  1. Mouth drop. :O
  2. Toys R Us in select European countries that have those stores. They are coming to US at Barnes & Noble later in the year.
  3. I'm the opposite. I've always preferred builds like castles and houses than spaceships. I had a lot of SW Lego when I was younger, but I'm planning to sell it and while some sets are very cool. I only collect HP.
  4. It feels weird to have all of the DADA teachers (OK, I know Slughorn isn't a DADA teacher but I class him in with those because he was the new teacher of that year) except from Lockhart! I don't always buy into speculation but it does make it appear as if they have plans for him!
  5. You're right. Bellatrix's hair was used on a Nexo Knight figure in blue only last year, so here's to hoping it will be used on a new Bellatrix! That minifig was perfect, I wish I hadn't sold mine. And Ginny's hair is still being used in some 2018 sets (Jurassic World and City) so I think that still captures Ginny really well.
  6. I am interested to know if Ginny will use the 2010 hair because it suits her perfectly. Same with Bellatrix (as I assume both will come at some point). Are they still in rotation, or were they only used for HP? P.S. My review is up of the Bricktober pack if anyone wants a closer look.
  7. Sorry I wondered why it had done that. Let me quickly edit it. @WhiteFangFixed them!
  8. Here is my review of 5005254 Lego Harry Potter Bricktober Minifigure Pack. It comes in a little cardboard display case with a plastic slip case, with packaging that matches the rest of the 2018 Wizarding World Lego. First we have Boggart Snape. He comes with a purse; hat and shawl and a double-sided face. Both of his faces are the same as the Snape figures included in 75953 and 75956. This outfit has only been produced once before in 2004. While it is quite an insignificant scene, it is a fun variant to have (especially for any potential DADA classroom sets that may come) as Snape doesn't really have the potential for very many variants throughout the series, and it is an improvement on the 2004 design. Perhaps the inclusion of the vulture for the hat would have made this even better. Next we move on to Dolores Umbridge. This minifigure has only ever been produced once before in 2007. Personally, I am still on the fence with this minifgure. While I think her printed outfit looks spectacular, something about her face prints (she comes with 2) and/or hair is off for me. While the texture on this hair is a clear improvement over the 2007 one, I think the style of the 2007 one suited the character much more. As it is, this is the one figure in the pack who would not be instantly recognizable (in my opinion) with just her face print. Her accessories are a teacup and wand. The next character is Horace Slughorn, and is his first appearance in physical Lego form. In my opinion, this character is fantastic! His face prints (he has 2), hair and outfit perfectly capture the character. His accessory is a potion bottle. While it would have been nice to have been given one of the academic hats he so famously wears, this is an excellent minifigure. The forth and final minifigure is Madam Rolanda Hooch. This is the third iteration of this character (following from 2002 and 2010) and I believe it is the best one to date. While her design is not dramatically different, her face print is instantly recognizable. And her second face has her iconic flying goggles. Personally, I am not sure if this is 100% the right hair choice (much like in 2010) but it is not a big deal. her accessories are a wand, a broom and a cape. Overall thoughts: I think that this is an excellent selection of minifgures, and if you are a Harry Potter fan and you have the chance to pick up this set, I would TOTALLY recommend it! While there are certain flaws (as discussed earlier) overall, they do an excellent job of portraying each of the characters included. My issue with this set, however, lies in the distribution of it. While it was no one's fault that TRU went out of business in most countries, I wish TLG would have made this set available for purchase in its own stores and on its websites, as the difficulty most fans are going to have in getting this is already proving to be very annoying - especially due to how rare and desirable the included figures are. I had to pay £35 ($45) for this set, but in the end, for the usage I would get out of it, I deemed it worth it.
  9. My Bricktober pack arrived this morning! I will post a review later.
  10. I really hope so.
  11. Woah 40289 Diagon Alley is on eBay for £62.09 from Japan. Must resist temptation!
  12. That is really cute! But please don't give the Lego group any more ideas about microscale HP. :P
  13. There is a new book coming next year including a Hermione minifig. Regarding the pictures of the figures... I think Sirius looks OK. Tonks and Kinglsey look pretty good, but they aren't characters I am in any rush for. Tonks' hair is a bad choice, though. Maybe it was the only one in that colour?
  14. DO NOT speak to me like that.
  15. I do know, and don't tell me what to do or not to do. --------------------- I saw a poster for Lego HP in my city centre today on a big sign, they are really pushing promo for this theme! Much more than any other theme. It is also the main picture on the front cover of Smyths' toy Winter catalogue.
  16. Dumbledore mentions he sees socks in the movie, and the house points glasses are on the wall in movies 1-2 as well as in the video games and wizarding world of HP (which they based the set on). I want the Hermione one! He hasn't been told anything. He's making it up. DA is out in Slovania.
  17. I'm pretty sure the sets will be based on the movies.
  18. I really hope we get Fang, but I'm upset Crookshanks just used an old mould. You're right, I was too quick to dismiss GoF. The old sets were actually really good, although missing lots of key locations and characters. Rescue from the Merpeople was my favourite of the sets so it would be nice to see a re-make of this, as well as Tasks 1 and 3 (perhaps a maze/graveyard hybrid). They aren't high up on my wishlist but I can see the appeal. I think the ship and carriage would be perfect for microscale builds. And I would LOVE Hermione in her Yule Ball dress (but maybe that is best suited to the CMF).
  19. They were stingy with animal moulds this wave, though.
  20. You’re really embarrassing yourself now, so just put the shovel down.
  21. A few people really need to brush up on their geography of Hogwarts. The boys’ dormitory is NOT the Gryffindor Common Room, it is another room that is simply found within it.
  22. I bought a large sideboard to put it on. Exactly. You know it’s fake when they start my *insert family or friend* works at *insert company*.
  23. I hope for Hagrid's Hut, Myrtle's bathroom, Diagon Alley, Gryffindor Common Room and something else nice. Please no FB or GoF (unless it's the Yule Ball) sets.
