Nice design and ingenious use of parts Very well done, Primus!

Here you go with a handy link

Here we go BlueBard and Paulie: Tardis sign for 4x1 tile Holy Roman Empire torso V.1, V.2 and V.3 Poland torso V.1 and V.2 Venice winged lion torso V.1 and V.2 Milan serpent V.1, V.2 and V.3 Historical note - for some reason, the Poland flag as an inverted shape with respect to the actual ones (i.e., bird faces right instead of left); I'm not sure if this orientation may have any meaning (some inverted flags meant defeat or grief). Enjoy and let me know if there's anything which needs to be changed.

No trouble at all. I just think they will get the deserved attention there too, by all those who like this kind of original creations, but do not expect to see them in the MCW, where they seldom step in
-
I may give these a try tomorrow, along with the Tardis plate. That would be the winged lion of San Marco (sorry, no English link), actually

Very nice and original creations, MetroiD! for the Otters! As these are not actual LEGO mini-figs, though, I'll move this topic to community as soon as it reaches page 2, ok?

The Penguin's Batman Minifigures. )
LuxorV replied to The Penguin's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
It's nice to see so great enthusiasm for a nice topic like this, but I feel a couple of things have to be clear: Please avoid posting in all caps; it is annoying and it is equivalent to shouting . And please cut a bit on the rumbling posts. As I said before, they may be nice and funny from time to time, but they get tiresome very fast at the rate you spread them. Thank you. A minor note here: to avoid doubling the loading time of a page, please do not quote a whole post with images (especially image heavy ones like these). A good solution can be quoting the post, but replacing the image links with *image* or something like that. Thanks -
Nice picture, Courleciel. Would you mind adding a bit of text about the parts you used, your inspiration source/material and things like that? Thank you

Neat mech, Righteous Squid. I immediately recognised the similarity with Grand Titan's alternate, but the modifications are evident, too. My favourite part is the cockpit, since it's totally enclosed and very well armoured; a great advancement when compared with the original design. The legs look indeed a bit too 'skinny', but you probably had limited parts choice?

Any suggestions for how to use KK2 colored knights?
LuxorV replied to Shroffy123's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I often see them as nice parade or 'party' armours for high rankes knights in the king's court, either worn by minifigs or displayed in the castle halls. -
Custom made machine gunner
LuxorV replied to Daniel Williams's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Would you mind adding a list of the parts you used for others' reference, and credit for the custom items (are those all BA?)? Thanks -
How do I put a link in a picture?
LuxorV replied to BrickClick's topic in Forum Information and Help
It's just like adding a link to a text: you select/highlight the picture code and then use the add link button to insert the URL. Code: -
Thank you We'll be waiting to see them.
-
Great job as always, Joebot! Can't wait to read next issue
-
Could you please try to retake the pictures so that they are less blurry: one can hardly see any detail in the current ones. Maybe you should try the macro option on your camera, indicared by this symbol
-
You may try this template by yeroc I found on Brickshelf (simply write trenchcoat template and start the search ).

Where to get my hands on the cigars
LuxorV replied to tchuk-norst's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
As JCC1004 said, in most cases they are made by cutting a portion of a Bar 4L Lightsaber Blade piece in a proper colour. -
Do you have a picture of it? Without reference material, I fear I cannot work out the right proportions; it would be easier and faster for you to make some tryouts on the actual thin leather, or on paper first.
-
Completed. Best of luck for your thesis work!
-
Oh, I get it now: after acquiring Marvel, Disney has got into the Fabuland Edge affair, too!
-
Very interesting composition, lego-maniac! This is probably the largest theatre-like MOC I've ever seen, and you made a wonderful job in building it.
-
Is this one the 'hooded cloak' you're looking for? If so, just tell me (or give me a reference picture of the one you want) and I'll try to get you a template for it (please specify the file format you need: a raster like .jpg, .png and .gif, or a vectorial like Corel's .cdr?).
-
For a moment, before reading the sub-title, I though you were referring to this World of Tomorrow Really nice display: it clearly shows the time and dedication you put into it
-
As prateek already said, that's BrickForge's stuff right away P.S. - I'll move this topic to the Minifig Customisation Workshop, where it belongs

Thanks for sharing, woody64. Seeing you carry on this project for so long is always inspiring As you know, we are no fans of duplicate topics in different parts of the forums. The best suggestion I can give you is to put a nice and visible add for this topic in your signature, and to post comments or MOCs in the Pirates forum, maybe even directly advertising this discussion in your posts where pertaining.
