How do you keep track of which pieces you have?
CallMeCarbiz replied to 1Ruben's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I find that when I sort through my bricks it gives me an idea of what I have available. As for how to then find those pieces, that depends on how you sort your bricks. This should probably go under the Unpopular Opinions thread, but I'm a fan of sorting by color and type. I break it down to bins for colors and then the colors into 1x* bricks, 2x* bricks, 1x* plates, other plates, tiles, etc. For more specialized parts I sort them by type: slopes, arches, jumpers, doors, etc. Mark from LEGO Masters shows a similar system off in this video As for containers, you can choose anything that works for you and your space. There is a thread in this topic dedicated to sorting options: -
Those of us that waited got burned in the end.

Same here. I was going to buy the Castle this week for the Forrest Hideout. Now I'll just wait for Double VIP Points, a decent GWP, or a celebration (Holiday/Birthday).

Same here. If I wait one day I can get the castle, forest hideout, and the pirate pack. What if we all make a pact to wait one day to buy the castle, that will work right?- 2,976 replies

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
CallMeCarbiz replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm hesitantly excited. He posted another image with 3 of them. So he's either really trying to prank us all or he actually found them in BAM. I'm hoping that they are in BAM as I would love to get my hands on a few of them. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 23. Rumors and discussion

Someone has created something for LEGO Ideas using Minifigures and (I'm guessing) the Iron Man mask https://ideas.lego.com/projects/a24f7d5b-60dc-4bc3-8f0b-101310a18dd5 -

I pulled some off of the shelf (please excuse the dust) and it looks like the 2013 barding is slightly shorter and has lost the horn or point on the pommel. When I was putting everything back together I discovered that you can put the LOTR wargs can wear the new barding backwards. Original Riders- 2,976 replies

Why do only certain sets stickers peel?
CallMeCarbiz replied to Whovastron's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm not sure why they would peel, but I do know that you can request stickers from LEGO. They have an article explaining how you can request them in Bricks & Pieces: https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/help/Bricks_Pieces/replacing-stickers-kA009000001dblTCAQ -

Did LEGO never sell the blank 2x2 round shields in a set? They are available on Bricklink but not Bricks and Pieces. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=59231 -

Might not be the right topic (but I don't think it's worth it's own topic) but your local Pick a Brick wall might have some leaves available. I can confirm that they are/were available in Salt Lake City, Utah and Indianapolis, Indiana. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22. Rumors and discussion
CallMeCarbiz replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Haven't found them in the wild yet. I'm hoping to find them at Walmart or Target soon. Local LEGO store has them, but due to COVID won't let you feel the bags. I was free to touch everything in BAM and PAB, but couldn't touch the CMF bags. -

I didn't see this posted previously but LEGO has listed the CMF 22 series on their site: https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/series-22-71032 Seeing a high-res version of the Bard makes me all the more excited for him. Wish he didn't have those stripes, but I'm sure my Forestmen will still welcome him with open arms. And the "Forrest Elf" comes with a sweet cape that I'm sure will be great for MOCs. Too bad we can't order just the cape. -
This is from Safari's translation of the post: "This is supposed to be a Viking ship including a sea snake, which means above all bad news for all fans of the ideas design by our esteemed colleague Jonas Kramm. His Viking ship should have almost no chance of being implemented. A little consolation perhaps: The LEGO version should probably be quite large and equally chic and look like a modern version of the 7018 Viking ship from 2005. There are six oars and seven round shields per side on the ship, the built sail is red and white. In addition, there will probably be a large green sea snake in the set. The only negative point: As so often, only three figures are included - which seems a bit strange on a ship with twelve rowing places." But maybe this could elude to something else Viking related coming from ideas? Pirates of Barracuda Bay > Creator pirate ship Medieval Black Smith > Creator Castle ????? > Creator Viking ship?
