  1. Shoot, I guess that also rules out Rhino and a bigfig Kingpin. Hopefully Kingpin can still show up with the Hagrid body mold or something, because it would make no sense to leave him out of a set that features Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Punisher, all three of whom he is one of the most prominent foes of. I also really hope the set's lineup of the Sinister Six features a few villains we haven't gotten yet. I'd be a bit disappointed if LEGO fills up the majority of the minifigure selection with characters we've already gotten.
  2. That's what I thought initially, but really, Vision doesn't get too many scenes that are both set worthy and where he'd be an essential inclusion. He doesn't become active until towards the end of Age of Ultron, and while he is important in the final battle from that, there's plenty of other characters that could be included in a set based off that. In Civil War, his scenes in Avengers HQ don't really seem like anything that would translate into an interesting set, and in the airport fight, he's the last one to show up, and he participates the least out of anyone present. Then he gets badly wounded early in Infinity War and doesn't get to participate in much action over the course of the movie. Plus CMF minifigures tend to be more detailed than minifigures from sets, and Vision would greatly benefit from the added detail.
  3. So I'm guessing this means a standard Vision instead of Spectral Vision? I guess that could work if it gets the full detailing that a CMF figure gets. If the base color for the head was Sand Green instead of Magenta, and we got duel molded legs and possibly printed arms and cape detailing, that would be a reasonably substantial upgrade from the current version we have, which I believe also has some subtle inaccuracies due to being based on concept art. The head was fixed for the Civil War wave onwards, but the rest was left unchanged from the Age of Ultron minifigure
  4. I believe the ones that have been confirmed/hinted at so far are: Spider-Man, Peter Parker, J. Jonah Jameson, Black Cat, Daredevil, Punisher, Venom, and Mysterio. Falconfan seems to be indicating that Electro will not be included, but some form of the Sinister Six will be present. Assuming the 14+ number is accurate, there's at least six more minifigures unaccounted for.
  5. Actually, seeing as Mysterio got a comic figure the year after he got a movie figure, maybe the same will happen with Electro and we'll get both. Thinking about the potential lineup for the Daily Bugle, an ideal lineup for me at this point would be something along the lines of: Spider-Man Black Cat Daredevil Punisher Jessica Jones (This is probably the only opportunity for her to get a minifigure) Peter Parker J. Jonah Jameson Betty Brant Robbie Robertson Kingpin (Hagrid sized) Elektra Bullseye Doc Ock Venom Mysterio Rhino (bigfig, probable reuse of upcoming Thanos body with new head) Shocker Scorpion That would add up to 16 regular minifigures, 1 Hagrid sized figure, and 1 bigfig, which doesn't seem unreasonable for a $300 set.
  6. Rather disappointing that Electro won't be included in the Daily Bugle. Hopefully he'll be included somewhere next year. It'd be fun if the Sinister Six lineup was the 90's Spider-Man Animated Series lineup of Doc Ock, Mysterio, Shocker, Rhino, Chameleon, and Scorpion, with Kingpin as the benefactor.
  7. I really hope Mysterio at least gets printed/dual molded legs this time. The plain legs on the current comics version we have is my biggest issue with it.
  8. Maybe we could get the classic Sinister Six lineup? That could get us Classic Electro, plus we haven't gotten a Kraven since 2016. I'd take another Sandman if we finally got a normal, non-sand variant. Every version of Sandman so far has either been mid-transformation into sand or completely sand. Mysterio would probably be a repeat unless they gave him more printing, but Doc Ock and Vulture could be new variants. Or perhaps LEGO will go with some other lineup. I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.
  9. Personally, I'd have no problem with getting 4 CMF series a year, especially if we're only getting 12 minifigures per series now. I guess we'll have to wait and see exactly how LEGO intends to go about taking advantage of their new ability to use the Marvel license for CMF waves. It will definitely be interesting to see how LEGO handles representing the Disney+ shows next year. I have no clue how many of the upcoming series will have scenes/vehicles that would translate into interesting sets, and also no clue what reference materials LEGO would be provided for the shows. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special could be represented in the next advent calendar, perhaps. Either way, we should already be getting a lot of MCU based sets next year. In terms of movies alone, we're scheduled to get Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther II, and Captain Marvel 2 (2022). If the Infinity Saga line continues into next year, which seems very plausible, that would mean even more sets. Next year should be a big year for the theme, but considering it will be the 10th anniversary of both the Avengers movie and the LEGO Marvel Superheroes line, it seems fitting.
  10. I wonder if Marvel Disney+ CMF series could become yearly with how many different series are going to be released. If a Marvel Disney+ Series 2 were released next year, it could encompass Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk.
  11. Quidditch World Cup? Most other unmade versions would probably fit better in sets. Azkaban seems like it's going to have a role in the Hogwarts Legacy game, which may or may not help it's chances of getting a set later on, but I'd be surprised if that were anytime soon.
