engine section ? I'm wondering if the result is good without some kind of "grille" (I saw others on this topic tried to recreated it with droid arms.
  13. Wow ! I'm really happy with the way it looks, those red round corner plates are working well :) Does it hold well together ? I was a bit worried about that since i didn't get to test it.
  14. @Azrielsc I'm using the latest version of Stud.io on OSX (1.0, build 148) I guess I could try to export it to Ldraw see if it works better for you ?
  15. I wish I could, but I can't PM anyone at the moment :)
  16. Would anyone be kind enough to share the .lxf for this tough barge ? It's actually the only non-canon ship I plan to build, it just looks awesome.
  17. That is quite strange yeah. I will check the file tonight, and let you know which version of stud.io I am using :/
  18. +1 on updating the lxf link, this MOC just looks amazing !
  19. @Azrielsc Here you go : https://www.dropbox.com/s/k83uffh43kt350l/yt-2400.io?dl=0 I made some changes to make sure I used only existing bricks in fairly common colors, let me know if you run into any issues ! Also, make sure you replace the 98100 cone with the 98100pb05 (Black Millennium Falcon Cockpit Pattern). I definitely hope the model holds up well IRL :)
  20. Everything about the YT-2400 here : http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YT-2400_light_freighter I'm planning a rebel fleet at the 1:250 scale, starting with small fighters and freighters and hopefully one day building the gigantic Nebulon B frigate mortesv designed (a fleet needs a flagship right ?). Browsing around I found this nice little freighter from the corellian shipyards, with some clear similarities with the iconic Millenium Falcon. It is supposed to be around 22 meters large, which I converted to approximately 12 studs. So here you go, just a Stud.io render for now but i will probably be able to build it and make some pictures in a couple of months. Front : Back : Scale comparison with an X-Wing : Note : the cockpit should be the falcon's printed cockpit (98100pb05) which doesn't seem to be available in Stud.io I'd very very happy to share the .io file with anyone interested in building it, and of course feedback is very welcome :) Cheers,
  21. Here's my take on the YV-929 armed freighter, based on Ekae's .lxf and the drawing found on Wookiepedia : http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/YV-929_armed_freighter The main change is about the side and rear wings, they might be oversized at this scale, especially the side wings, but I do think they help identify the ship's model. Other than that I just loved the color scheme of the drawing, so I tried to introduce some dark red and tan to mimic it. It's just a quick try on stud.io for now, I will order the pieces soon. PS: I'm not sure this is the best topic to post this, but since Ekae first posted the design here it felt appropriate. Let me know if it is off-topic !
  22. Hi everyone, I'm looking to start my own rebel fleet, starrting with the smaller freigthers and fighters, excluding the Nebulon B frigate for now (lack of space, so many parts, but one can dream). @Ekae would you be so kind as to PM me the ldd file for the Dornean Gunship and the tough barge ? I can't seem to PM you, probably because i'm a recent subscriber... Also, did anyone hear about a Pelta-class frigate MOC in this scale ? Thanks,
