  1. Great thanks :) Arocs is still my all time favourite Lego set.
  2. If the W16 engine was made on a smaller scale, e.g. like the Mack Anthem engine, could it have more realistic details, only a single crank shaft, and save space that could be used to add other functions?
  3. Sariel just married the car.
  4. I've got Sariel's build running in the background while I'm building the Mack Anthem :)
  5. Look at Sariel's comment in the video detail box where he corrects himself. He probably just didn't have enough time to fix the video.
  6. At least that reviewer was honest and said that he didn't really understand how the gear box worked. :)
  7. Sariel is doing a Chiron live build starting in about an hour: https://www.facebook.com/events/251909285371241/?notif_t=plan_reminder&notif_id=1527841471404111
  8. There will be a live build of the Chiron starting in just over 3 hours from now. (11:30 AM Central Europe time).
  9. The live stream is about to start!
  10. Well I'll be getting 42082. The suggested retail price in Australia will be around $400, whereas the Chiron in Australia will be $500 or maybe even $550. I prefer the Power Functions of 42082 and the enormous size.
  11. Is the engine placed directly above the gear box?
  12. Once the countdown clock timer reaches 0 will there be some kind of a live event from Bilund introducing the model? I mean this timer: https://www.lego.com/en-us/themes/technic/bugatti-chiron
  13. I got mine last week. Now I just need some free time to actually open it!
  14. It doesn't bother me if the outriggers don't actually lift the crane up. Just as long as the small LAs work to extend the outriggers and place them down reliably then I think that will be a nice function.
  15. Given that Arocs has now been retired, any chance that 42083 could be the Mercedes-AMG GT R: https://www.mercedes-amg.com/en/vehicles/gt/coupe/gt-r.html It was released last year, It has a dual turbo V8 and a 7 speed gear box. It also has 4 wheel steering which would be interesting in a Technic super car. It has adjustable active suspension, and variable under body aerodynamics. It also comes in green. :)
  16. Since we can now speculate a little, does anyone think any of the H2 2018 sets will include instructions for power functions upgrades?
  17. I don't think the price is right. I think it is more like 2500 - 3000 pieces. I think it will be cheaper than 42070 because of fewer power functions (no remote, switch, no M motor) and 2 less tyres. I thin it will be 200 Euros or around $300 Australian dollars.
  18. Does anyone think that the circular blade on 42080 will spin? If so, how could that be achieved?
  19. I've bought all of these sets this year. In Australian Dollars, I paid $248 for the Arocs, $175 for the Claas, and $150 for Extreme Adventure. They are all great sets, but the one I enjoyed the most is the Arocs; even though it was the most expensive. It is just a wonderful fun building experience and final result with so many functions that all work well. It is the best Lego set I have ever owned. The other two are very nice, but I think Arocs is a Lego classic that only comes around once every few years.
