Minifig Customization Workshop 2010 Contest Prizes
LuxorV replied to LuxorV's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
As I said previously, these are all assortments of accessories that span the entire BrickArms line-up. This means that every single item BA has in the store right now (and then some) is represented in multiples and in a variety of colours. No 'leftovers' here, just pure BA bounty for the lucky winners to take home -

Here are my votes (unfortunately I cannot spend more votes on all these incredible entries!): 1 point to Pharaoh Entry (Build by Cusm) 1 point to Skier Entry (Build by Yatkuu) 1 point to Skier Entry (Build by Ritz Brick) Thanks WitheFang for organising this contest and thank you to all the entrants for showing us your creativity -
Forgive me, I was just playing around with you The answer is: because every contest has its own rules. We do not have a 'standard' for contests, and, if you check the LEGO SW forum (just an example), you'll notice that also there the entries have their own separate topics. This is meant to let people free to comment on the entries in the dedicated topics and leave the contest discussion one free and more readable.

Amazing entry, The Penguin The race starts well and the competition will be a hard one for sure, with this level of entires! P.S.: I have to ask you to re-take the 'entry pic #2' so that Waylon is right in front of the camera instead of 3/4, as by the rules. Sorry for the incovenience, and thank you

Would you mind to elaborate a bit: which characters, from which series? Do you have reference pictures? That sort of things P.S.: Please check your punctuation and capitalisation in future posts. Thank you

Randall goes to Comic Con!
LuxorV replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Very interesting introduction, tin7! It's always nice to see your great customs, and using them as eye-candies into this little story makes them even more appealing I'll be waiting to see how this entry evolves. -
Hi jokster, you seem to be new to our Minifig Customisation Workshop, so welcome! Please, from now on, always refer to this dedicated thread for decal requests. It will help us in keeping the forum neat and clean. Thank you Now I'll close this topic, to prevent further argument on this 'misplacement'

Unlike many other vig contests, I'd like you to stay exactly in the 8x8 limit. Let's see these in order: - the 5th picture can be that of your 'alternate version' of the minifig; - any detailed pictures of the entering vig can still be showcased via a link to a folder on Brickshelf, Flickr or whatever photo-sharing site you prefer; - As you said in the 'Edit', the rules require just one custom fig: the one with the costume; any other figs will not be considered part of the entry. I hope things are a bit less foggy now
-
Yes, you can. But they won't be eligible for the voting. Please make clear which is the actual entry. If things become too complicated, you'll be asked to move the 'other versions' to separate topics. You can use other figs in the vignette, as long as they are normal (made of only official LEGO parts) minifigures. To sum up: only one custom per entry! Thanks everybody for pointing out these details.