  12. I wonder what lineup we could see for the Disney+ series. Should we expect equal minifigures from each of the four series? If so, my picks for a 12 minifigure series would be: WV: Scarlet Witch, Agatha Harkness, Spectral Vision TFATWS: Falcon, Bucky, Zemo Loki: Loki (obviously), possibly Mobius and one other What If?: Star-Lord (T'Challa), Zombie Captain America, Dark Doctor Strange
  13. I wonder if the Black Cat minifigure would look better with the arms and legs from the CMF Series 18 Cat Costume Girl. If Scarlet Witch is in the CMF, that would support the theory of the CMF being Disney+ based, which would line up with Falconfan implying that no Iron Man would be included in the series.
  14. Eh, while a new helmet mold for Black Panther would have been nice, at least that means Killmonger won't look obsolete. Really the most important part is getting confirmation we're getting a purple glow variant. The 2018 glow variant figure being blue always did bug me. Anyways, I feel like an unmasked T'Challa head could still show up in the CMF, or if they revisit the Black Panther movie with more Infinity Saga sets next year.
  15. That would make sense. If they could reuse that mold for Kingpin, then any available budget for new molds for the Bugle could be used for something else (ideally comic Electro's mask at least)
  16. I feel like Kingpin is likely, considering he's a prominent foe of Spider-Man, Daredevil and Punisher, all of whom are in the set. I feel like Comic Electro has a decent shot of showing up too, considering he seems to have a lot of demand for him. Plus it would be weird if the DUPLO figure was the only representation of that design we ever get. I'm not sure if Lizard would require too many new molds, but the rest shouldn't need new molds (Hammerhead can use the Frankenstein headpiece like his design in LMSH2) Hopefully a decent number are included with the Bugle, as I'm not sure if LEGO would be likely include them in regular sets in the future otherwise.
  17. Hmm, I wonder if the second building will be the Nelson and Murdock Law Office. We're getting 14+ figures, and we currently know about half of them (Spider-Man, Peter Parker, J. Jonah Jameson, Daredevil, Punisher, Black Cat, and Venom.) I could see Betty Brant and Robbie Robertson being included to populate the Bugle. Maybe Eddie Brock too. As for villains, Kingpin seems like a likely option, considering he's a foe of Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Punisher. Scorpion has ties to Jameson, so I could see him being included. If Robertson is Included, I could see Tombstone being included as well considering their history. I do hope we get Classic Electro and Comic Shocker, considering how prominent those designs are.
  18. If we get a new version, I personally would hope for the Mac Gargan Venom. Either way, the Bugle continues to sound more and more promising. It's looking increasingly more likely that the Ultimate Bridge Battle will finally be dethroned as the best Spider-Man set (at least in my opinion) I do hope the build itself uses the Flatiron Building design, as I think that would make for a more interesting looking set overall. We do have precedent for movie designs making their way into otherwise non-movie sets (Rhino from 76037, and Mysterio's drones from 76174 being the most notable examples)
  19. Could they be from the accessory pack? Not sure where else they could show up otherwise, assuming they're real.
  20. If that's true, something tells me there's going to be a lot of cards for sale online once these sets are released. Hopefully there's no super rare cards.
  21. Wizard Cards sound neat. Would definitely appreciate getting those. Personally, I wouldn't mind a D2C Gringotts being based on the first movie. We could get a decent number of goblins from that, plus an underground section of the build could still feature a mine cart and track, as well as at least two vaults (Potter vault and Stone vault) The Lestrange vault and the Ironbelly dragon could easily fill out a second set later on, whenever they start doing DH sets.
  22. I certainly wouldn't complain if they were based on that. Of course that would make a bigfig Kingpin even more of a needed inclusion.
  23. Trying to figure out all those hints... The total number of minifigures making up for "a series of missed opportunities" implies a CMF series level number of at least 12 minifigures for the Daily Bugle, most of which should be new characters to make up for the constant repeats of characters in Spider-Man sets that many have complained about. Falconfan's hint of "A series that would help explain another series and why it is what it is" leads me to believe the CMF series is a Disney+ MCU based one. A CMF-level selection of minifigures for the Bugle should satisfy a lot of people who were wanting a comics-based CMF series, and it would fit Falconfan's hint that Iron Man will not be included in the CMF. Plus, didn't someone (CM4Sci?) imply that LEGO would be releasing a Wandavision Scarlet Witch as a minifigure, or am I misremembering? It would make more sense for Wandavision to be represented as part of a CMF than as a set, especially considering we only seem to be getting one Disney+ set this year. Alternatively, it could be a Spider-Man CMF, which would also fit Iron Man not being included, and would go with the Bugle D2C.
  24. Looks like the new Captain Marvel is up on #legoleaks EDIT: Wait, it looks like a fake leak account. Dang. In other news, the Chitauri head looks great! Can't wait to see how the rest looks. Hopefully it has leg printing like the 2012 version.
