  1. Thats weird to hear, since my Striking Venom came with a pair of golden legs to put on Meca One when outside the cockpit. In fact, the same page you linked, Brickset, has them in the inventory of the set. Anyway, I think it's odd how little gold this machine has. I understand that it would ruin the "stealth" concept (even though it doesn't look stealthy at all to me), but it just seems strange having a Rocka set in which the main color is black/gunmetal... Also, VNNB, you listed the green claws as a new recolor, but they already appeared in Scarox last year.
  2. I think I didn't explain myself correctly, as that's what I meant to say :P They're different pieces, but both can be used as lower or upper jaw. Front confirmed some pages ago that a normal minifigure can be placed pretty easily on the cockpit by making it grab the controls.
  3. Wow. Like, you're not buying them just because of stickers? I myself prefer it that way, more possibilities. Now, onto the stes, I think they all look great, but the heroes' machines need special mention. Such creativity! Evo XL sure comes with a lot of handy pieces. The beasts are probably the least appealing ones to me. Though their general design looks cool, they also seem somewhat barebones. I think this has to be with the heads consuming a lot of the budget, which is why I didn't liked the BA villains (and hence didn't buy any of them). Also, someone mentioned the lower jaw being made or rubbery, but I believe that would not be posible given there's no "lower jaw" piece. Many of you may have already noticed, but the two pieces that forms the beasts' heads may serve as both the lower and the upper part. This is clearly visible in Splitter Beast.
  4. Wow, thanks you very much! I don't know how you did it. Those seem the same steps I first tried... Well, anyway, thank you a lot! If I come with a similar problem in the future I'll try with your explanation before asking for help.
  5. Yes, I'd already tried when I replied you. I'm afraid they're not compatible. Which is actually rather weird now that I think of it...
  6. I'm afraid it didn't help me. I've already tried to rotate every point that can do so in the minifig and the handle to try and connect them, but I have only been able to attach one of the hands, not both to the handle.
  7. I was trying to build some Chima sets, but I'm having difficulties to make the characters grab their vehicles. Could anybody make it so the minifig sits behind the handle and grabs it in both cases? I've been strugling with this for God knows how long with zero results. I know for a fact that the handle piece can be connected with the other piece in a way it stays in the exact centre, maybe this is part of the problem. minifig.lxf
  8. So, I just found these while looking around for some pics: http://www.google.es...23&tx=134&ty=88 http://www.ibrickcity.com/wp-content/gallery/super-packs-ninjago-and-hero-factory/lego-superpacks-ibrickcity-hero-factory-66452.jpg Anyone had seen thess before? Because I don't think I've ever heard of them. They seem to be written in Korean so I assume are an exclusive edition for that country.
  9. Oh, I see. So it's like how Tr. Fluore. Redd. Orange and Tr. Fluore. Green appear to be red and yellow, instead of orange and lime respectively. I thought this only happened to Fluorescent colors. So, to make it clear, the color I was talking about, which is the one that appears for example in the head of some Hero Factory sets from this year, like Stormer and Aquagon, is in fact the Tr. Blue that appears in LDD?
  10. I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this. If not, let me know. I'm not going to say I want the color Tr. Dark Blue (that's how I think it's called) in the next LDD version, as I can imagine this has been said infinite times. What I want to know is WHY hasn't it been implemented already. I mean, I don't know anything about coding at all, but I don't think adding another color to the pallete can be so difficult, and it's a very basic color that we've been missing for years. Has TLG or the LDD development team said anything about the matter, or if they have planned to add it in future updates?
  11. 1 point to Koboldon 1 point to Gambrodon 1 point to Gallux
  12. 1 point for Evo 1 point for Cade Marler 1 point for Ryan Korsten
  13. 1 point for Marshal Boyle 1 point for Neo 1 point for Stringer the stinger
  14. LDD still won't connect to the Internet, so if someone could upload the files with the new update and post the link here it would be great.
  15. Great review of a great set! I'm hoping to pick this guy up when the sets arrive here in Spain. So many neat piece for MOCing. Also, I have a question: Any idea why HF sets seem to be always more expensive in Spain? Because here small sets cost 11'99 €, medium ones, like this one cost 14'99 € and Chima sets cost 18'99 €. Does this happen anywhere else?
  16. Oh, I see. Through the original character was more of a liliac tone and, of course, was dressed, the resemblance is clear. The armour works pretty well, though I've never been a fan of upside-down round shoulder armor.
  17. It would be of help if you could post a list with the Roborider and Bionicle sets you intend to sell. I myself would be very happy with some of the older Bionicle canisters that I missed :P
  18. Actually, no. There are some pieces, like the silver round shoulder armor, the silver HF shield or the transparent-lime Rocka shield that are not avaliable in real life. But nevertheless this is a very good entry. I would say thet the sword is too messy, however.
  19. Thank you two for your feedback! Yeah, the choice of the spiked armor was mainly to cover that gap, though as Dorek said it would look a lot better if it actually covered the knee joints. However, finding a way to make it work would have ended being too complicated and looking messy, while I was going for a more simplistyc style, something more along the lines of what TLG could've done.
  20. This is my entry for the Digital Hero contest: Helen Kernel XL http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=83799
  21. This is Helen Kermel, a female hero designed for hard-to-control situations. When the Brains attacked Makuhero City, she was inmediatly updated at the Assembly Tower and given an XL to fight the menace. Her equipment includes: -A mounted triple heat-seek missile launcher on her right shoulder -A mounted energy bazooka on her left shoulder -A visor to protect her head from the evil Brains -Two hero cores to give her the power neccesary -Spiked armour protecting her knees, useful for low attacks -A dual saw-sword, able to cut though hard materials Helen.lxf
  22. Imposing! I've been following your MOCs recently, and I have to say this is one of your best creations IMO. There seems to be a lot of connection tricks there, I would love to see the skeleton of this beast :P
  23. What I like about this is that I've been also thinking of how Nex, Stringer and their respective villains would look in BA, and my concept of Stringer's villain is exactly the same as yours xDD However, about Nex's one, I was thinking more of a mechanic-like creature, to fit his tech theme.
  24. Solved. Just downloaded the patch on a friend's PC and copied the archives to mine xDD Yep, now every HF works fine! If only they had added the missing ones from last year...
  25. Just tried, doesn't work either. I also selected LDD as an exception in the Firewall, but the same message shows when I open the program.
