So, the train station is "done" for now. A bit more detailing and some track eventually.
Stairs up to the platform.
The clock over the doorway into the station.
What's this the back of the station is OPEN???
There will eventually be a fence on the platform and you'll get on the train from inside the station.
Some glass block on the backside letting light in
The Ticket Counter and behind it the Station Masters desk and storage areas
Comments, Questions, and Suggestions always welcomed.

The park is taking longer than I expected, However I have begun work on a train station which incorporates a large amount of Lime bricks. Also I am starting planning on a Service Station. One that's not in LT's poll. Based off this.

OK all,
I added 3 classic style aircraft wheels to the under carriage of the speeder and added many Trans-Clear 1x2's as a skirting underneath it to give it that classic "blurred" look underneath.

The mod is more of a joke than anything, If you can remember the original Star Wars before the Special Editions and the Remastered Digital Editions you'll get it.

This is the first Star Wars set I've ever bought. It's the only one that's just jumped out and yelled "BUY ME!" when I saw it. I brought it home and put it together. A Classic set of an instantly recognizable scene in the Original Trilogy. However something was missing to give it that classic feel so I modded it just a bit.
Enjoy

I would love to see a big hospital set ($100 range) like the Police Station and then smaller Add-On sets for an ER with a waiting room, maybe a lobby, Helipad with a helicopter.
Have each set add onto the main set.
That would be a cool idea.

$9.99 for a S3 Racecar Driver (without the helmet) with 5 Plastic Quote Bubbles. No thanks. Now maybe if it had a S1 Minifig like the Brick Calender did, I might consider it.

Here's a feature in my town I don't think I've shown/discussed much. The Stoneford Park.
You can see the water tower near the Stone Creek.
The creek flows into a cistern under the bridge where it is pumped up into the water tower to be processed for use in the city.
Here you can see a Civil War era cannon in the park under the memorial tree honoring the citizens of Stoneford who fought in all conflicts.
A small pier jetties into the river so people can sit and watch the water or simply do a bit of fishing. On the opposite side of the river a wall to keep the river from flooding out the town if the water level rises.
Here you can see where the park fits in the town, right next to the beverage store.
Our Zoo has an "Outback Exhibit" which features a train station with a train that runs thru the area. The station was based on a real station in Australia and was rebuilt at a smaller size. Would love to see something like it in your town if you feel it fits.
(Not sure how big this pic is. If this image shows up too large I will resize it manually and edit the post.)
