Seriously impressed with these latest additions on Firestar - wonder how the blue squadron arms will work on the u-wing pilots (with dark tan printing) though. Wonder if we’ll see some snowspeeder arms in the future? Dont have a picture to hand but I got some of the Greedo arms which look great and don’t require a multi purchase that’ll break the bank! Props to Firestar tho - hope the trend continues!

All the MOC’s in this thread are fantastic - I’ll definately be making one for my collection, so thanks for the inspiration! If you use the head the right way up you could perhaps thread a silver screwdriver utility piece through it so the handle’s just poking out the top to excentuate the cone shape and also balance out the silver pieces a bit.

I tried these but prefer the dual-moulded ones with the boot details above. Although I’ve just noticed the new range trooper legs which are white on the sides - may look slightly better? Don’t have the figure yet tho to try - anyone able to...?

I didn’t know that - I was slightly disappointed when the other jedi in the pack turned out to be Barriss Offee and not Coleman Trebor (as was initially rumoured), but this mould certainly makes it better - can’t wait to try it out on the Emperor, Shadow Guards and Unduli - also possibly Sith Anakin, ROTJ Luke and Darth Maul (all with the addition of a black hood)

They'll be so much better than the 65 slope for many a figure - a very welcome and overdue mould!! :)

Does anyone know whether the new skirt pieces are the same height as standard legs?

They are all minifigure heavy sets though which included various exclusive figs - the other 3 sets which you mention are the more recent sets that have tended to only include 1-3 figs (Slave / TIE / Snow), so the recent trend for minifigure light UCS sets has been to add these additional details - especially evident with Boba and subsequent releases in smaller sets that didn't include arm printing. I agree it's not earth shattering but as has been discussed recently on (I think) this thread, the premium price Lego charges for its ABS, I think it's a fair expectation to want premium printing on occasion.

Nice one thanks, found it... Must say, slightly underwhelmed by the lack of anything new re arms, head or anything else. Even the helmet, given its the 3rd version we've had, is slightly disappointing - not grey enough, not enough grey, dimensions slightly off and missing a couple of details and colours on the side and back. That said, pleased for the seeming confirmation of a UCS Y-Wing and I'll still buy the set as it's one of my favourite ships. Maybe they're saving the added minifig details for Biggs!?!... it would really be inexcusable for him not to have a tache!

Agreed, personally I think Garven Dries and his red astromech would be more fitting of a UCS set...

That would be great - some unique printing on that helmet! A Norra Wexley figure would be awesome to!

I realise now it's cos it's a Rebels set - frustrating as on the back of it being the latest a-wing pilot, I ordered a few of the brighter green figures. Kicking myself a bit now though as the darker green does seem to be a better representation. Oh well... :/ Thanks for your input!

I'm loving these - great idea with the captain, skirt and (highwayman?) legs. Has inspired me to put together a Naboo collection!

Are TLG definitely finished with Rebels sets, does anyone know? Not a huge fan of the show but S3-4 have included some great characters - there's so many cool minifigure opportunities, and as series 4 continues to blend with overall saga I feel the show and the characters have gained some significance in my eyes - would be a shame if TLG didn't release at least one more wave....

Hey, thanks for your comments and suggestions. Personally I'm not sure Saw's beard is bushy or long enough to warrant a separate beard piece, but I do agree this beard's too trim. I think I'm gonna order the B.A. Baracus figure - see how that head looks - quite pricey but I also want the afro mohawk hairpiece for a CW Saw - I suppose Mr T is quite fitting actually, as upon the destruction of Jedha.. Saw weren't gettin' on no plane!! =D

TWP has kindly given a breakdown above, but to confirm anyway - plus I've changed / added a couple of pieces as well: Hair: Patty Tolan Face and Torso: Karl Mordo Armour: Nexo Knights (plus a BrickForge Pauldron - so no longer purist) Hips: Rogue (CMF S16) Right Leg: Frightening Knight (CMF S15) Left Leg: Dark Green Wizard (the dual molded dark green and brown leg from earlier post is also from the Rogue minifigure) Accessories: Short Dark Red Cape and Scuba Mask clip onto the back of the armour / Black hilt and Black bar with white ends (from Magician (CMF S1)) In the absence of a decent teal colour from TLG, it's a toss up between blue and green - I opted for green, but there's a trans dark blue armour available which might be worth trying out - I love the fact it lets some detailing through the armour.

Hi, I see this thread hasn't been added to for years but for a few weeks now now I've been consistently having connection issues - possibly 90% of the time I try to load/reload a page on Eurobricks I get an error message that the server has unexpectedly dropped connection - it only happens with this website and is immensely frustrating. Anyone able to offer any advice on this? Thanks!
