I tried it, and when I came to the page where you have to indicate your country, I found the first 5 or 6 were in bold, and the others normal. I chose Italy (one of the non-bold), and it changed to a new page. There it was written something like: "we have already gathered all the information we wanted. You cannot partecipate further." End of the story :-/ Now, I say, if you don't want people from some countries to partecipate, write it in the first page, or do not put a list with those countries in it. If you pretend to accept everybody, then you must accept everybody |-/ . Well, I had a little free time and tried it, but it was more a disappiontment than a plaesure :-( I hope those from the elected countries will be more fortunate 8-| LuxorV

Ok, since a new rush of intersest is shown for this tread, and since I realized (as I suspected *sad* ) that I cannot creat a pool myself, could some kind Admin or Mod create it, please :'-) ? I hope it is possible to re-insert the old votes, too 8-| . Otherwise, I'll ask those who already voted to re-express their opinion. In any case, the pool will last one month. After it closes, I'll take your choice and, based on that, build chapter 2 of the story ;-) Thanks :-$ LuxorV

I voted number 2. #1 is a bit too bulky to me, and I always wanted to see a good fighter academy or general pilot school in space sets. Good work both *y* May the best win ;-) LuxorV

Thanks, it does good to the heart when one of your creations you spent so much time and energies to build is appreciated like this *wub* :-$ Oh, I didn't have 'this kind of skills' (or had not realized I had them, yet) when I partecipated the contest. In truth, my MOCs were quite horrible, expecially compared to those by expert mecha-builders *sad* . Let's say I have now found my way in mecha-building :-$ :-P And yes, as soon as we will have a mecha contest, count me in the number :-D LuxorV

I just posted my entry :-$ . Now, here a little quiz for you *wacko* . Can you see the 6 items from the Stolen Discovery story? Who will find them all 8-| ? LuxorV

B-RV-4B Ok, so I'll open the dance :-P Here you have a view of the house and its garden I really love my fountain (even if it's hard work to keep it clean :-/ ) and the patio is just lovely to spend a summer evening *wub* Of course, a respectable house has a big fridge in it X-D Welcome in my livingroom - you want to wacth some TV? This is my room :-$ I really have to tell the designer these windows are too high |-/ ; as you can see a lance is always a handy tool, even during non-fighting times :-D Fell free to pass and have a drink some time or another ;-) More pics here. So, we're on the run again :-P I can predict you'll see more of these items soon 8-

Wow, I just finished building my house [gets off worker helmet...] Now I need to take pictures, but I'll do that tomorrow morning, hoping in a better light effect from the sun (if it won't rain all day like today |-/ ) :-$ LuxorV

Thanks, boys :-$ You're flooding me with compliments, but it was just a funny building inspired by the story and the great Dwarves Mine Review and Comic :-$ . Then I discovered Hinckley's B-day was just round the corner, so I waited a few days and posted it as a present ;-) . I'm happy you liked it so much *wub* . As for being "pretty dern smart when it comes to building a mech", I started building meches one year ago, after being ignominously beaten in all categories in the MechaHub Exo-Force Build-off Contest... |-/ :'-( I wanted to improve and see if I could reach a competitive level. And it's real fun, too :-P LuxorV

Very nice party *y* , except for the living-food *wacko* X-D Happy B-day to both! LuxorV

Nice MOCs *y* They seem junior versions of the actual Exo-Force first sets :-$ LuxorV
-
Very nice *wub* ! Acutally, I faced the same problem, but didn' come up with anything in time for the vig (I wanted to post it before somebody had the same idea :-$ ). Next version will probably get the upgrade *y* LuxorV

Happy B-day, Invaderjes, Mr. Mandalorian and Hinckley! I too have a present for Hinckley (sorry Invaderjes & Mr. Mandalorian 8-| ), here. Hope you'll enjoy it :-$ LuxorV

Suggested theme song: WolfMother - Pleased to meet you Ladies and Gentlemen (if any ;-) ), I'm here to introduce you the Ultimate Whacking Battle Machine [drum rolls] This project was originated by my first story, and is meant to by a present to Hinckley for his B-day, so I called it Hinckley Special Here is a detail of the cockpit, with Hinckley in his new suit. This piece of high-technology replaces standars controls: when you make a move, the sensors in the gap between the outer and inner layers pick it up and transmit it to the BM's control unit. The microphone and a hud display, which reads eyes' movements, complete the control system. The BM comes with its own special equipment. A big hammer is always an useful tool for professional whackers. Please note the knee joint protections and the leg thrusters, which give it the propre sprint to run away from the whacking scene if things get nasty. This machine features a nice detachable backpack... ...in which you can find a pleasing bonus... ...a robot-Hinckley 8-

For all those interested, I created a topic with some detail photos of Orthro here. SirNadroj: Very nice idea *y* Doug: impressive shark head, and a sure way to eliminate Skellies... if you have a shark at hand, that is (but then, in my vig you have to have a mythological dog at hand 8-| :-P ) Hope your shark won't get his stomach upset by this *skull* X-D LuxorV
-
This is a short photobook of Orthro ( *yoda* ;-) ), the two-headed dog that I used in my vig here. Actually, this is an older version, with little changes in details, I built last April, when I got my two Viking sets... :-$ More pics here LuxorV

Welcome to EB, Exo-builder59 *y* I think he really meant Brickset: look at his sign. And, you linked to the general gallery page, not to your gallery :-| X-D But, Exo-builder59, when I click your sign, it just says: Collection not public This user has not made his or her collection public yet.... 8-| Oh, and I don't have a Brickset collection, but you can see my BrickShelf here :-$ LuxorV

I'm starting to realize it |-/ :-/ ;-) Btw, if I remembre right (not having the books at hand now) it was a scene from Life, the Universe, and Everything, the third of the trilogy (of 5) 8-| LuxorV
-
That's why I put in this: :-P ;-) LuxorV
-
Don't be jealous, else I can't tell you I have 4 of them in white and one or two trans-white >:-) ;-) . I got them long ago (I think I was 3 or 4) from a cousin of mine who was quitting LEGO :-| Thanks for your comments :-) LuxorV
-
Thanks all :-$ I know he is Orthros, in English, but I wrote it in the Italian version ;-) LuxorV

Thanks. You should know I prefer simple things best ;-) LuxorV

Time for excuses :-| He looks neither surprised, nor pleased for the simple reason that he is looking in another direction, and he has not yet seen the case 8-| How lucky I put the head turned halfway to one side X-D Ok, I admit it. I couldn't find a more suitable head, AND Genki's one of my favs *wub* :-$ LuxorV
