  1. Hey, thanks :-$ LuxorV
  2. Indeed, you wise Whacker *sad* LuxorV
  3. Thanks, Hinckley *wub* Now I can see the details, I think it's even greater than t appeared 8-
  4. Oh, well, not to be the first of the class, but I have almost every catalog (most ITA and others from FR, UK, LT, DE, CH) from 1977 on X-O . I lack 1996 and 2003 (I think) |-/ . And I'm used to keep a note-book where I write down the inventory of every new set I buy. So, when I open one, first thing I sort all pieces by color, shape, dimension...; then I write the inventory (controlling on peeron or similar; but that's only since last year). Only then I open the instruction book and start building it :-$ . LuxorV
  5. I don't think I'm going to change my avatar, but in time you'll have something very scary for Halloween ;-) Beware *skull* LuxorV
  6. Nice and well thinked story, iamded *y* And great manga-like mallet 8-
  7. Very nice scary vig *y* That should teach you not to whack (people or skellies alike) if you're not sure they're alone... Beware of the avengers 8-
  8. I meant the garage set was mini; the FXX is something like Burago metal model kits (1:18? 8-| ). LuxorV
  9. I go for Goblin, cause Orcs should be bigger and... this is a Goblin while this is an Orc Those from Dwarves' Mine and so on look more like Goblins to me :-$ . LuxorV
  10. That's quite the most impressive town set (not a lone building) I've ever seen 8-
  11. What made you think so? *wacko* Little Italian-English dictionary: Grazie = Thanks Prego = You're welcome and then: little green one = *yoda* Hope this helps :-P ;-) LuxorV
  12. Nice find, natelite! *y* Still, I prefer the old ones; I like the small detachable robot-things *alien* , but the overall design seems quite cheap-working to me, especially if compared to Supernova, SilentStrike and GoldenGuardian... LuxorV
  13. Since it seems noone created a tread on this... (if there is already one I did not find, please close this, thanks :-$ ). Here you have 2 pics of the tiny Ferrari sets for next year: Personally, I prefer the minifig-size sets of last years, but I find these are quite nice too *y* Italian race cars ON! LuxorV
  14. You seem to be obsessed by turkeys, imperialshadows :-P I agree, we need more female MF. I have about 100+ MF (not counting old plain-faced ones, with only hairs to tell male from female), and only 6 are female |-/ . LuxorV
  15. In Italy is the same. Some will celebrate, but most won't. I line with the second, but espect a Halloween-Special MOC ;-) . LuxorV
  16. I like the un-printed metallic one better. As a certain walrus wrote, I too prefer my parts to be flexible *y* LuxorV
  17. In this case, you're a most nice guy *y* I too have had problems with the last seller: it took one month to process an order (in my same country; not more than 3h car travel from my home) and updated the status only during the last week. Btw, what's your shop name (too lazy to go and read previous posts X-D ;-) )? LuxorV
  18. Me too X-O . I have a container of all Megablock, Tyco and other non-LEGO simil-LEGO bricks, and need to decide what to do with them. You know, my father travelled a lot, and could not resist in front of some sets, but he doesn't seem to understand they're way worse then the REAL thing |-/ :-P . On the other hand, he is the one who helps me with some big MOCs (will post something soon) and who puts in some cash, from time to time *wub* ;-) LuxorV
  19. What a wonderful organizing team *wacko* :-P X-D At least, even with so few entries, this contest got to the voting tread. The first two I entered [Hunted Mansion and Jurassic Park] never came to this, and only faded away :'-( . P.S.: I just saw, while looking for the link, that the JP contest will end on the 29th, so there is still hope, even if only 3 entries till now... [and the third is impressive 8-
  20. I agree, the old impulses are nice, if all you're looking for is MFs and a few accessories, but the new ones are better, in my view, because, other than a very selective MF, you also get bricks (some even new, like the round 4 studs plate), very useful to build MOCs with, and not too expensive. LuxorV
  21. That was very nice work, especially if you say it is your first vignette *y* Very good and detailed scenario, and ninja vs samurai is always a great theme. Are you a fan of Naruto? LuxorV
  22. I'm not a great fan of the Castle line, but I'm going for a Dwarves' Mine *wub* LuxorV
  23. I can grant you I didn't vote for myself here (though I did in the HickHiker's Guide contest :-$ ). Some good soul had a spare vote, I may assume :'-) LuxorV
