I finally built a bug 8-

I already built some stages... Now I have to recruit some actors (I'll PM them, so don't ask to be included, please ;-) ). Photograph will start in a couple of weeks! LuxorV

Thanks :-$ I knew you'd have pinpointed those colored pieces. Let me explain: I used the tan round tiles because all of my black tiles (2) are already in another model (I should buy more |-/ ), and the limegreen piece because I think there isn't a black exo-code tile (at least I don't have it), and almost all of my exo-style mecha have an activation code somewhere in the design :-$ . They're not two different mechs: it's just one with some pieces color (not shape or anything) changed. Think of it this way: it's a mech with some parts that can change their color when they are charged with energy ;-) . I started with the red mode because I thought I didn't have the right pieces for Shakar's standard blue style. Later, I realized I had them 8-

Very nice MOC *wub* *y* It must be very expencive, too, if it's made of 100$ notes X-D . You always surprise me with the use of minifig parts in most original ways X-O Keep up the good work! LuxorV

Thanks guys :-$ As I stated before, I really find Shakar's sigfig very interesting and inspiring, along with his nick. It sounds very mysterious, and it speaks of far away places (either real countries or imaginary planets ;-) ). I'll be looking forward to see your creations *y* LuxorV

Here is my entry: Shakar Special It comes with his magic staff, and has two color modes: Blue (Standard) Mode and Red (Combat) Mode, which uses a sword along with the magic staff Please note the black katana, Shakar's fav weapon [from his sigfig's original decription], included in the base of the mech's staff. Nice entry, Stauder, expecially for your first try with a mech. *y* The design is a bit semplicistic, but I see interesting ideas for those shoulder articolations. And the claw-like thumb is interesting, too. Looks just like a jet-mech ;-) Maybe you should focus on making a more sturdy structure on that frame *y* LuxorV

Since you ask so politely, I'll tell you I'm going to build new mecha (including a Walrus Special, if I can get a proper design out of the few bits of ideas I got for now 8-| ) as soon as the EB-members inspired Mech Contest ends (it should start today :-D ). I'll start saying these all are great MOCs. *y* But since I must cast a vote, I chose Sinner and LegoFreak. They're the funniest And they seem sure ways to kill anyhing, not only skellies (boring them to death [or re-death] and exploding them) X-D The only other entry I'll cite is Batbrick's, since it captured my attention as a paleontologist: very nice and well studied *y* *y* . May the best skellies exterminator win ;-) LuxorV
