  3. Sorry, I won't be around those nothern lands in that period. Just out of curiosity, what other parts of Europe will you visit?
  4. This is going way too far, Dr. X. While the images you use may be hilarious, the repeated bumping of a thread is definetly annoying With each of your bumps, you move down other members' topics that deserve as much attention as yours. If nobody is interested in your stuff, please accept it and try other channels to sell your LEGO. Do it again, and I'll have to close this thread.
  5. Nice Classic-Town set, and nice restoration of it. Thanks for sharing, Tyrann. P.S. - Could you please reduce the pics size to 800 pixels maximum, as by our Guidelines? Thank you.
  6. Wow, this is another superb creation by you, ISC The multi-level tree-house is very nicely done, and the foliage is used in a very clever way to make it more organic. Seeing the large and thick second level (especially well seen in the first pic) branches, I have a question: have you tried using some boat/ship hull parts to make them, or are those all too large for it? And then, where do I have to sign to partecipate in next year's camp?
  7. Simple and neat design, with some very innovative (at least for me ) techniques, like the windows' glasses for the ice/water puddles on the mountain side. Thanks for sharing, TheWarden!
  8. Very nice and action packed MOC, RobinBobinTheGreat! I like how the houses have two slightly different styles in the upper stores building, and the 'fire arrow' technique is indeed interesting
  9. Very creative MOC, HAGGAR! Thanks for sharing This is a period full of love in the LEGO world, it seems P.S. - Could you please make sure that all the pics are 800 pixels maximum, as by our Guidelines? Thank you.
  10. This is just hilarious, Kubik-Rubik I love how the dog gets bigger and bigger, much like the old 'there's always a bigger fish' say. Also, the two tiles for the torn trousers' leg work very well.
  11. I think he means a 4x3 panel
  12. Neat design, Commander Tac! Even if its appearance and weaponry clearly mark it as a combat mech, its posture reminds me of the animated dolls in '9' (which is not bad at all ) for some reason
  13. Another great MOC from one of the princes of the Town theme I find these creations very inspiring, especially the use of parts like the decoration around the clock on the tower, and the lovely fringe on the awning, so originally different from the LEGO design we have seen so many times in recent years.
  14. Nice review, The Cobra! Thanks for bringing back memories of such a great era, and of a theme my sister loved so much she eventually 'infected' me too
  15. Welcome to Eurobricks Klementina! You sure know your share on MOCing Have a nice time here!
  16. Please avoid re-viving old topics (8 months old in this case), and especially do not do that if you have such an attitude. Since the end of the Bionicle theme is a reality and no more a discussion topic, I'll close this thread.
  17. I think it's because of the hand's position: they tilted (maybe even cut the back 'stick' part) it so that the tatoo is more visibile and it is in an un-natural position for a LEGO minifigure
  18. First of all, I'd like to say all the entries show great creativity and I wish I had more points to give. Then a big thank you to Superkalle for planning and organizing this superb contest, the first of its kind here on EB! Now to the votes: 1 point to Designer: gotoAndLego EntryID: 205 Name: Modular Bridge & Watchtower Colour changes apart (I probably like the actual bricks' scheme the best ), a very nice and inspiring creation 1 point to Designer: sparkart EntryID: 210 Name: Exo-suit from District 9 Very good rendition of the Jeep and Suit, which looks really sturdy in actual bricks, too, a feat not always easy to accomplish 1 point to Designer: captaintuddle EntryID: 219 Name: Modular Bank I'd love to have a bank like that, and I can see it fit most table town displays Honorable mention Designer: vynsane EntryID: 214 Name: Phoenix Corp. Fireball Do you know where I can buy one of these IRL? You know, I'm tired of my commuter train!
  19. First of all, I'd like to say all the entries show great creativity and I wish I had more points to give. Then a big thank you to Superkalle for planning and organizing this superb contest, the first of its kind here on EB! Now to the votes: 1 point to Designer: SolidBrick EntryID: 104 Name: Farm House Something I'd really like to see from TLG 1 point to Designer: Shekana Le - Lego EntryID: 126 Name: Vietnamese Bus Really nice and creative use of the decorated pieces for an ever-green vehicle 1 point to Designer: Bojan Pavsic EntryID: 146 Name: Circus Arena Sentimental reason: this so much reminds me of an old ideas' book I loved as a kid!
  20. Well, even if I don't particoulary like people so heavily tatoo-ed, these are some amazing designs, and those who made them must have really steady hands I wonder about the ink permanence vs MF manipulation, though, with such an extensive and fine painting; they are probably best for exposition only.
  21. Well, let's close this little of-topic discussion on periods, shall we. In the end, the presence of a real, wanted or un-wanted typo can make these some very special collcetion items, much like misprinted stamps
  22. My vote is for: Immolation- the end of Anakin Skywalker by Fat Tony It's one of the most intense moments in all the SW saga to me, full of heavy emotions and I think it was depicted in a great way. Plus, the lighting effect and the lava building technique really add to this creation.
  23. Thanks for clearing the mistery
  24. Plaese post your sigfigures in the existing dedicated topic in Community. I know it's a bit old, but it's the best place for this sort of things I'll close this thread now.
  25. Hi Capt.JohnPaul, I think most of the answers to your last question are in this topic about using Sculpey in customisation. P.S.: the other site you refer to is probably the Minifig Customization Network
