    I'd be interested. I still prefer track power to batteries, but have 9V, Power Functions, and Powered Up, to keep running trains after my 9V transformers and things die.

    Thank you, everyone. Soldering was what I was afraid of hearing. I'm not skilled in that area, nor do I have the dexterity.

    The rubber stuff on my 9V track leads has worn away, quite a lot. Will electrical tape be enough to fix them? A new lead is expensive, and I really don't want to have to move everything to Powered Up. Is there a good aftermarket solution?

    I've been thinking about Mario Kart. Since that's on a track, I wonder if they'd do a motor base, that would also react to tiles, and run on the roller coaster track? Or would that be too weird? After this, I can't just really see them doing just kart and character sets...

    @1963maniac, they're backed up to a few weeks behind. My parts order from the 15th of July is still in warehouse, so we just need to be patient.
