    Checkmate

Man Law #6. Every man shall allow one empty urinal of separation in a bathroom with three or more urinals; law is void if there are dividers in between each urinal.
  4. Maybe a LDD Build and a Actual Build category for those that don't use LDD?
  5. I am thinking more along the lines of what was done for the Minifig Contest. No one would have to ship anything anywhere. Basically the idea being that they could theoretically be joined together into a shopping mall. ~LCM
  6. Inspired by HeLena's Starbucks Kiosk and lightningtigers mall I had an idea (perhaps a contest) involving the EB Town forum. Anyone who likes could create a vignette of a mall store or kiosk There would be 2 categories an 8x8 Category and an 8x16 Category. Each "vig" must be able to attach to another on using a Technic pin in the 4-5 position on the 8x side. Each Vig would depict a store in the Eurobricks mall. Is this a crazy idea or is this something that sounds like fun? ~LCM
  7. wow, I can't even begin to describe how beautiful this is. The level of detail is supurb. It really feels like I am sitting there waiting for the train to come in those pictures. The one you describe as your favorite, is mine as well. Feels like something out of an old time movie. You can almost picture a guy running down the trackside yelling for his love as the train slowely leaves the station. I would love to see that same shot in Black & White Film Noir style. Brick On! ~LCM
  8. Nice park. Needs a picnic table and a grill though. ;) ~LCM
  9. I wondered if you'd get that joke ;) Brick on
  10. and now you see what sits on top of that Crazy Colored Contraption. Here it is with the team from Imperial Construction working on the building Why will you never see the crazy colors? There's still 1 part coming that will tie this in with the First part of the new MOC. Meanwhile, I decided to take a visit to my town, where I ran into Shaun, the owner of Lightning Hardware and his Dog. He and I got to discussing knives, I was proudly displaying mine when he said "You call that a knife" and proceeded to put mine to shame. ~LCM
  11. Here's the next part of the arangement, But you'll never see it in the town layout. ;) Brick On! ~LCM
  12. Looks Great, Maybe a [park with some trees in that lower triangle across the street from the engineering store. ~LCM
  13. Nope, Keep Guessing. I think I have solved the seating issue in the theater. Going with the seating idea from the Town Plan. Placed my first ever bricklink order. Can you guess what I ordered from the pictures? Here's the first row installed. Brick on! and as always, questions, comments, suggestions, and criticisms welcome. ~LCM
  14. So much detail, 3 different builders, 3 different styles and it all comes together perfectly. Congrats! A wonderful work all the way around. ~LCM

  21. Thank You to the EB Staff and Community for the great community you've built here. I really enjoy coming here every day and seeing everyone's creations. I've made some great friends here and hope to make many more. I heard there's a tradition where on special post counts you have to make a special MOC. So here's my 100th post MOC. Thank You ~LCM
  22. B-OM-19C As noted in another thread the Hardware store went thru a major renovation today. After the it was noted that the Red Storefront with the red sidewalk I made some changes. We now have a White storefront with Red accents. I'm not 100% on the inverted arch now. That might change. The back of the store got an addition. The cashiere and employee area is situated here now. The backdoor now opens into the alley in the rear. The Acetylene and Propane tanks have been moved inside the store for refills and there are now gauges indicating the need for refills at the rear. It also features rooftop access from the employee area. The ceiling height has been expanded and a shelf added over the cash register. The front of the store remains unchanged except for the color. I think the addition of white to areas of the interior really opens the space up and makes if feel a lot larger than it actually is. The extra band of white also helps to draw the eyes up making the space seem larger. Brick On! and as always, questions, comments, suggestions, and criticisms welcome. ~LCM
  23. Receiving a major renovation and face-lift. ;)
  24. With Sports cards here is how I've done it. In the box there would be an envelope with each recipients name on it. I usually write a note to them and also include the Priority Address Label for them to put on the box with the next recipients address already printed. This reduces the hassle of waiting for the next person to PM them. Each recipient would be expected to ship the box within 7 days of receipt. Exceptions are handled on an as needed basis as long as the recipient keeps in touch with the rest of the group via the group thread. As far as Values go, I would hope that anyone who wishes to be involved will be honest with themselves. I will not post a list of the beginning contents of the box. The box will be filled with elements of various themes. Half the fun is getting the box and going thru it's contents. The idea of the box is not for anyone to try to make money on it. The idea is to pass on elements that may not fit your style of building to someone else who may need them. I like to think of it as being similar to the "Pay It Forward" thread here except that you get the fun of going thru a whole BOX instead of just a post. I've actually started building the box and it's actually really fun going thru tons of tubs pulling out stuff I haven't used in ages and think people will really enjoy. I've also got a neat idea going on in my head as a box activity. (I like to include a box activity as well.) If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. ~LCM
  25. Here's my thoughts after looking over the BrickTuts site. Bricktuts has been around since May. They seem to be focused on LDD and BrickFlics. Why would they have a list of the S6 minifigs before more established sits like Brick Brothers or FBTB? I am going to go ahead and now say I believe this list to be bunk. Are the guys who run BrickTuts on EB? I'd like to know their Rumor Source. ~LCM
