Looks cool! Does it roll?

LEGO Ideas has been around 10 years now. However, no train has ever made it, licensed, or otherwise. What would the ideal train set be for Ideas? Locomotive, diesel, steam? Individual cars? Full train?

Hey, Bricked1980! Ideas just let me log in, weirdly, so I supported your Traction Engine. I LOVE Earth Green. -

I've tried Twitter, Reddit and Facebook, but on all 3, if you post the same thing too often, users get bored, especially on Reddit, where they seem to be a bit hostile, sometimes. So far, Brickset and EB seem to be the most welcoming, but if it doesn't have a license attached, or an obscure one, Reddit doesn't seem interested. I've heard 'Go outside of LEGO communities, " but that seems to backfire, I've seen. -
I've noticed that some LEGO Ideas projects tend to do well, get to about 1,000 supporters, and start to falter. I'd like to humbly suggest that we cooperate to help others get their best projects moving more. Here is a thread to do so, hopefully it's OK. Thanks to Graupensuppe for the suggestion.

We should have one! Where would we put it? Can we put it here, in the Embassy? I've read EB for years, but still getting a feel for it. -

Is it just me, or does it seem quite difficult to get something through Ideas? I've noticed that even really good projects tend to get to about 1000, and struggle. I admit, my projects need more work, but it's rather surprising. -

I've noticed that before this, I was getting votes sporadically. Now, I'm getting nothing. I guess my project needs to fail, and be redone. Either that, or there are more login problems than we're hearing, but to go from little to absolutely nothing, and in your case 5 votes to 1 makes me think this is more widespread. -

Thanks! I've tried to request a new code multiple times, each with the same result. Will wait on a response from them. One question, though. Every time you go to login, if you're not remembering your password, do you have to keep doing this? It seems like a major hurdle to get passed just to vote. Especially if it comes up as invalid. Also, beautiful traction engine, sir! -

I hope this is OK. I didn't want to spam the forum with new links and stuff, as I tend to primarily build licensed MoCs. Anyway, I found I had a Flickr account still, as well as MOCPages. Without further ado, I present my first public MoC, Baloo's Sea Duck from Disney's Talespin. It was a favorite show of mine, growing up, so I decided I needed one. https://www.flickr.com/photos/75038470@N08/ And, um... I guess it won't hurt, a little about me. I was born disabled, so my right side doesn't work, so sports have never been my thing, so I grew up with Disney and LEGO. And trains. I've always been a huge LEGO fan, and have dreamed of designing a set for others to have and enjoy, and to perhaps inspire them. But, yeah. That's me. My favorite themes are Disney(all encompassing) and trains. I'll leave this here. Thanks for reading. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/761d1ae6-5ccc-4bc9-b74c-ab7960a77036/updates

Lego BrickHeadz 2018 - Rumors & Discussion
Modeltrainman replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Does anybody know when LEGO is officially announcing, and/or releasing the Mickey and Minnie Brickheadz? Some seller on Amazon(US) lists them for August 20th. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CL7PGHS?pf_rd_p=d1f45e03-8b73-4c9a-9beb-4819111bef9a&pf_rd_r=5ADB0YZC31BQM4RFDJT3 -
I'm kind of an odd AFOL in a way. Old enough to have watched Disney's Ducktales, Talespin ,in syndicated reruns, and have been young enough that the revered sets of the 80's were out of my price range. Yet, I'm young enough to have been 12 in 2001, and remember the My Own Train LEGO theme..I was thinking about that the other night, and wanted to see a return to the single rolling stock sets. I present to you British Passenger Car, modelled have early 20th century passenger coaches used in Britain.British Passenger Car LEGO Ideas

So, a while back, I was talking about building an Up house MOC, for submission to Ideas. Today, I hit the bricks, and gathered my bricks, and courage, to start it. I present to you my work in progress. I know the roof is unfinished, and a colorful mess, that's just a steepness test, plus I need roof suggestions. Friends, Eurobrickians, lend me your ears, eyes, and suggestions!:) Thanks! I don't know how to upload pictures, but... Up house WIP

How did you come out of your Dark Ages?
Modeltrainman replied to LegoModularFan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Never had a dark age. Always had LEGO. Was born disabled, with cerebral palsy, so my right side has never worked properly, outlasted the doctor's life expectancy for me, so sports was never an option, I got into LEGO really young, now 20 some years later, that Disney allowed LEGO sets, it's 'worse' than ever for me. Had to have the Toy Story, Cars, now Disney line, 9V and PF trains...Rex, my favorite Toy Story character is my favorite minifigure...- 62 replies
