Very cool. I'm always a fan of the wild west MOCs. Great work! I really like the hanging scene you've got there.

Really nice work. I could easily pick out many of the scenes. I really like your work, great job!

REVIEW: 2507 Ninjago FIRE TEMPLE
22kane replied to pikafunk's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice review, thanks. I never really paid much attention to this line but I do like this set. If I could land it on sale I would definitely pick it up. I thought they all had something to do with those spinner things so thanks for clearing that up. -
That's a very nice build. I like the interior details especially the menu. Great work.

That's what I thought. Excellent work.

I've never seen anything like that but I like it. They're almost like functional go-karts. Nice work.

That's a lot of hammers and a very interesting use for them I might add. It's a very nice build, good job.

That's really good. I wouldn't even know where to start to build something like that. Nice job

I love it! I wish Lego would make a series of sets like this. Great work! It reminds me of those collections that the craft stores sell with the lights and sounds. Very authentic.

Ok, so this is just awesome. I love industrial and harbor scenes. What a magnificent layout! I can tell you've got some series money wrapped up in this set up. I am definitely jelous, awesome awesome lay out. Great job!!

The Brickfather: some purist gangsters
22kane replied to Triborough's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I love it. I was thinking about putting a vig together of a bunch of Lego gangsters hanging out in a pool room and bar. Kinda like a Sopranos thing. Anyway, you've got a nice collection there. -
Amazing work for a seven year old, nice job little guy!! The first thing that came to my mind was "arty". It looks like Star Wars Lego art. Excellent job.

Green Army Men requisitioned with Minifig Cat Gear
22kane replied to patox's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Ahhhh very cool. I bought one of the TS army men packs but haven't opened it. I really like how you accessorized yours. I would be interested to see them in some kind of MOC. -
Very nice. I always like the single minifigure MOCs or vigs. I like how you changed up the parts to make this one.

Great review! I really don't know what to think about these sets. The colors are hideous and there doesn't seem to be anything that really stands out. However, if I could get one at a good price I would buy it. Same goes for this upcoming Friends line. I may purchase a couple sets and store them away. Back to the review... This also seems like one of the better sets from the line that I have seen so far. There is a whole gambling thing going on here so you get some good interaction from the set. Now there is an idea for a Lego theme, Lego Casino. I could get into that.

That is a truly awesome build. I really regret that I missed out on the wild west themes when they were around. I've always had a thing for that stuff but I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices on eBay. Anyway, the detail is exceptional and it has such a life like feel to it- or as close as you can get with Lego. Outstanding!! That is one of the best wild west MOCs I have seen yet.

Nico71's Creations
22kane replied to nico71's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That's very cool. I could never imagine having RC legos. I own a couple Traxxas RC models and I bash the hell out of them. Then again, I guess the Lego RC stuff wouldn't go as fast. Very nice truck though. I'd be interested to see any updates on it. -
I had actually thought about doing a MOC like that. Nice job, it's perfect.

Either way it doesn't bother me. I have bought extra track packs and I like the large sets that supply it as well. I could see it being an issue if let's say a complete circle of track was included with the Emerald Night. For someone that just wants to display it and doesn't have other trains they would be wasting the track that they paid for. It's probably better to only include it in large sets for that reason.
-
I've never been a big Technic fan but if the parts make a model better or operational (PF Trains) then I'm all about it. Technic models on their own don't do much for me. I had a few sets as a child but never really got into them. Although, that truck with the dumper on the back looks pretty cool.

I usually get most of my new set updates from Brickapedia and I haven't seen or heard anything about this. Kind of strange if it really has a January release date.

A Jurassic Park styled theme sounds great to me. I've always liked the first two and ironically I'm watching part 3 on tv right now. If they actually use some of the movie vehicles I would like it even more.
