Just finished binging The Mandalorian. Loved it, it got better and better and I can't wait for the 2nd series! Lots of great character's and locations but not an abundance of vehicle's which might make squeezing all the key character's into sets slightly difficult. Here's my two pence worth for potential future sets (in chronological order)...
-
If you're happy with 3rd party parts - Arealight helmet, BrickArms Weapons, eclipseGRAFX hands, and I'm waiting (hoping!) on Firestar for some printed arms. Also I'd be surprised if Lego didn't release more sets in the future, so possible we'll get a version of the Mandalorian in his black and silver armour as well.

Tried the first episode but decided it was aimed too much for a younger audience. That said I quite liked the range of colours among the characters and ships - certainly vary from the usual SW palette! I felt Lego maybe missed an opportunity to release a couple of different sets from the show- for example the Green Ace and Blue Ace (with Hype Fazon and Torra Doza respectively) would've stood out as a couple of cool and unique sets (and figs) within the SW theme imo. Not sure how popular the sets have been, or whether Lego intends to release anymore from the show (???) but I'd like to put together a collection of the main characters alongside some Mini builds - I'll start with these excellent versions, so thanks! Any chance of the rest of Ace Squadron as Mini builds?

If you're interested in customs - astarbricks does a fantastic custom EV-9D9 and 8D8.

The hands are from eclipseGRAFX (www.eclipsebricks.com) - based in the US. I ordered several pairs for some of the Cloud-Riders (including Enfys Nest!) - they offer a nice finishing touch imo - just about worth the shipping (to the UK)! The trench coat is from CapeMadness, the Loincloth from Arealight and the rifle from BrickForge (in dark brown) The pearl dark grey arms add a lot as well I think

My take on Benthic 'Two Tubes' - the Ten Numb head and Ultron neck brace was a combo used by someone earlier in this thread I believe.

Not sure but you’re probably right. Might have to wait several months after release until they’re potentially available in bulk on BL or something... Amazing collection! Do you know if that Jaldine Gerams helmet will be sold on Firestar??

The leaked Stranger Things legs should work nicely on the Geonosian Warriors and Poggle the Lesser...

Really useful. Thanks for sharing!

It's an excellent headpeice - pleased there's a decent SW use for it. Thanks! Might try it with a custom Toga from Firestar as well... Where's Leia's blaster from?
-
I suspected that may be the case - they look really good!
-
Pretty much perfect! :) Where are Luke’s arms from?
-
The Scrooge McDuck arms look like a great fit for the Bespin Guard!
-
Ah yes of course - it’s tan right - looks like a good addition to the variety of rebel helmets!
-
Great line up!! Is that rebel pilot someone specific? Upcoming Firestar release? Also saw a leak of a new Harry Potter with DBG short legs - add a couple of black studs to each leg to give Bail an extra stud in height - reckon that could look decent!..
-
Love this! I used the same head for my Cloud Rider Mimban. Great representation of the foliage/camouflage on his back!

Excellent, my favourite ever film, so look forward to seeing this!

I contacted Lego last week, and agree with the notion that their customer service was/is exemplary. Unfortunately it seems I missed the boat slightly and they were only able to send me the helmet as the head was showing as out of stock - better than nothing as can still put a Finch like figure together. However I then bit the bullet and regretfully/worryingly bought one off eBay for (a relatively cheap) £65 - no doubt the figure will be released in a Resistance Bomber Microfighter in the near future and I'll grow to loathe my insane purchase, but hey ho :) In terms of those without a figure, I got the impression from the rep I spoke to that it may be worth continuing to contact customer services in the future, as they "may release another batch" - perhaps they've stopped sending out all the parts presently to counter chancers etc - perhaps when the hype's died down the parts will become available again!?!

***Leg print whinge alert*** Excited to see Antilles - he's a figure I've resisted buying as I'm fairly happy with the custom I've put together, but I can't wait to get my hands on that rank insignia torso, lovely! Also very excited as to what the figure might represent set wise! However the figure overall is a bit disappointing due to it's apparent lack of any leg printing - not fully clear from the image, and if it turns out to have dark tan / reddish brown dual-moulds I'll eat my words, but I'll also eat my hat if that's the case. It's been 10 years since the original figure was released, and the marginal update to torso and face is a bit lame imo. Similar to the Fleet trooper - great to have the update but yet again, in a galaxy far far away little to no emphasis below the belt. Come on Lego :/ I love diorama sets, but the Star Killer dual looks slightly unfinished to me, would benefit from a few more inches too the trees to give a greater sense of scale - easy one to mod so will probably pick it up still... -
Brilliant - captures the clunky chunky look perfectly!

Zuckuss pretty flawless - exactly what you’d hope for. Well chuffed with that!! -

Without wanting to be too tediously hateful towards TLJ, that was one of many many dreadful scenes in the film, but that Finn figure is really really cool - perfect kind of exclusive figure for the book imo. Now, Zuckuss... show yourself!!! -

Hi, it's where two different colours have been moulded together. With Minifigures you can get dual-moulded legs, helmets and arms. -

Nice one for chasing up the Finch Dallow issue - very frustrating. On a positive note, so excited for Zuckuss, and the new Scout Trooper helmet is fantastic!!
