  1. 1) Yes sets usually have a shelf life of two years so I think they will continue to sell them till 2020 2) Highly doubt they will add another part to the D2C. I think that was supposed to be the be all, end all Hogwarts where the System scale one would be more modular and up to personal choice. If you are talking about System Scale then definitely yes. We got the Clocktower/Yule Ball this year, I think we will be getting the Astronomy Tower next year, probably featuring the Room Of Requirements, Umbridge’s Office, and Slug Club if I had to guess. 3) I think the chances of getting a third wave are pretty high. Like 90%. My main concern was getting the second wave and since we got that, I’m not worried till after they finish Year 4
  2. Lockhart has six different attires. He could have his own Bricktober pack. Red, Blue, Gold, Green, Pink, and Duel Attire. They wouldn’t do the pink one for COS or Blue for Diagon. I’m just dying for a Lockhart minifig already! So instead of Riddle and Ginny, maybe Madame Pomfrey and Igor?
  3. Eh personally I want a Chamber Of Secrets Bricktober Pack since we have the Dada classroom and the bathroom. Give me Lockhart, Moaning Myrtle, Tom Riddle, and Ginny
  4. I just turned on my phone and I had a hunch the sets were out today. I can’t believe it..... I thought they wouldn’t top the Great Hall but they did. Clock tower is gorgeous and the one of the most stunning Lego sets I have seen! So much great details easily the best set in an amazing wave! Dumbledore’s office and the Prefects Bathroom are lovely! Hagrid Hut is another drop dead stunner and most screen accurate version yet. Nice pumpkin patch, Buckhead, Macnair comes with the axe, and the interior is nice too! Expecto Patronum is another great set which we saw earlier with the coolest tree builds to date and my favorite mold of all time the Stag! The only let down was the Horntail. Yikes that’s at but ugly, was planning to have it rest on my Great Hall. Hopefully it looks better in person. Will still buy because of the minifigs. And of course, an update Knight Bus which looks superb! Definitely going to pick that bad boy up.
  5. Dude you need to quit this insider facade. You did it last year too and it was incredibly annoying. You guessed one thing right good for you. I’m surprised you haven’t been banned yet.
  6. The clock tower sounds dope! Prefects bathroom and DADA classroom? SOLD!!!
  7. That hairpiece is perfect!
  8. Ro oh someone sounds entitled :/ Do you realisize how many new prints and animals they have done so far? They can only stretch the budget so far... It will look fine, I can envision it with black plain legs. There used to be a time where there were only one face print and torso print... they actually looked better without all the overdetailing. Lego fans are really spoiled sometimes.
  9. A. There's no unique minifigs that would belong to the set besides maybe a new werewolf or padfoot mold. We already have Hermoine, Ron, Harry, Snape, Lupin, Black and assuming the Graveyard rumor is true, Pettigrew. B. There's not much playability to a Shrieking Shack set. It's just a rundown house, literally all the action happens in one room. I honestly don't get the hype behind the set. I could easily live without and agree with Lego's decision to exclude it for now. It's far from essential and they will probably eventually make it down the line.
  10. So do we think Macnair will come with his executioner blade or not?
  11. Don't worry, last year we hit 200 before we got official pictures. Under budget and ahead of schedule!
  12. I think Sirius looks great, but the hair is a little on the neat side for a man on the run... the hairpiece would fit OoTP Sirius better than POA. As for Ernie, he might be one of my favorites released so far! He looks spot on and as goofy as in the film.
  13. Well you agreed with my point, I agree with your point, what are we going to argue over now?
  14. This isn't the Economics 101 thread.
  15. I hope not, I like the current format of 5-7 sets a year. Easy to collect all the sets since you don't have to shell out a fortune and keeps the theme fresh unlike cough Star Wars cough. I also wouldn't call it filler either as that as a negative connotation of being lazy and half way done, just being done for the sake of filling space. I think this wave could surpass the first with what we have seen so far... and last year's wave was phenomenal.
  16. She'll probably be in either The Burrow remake or Diagon Alley. I think we will see at least one of those sets next year.
  17. Harry looks amazing, they nailed his POA look down to a tee. Perfect likeness. Hermione on the other hand I feel like they never nailed her older self so that's nothing new so I'm not going to complain too much. Her SS and COS look in the Great Hall set was on point, but every other iteration has been meh. Nice Dumbledore variant and I think Fleur's dress piece is on backwards.
  18. Thanks for confirming the Graveyard rumor Random Bricker! I had the original one as a kid and to get another shot at a remake is going to be awesome! And at the 55 dollar price point, it will be pretty close to the original, similar minifigs as well like Lucius and Wormtail. This is going to be an amazing wave, I wonder if there is a way to get a Second Task in a £15 form?
  19. Just because you guessed one thing right in the D2C right last year, doesn't make you an insider. Two people have confirmed it's the Clocktower, so you have no ground to stand on.
  20. Next week? You are being too kind! Try the very next day.
  21. You guys never fail to impress me of how much you fight over the littlest of things....
  22. I thought it was confirmed by someone in here that all the sets are HP, no FB?
  23. Like I said when the heads leaked, having the full minifigs will probably flip some people. You know what? I think all four look fantastic and I'm starting to get used to Krum. Hope to get a better lit harry picture as he's my least favorite thus far. Hair looks great but the medium legs seem odd on him for some reason.
  24. Personally I would much prefer the Second Task to the Shrieking Shack. The minifig selection would be alot better as we are already getting Sirius, and if the Graveyard is true, we will get Wormtail regardless. Give me new Mermaids, a new Shark piece for Victor Krum, Harry with gillyweed. It would be really odd to get two of the tasks and not do the the last one. Maybe even a piece of those floating towers they jump off. The graveyard being $15 wouldn't surprise me either. They could the do scene where Wormtail takes Harry's blood. I like Lucius but he can always come in a OotP set or Diagon Alley.
  25. Np. Though the Graveyard is rumored for August, Merpeople is not. But I was saying in regards to set ideas not actual sets.
