If you can still find it, or buy from secondary market (not too expensive on BL, for example), there's the Bride from the Collectible Minifigs Series 7. Not sure about the 'crown', but you can probably work an alternative solution to keep the veil in place.

Thanks for sharing your experience, Scorpiox. As far as I know, the eraser method is quite known already, but few seem use it. You could experiment and see if it works the same way with different prints (old vs. new and so on). I think somebody underlined the fact that this method works quite well on wide surfaces, but is very tricky to use when you want to remove details while preserving other parts of the print. Maybe others who experimented with it can share more, too.

Hi Vamor, I removed the shop link from your post. Please understand that we do not like this kind of personal promotion on EB. The topics in the MCW should be created to showcase your work, be it MOCs (here meant as purist customs), or otherwise. To promote one's shop, there's the Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds forum. Please be sure to read the forum rules carefully to know how to post there, too. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.

I'm curious. Is there a way to successfully "edit" a lego
LuxorV replied to BrickG's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
You could start by looking at the MCW Index, which is rich of interesting tutorials, like this one on Sculpey, for example. -
vinson72, your quote may need a few words of explanation, please.

Please people, stay on topic. Do not branch out on films/movies (there's a couple of dedicated threads in Culture and Multimedia for that), and do not use inappropriate or excessive language, please, even when you see something you do not like personally. Granted, this site is for adults, but nobody says since adults shouldn't be polite/behave. Thanks all.

Interesting choice of parts in the Crimson Dynamo, especially the boxing gloves for the bigger hands.

Please stop reviving 6-years old topics. If you continue this way, you will be chambered and might get banned from the site. We try to keep our forums ordered and enjoyable for everybody, and posting in 2007 topics with comments that do not add to the discussion is only annoying as it detracts attention from currently active contents. Please keep this in mind in your future contributions to EB. Thanks for your understanding.

I do not think it can be considered right, in any case, to post insulting comments, about custom parts or anything else. Your comment could have stopped at 'the choice of using only original Lego bricks'. Please try to avoid insulting and/or provocative manners in the future. Thank you.

Please avoid reviving a year old topic like this. I'm sure the original poster will make an up-date post if he has anything new to share. Thanks for your understanding.

Please keep the Super Heroes 2013 sets' discussion in the existing topic. Thank you. I'm closing this now.

Another great job, OrcSan. I would love to have the Thing in my collection! I suppose the best way to make it would be with the rocky scales details as part of the mould, as I don't think TLG would make a full print for such a big figure, and it would look and fell better imo.

Very nice Black Panther design, OrcSan. I like how you used the Darh Maul/Savage Opress headgear idea to make the hears and keep the mask on a printed minifig head size.

Robbing from the rich; the Forestmen return!
LuxorV replied to ED-209's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
From what I know, white decal paper will make your colours look a bit lighter than what you see on screen. I never tried it, so I can't tell you how different they would be from a normal paper print. Most customisers just use clear decal paper, so that the main background colour is given by the piece you apply the decal to, and they work on fixing the colours of the details. You can find a helpful discussion on Waterslide decal paper resources in the MCW Index, along as tutorials on applying decals, clear coating and so on. Finally, I believe most customisers just try their best to get as close to the actual colour as they can, without getting mad about it. -

Yes, MS Word is (or should be, supposing we share the same version) universal in its basic settings. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about screen settings (not to mention the human eye itself and the way each individual detects smaller hue and tonality differences). Anyway, I don't think you need someone to confirm your job; you just need to be satisfied with it yourself. If you're not mass producing these as a commercial product, what suits your personal needs and requirements is what you want to achieve. -
I know this may be a bit tricky to separate at times, but please try to keep the set-oriented discussion in this topic and the film/movie-oriented discussion in the relevant topic in Culture and Multimedia. Thank you.

Please, do not revive a 3 years old topic with generic comments like this. It would be better, since your post is mainly personal and adds little to nothing to the general discussion, to contact the designer via the PM system. Thanks for your understanding.
