Great MOC, Sinner *y* . I really like all those internal and external details, directional jets and airlock mechanism in particular. The one thing I miss is a built-in ladder to get onboard when you do not have a base at hand (not everybody can have *yoda* who gives you one like he did for Luke on Degobah [i always wandered if it was stored in some cargo holder of the X-wing or was *yoda*'s own... 8-| ]). 2. Nice idea *y* . I don't know if I'll have time to build something to partecipate, but I'll certainly look forward to see what will come out of this 8-
  3. It's a pity BS was down most of yesterday afternon (Europe time)... |-/ Well, so far it would seem the ancient walrus DNA is the favourite :-P (along with a half hint for the number plate :-$ ). Please, more comments are welcome :-) . LuxorV
  4. Very nice use of colors. And nice trolls, too *y* LuxorV
  5. It's amazing 8-
  6. Story of a stolen discovery I was sitting in my lab, browsing through EB, when, all of a sudden, I sensed a presence behind me 8-| . At first, I thought it was just my immagination, then I heard stealthy footsteps, going in the direction of the cabinet. Since there is where I keep all the important fossils and other things I find in my excavations, I thought it had to be a robber. So, pretending not to hear him *sad* , I checked the box on my right in search of some handy tool for defence. When I heard he was opening the shutter, I decided it was time to act. I picked up the first thing that came at hand... ...then I solemnly WHACKED the man >:-) ! You can't immagine my surprise when I saw him: he was Hinckley 8-
  7. Very nice, and it seems quite posable, too. Good MOC *y* LuxorV
  8. Here is yet another LuxorV Industries product for you: the Star Chevrolette. It is the ultimate luxury veichle for single-person space travels *sad* . It features long fins (where the link to the famous car) Has shuttable propulsors' chamber A quite spacy cockpit, and simple controls I know, it is a bit expencive, but our proud Sheriff got his as a reward for capturing the notorius space pirate Bullseye (for the symbol on his eye-bandage) 8-
  9. Thanks both! I think I'll attain to Strauder's method for interviews: I'll post the Combo #2 next week ;-) . LuxorV
  10. Good MOC *y* I'd only make the door look a bit more "crushed", like the Imperials used some bombs or granades to blast it and get through... LuxorV
  11. Welcome to EB! *y* LuxorV
  12. LuxorV Industries are proud to show you a new creation: the Shiva Fighter, Exo-Force Combo #1 (yes, more to come, and bigger ;-) ). More pics here. It is based on the Stealth Hunter structure, modified to display tow additonal hands (from where its name :-$ ), larger feet, and heavier weaponry. P.S.: I know that its left side torso armour is lower then that on its right :-/ , but I noticed it only after taking the photos and taking the model apart |-/ ) LuxorV
  13. Welcome to EB ;-) LuxorV

    The Abyss

Very nice and, yes, deep (the story I mean, and the abyss too :-D ). Some of these days I have to find the time to make a story... I already have some ideas, and it could involve both the Wacker and the Walrus, will see ;-) LuxorV
  15. Well, I think this was espected: rember the Blazing Falcon first pics, at Paris Toy Fair (dec 2006) I think, it did not even have the claws on its wrists; probably they hadn't molded them yet... :-D And I agree with Mr. Mandalorian: they need to improve the "dropship" badly :-X LuxorV
  16. Very nice MOCs *y* I kinda *wub* this one: It's the most funny moment in the game when you see a bunch of grunts running about with their hands up and that strange ondulating movement X-D Btw - Welcome to EB ;-) LuxorV
  17. It seems I'm the first to post a vig :-P . Its title is: The first Vogon ... and the reason is all in this quote: "When the Vogon had first crawled out of the sluggish primeval seas of Vogsphere, and had lain panting and heaving on the planet's virgin shores... when the first rays of the bright young Vogsol sun had shone acros them that morning, it was as if the forces of evolution had simply given up on them there and then, had turned aside in disgust and written them off as an ugly and unfortunate mistake. They never evolved again; they should never have survived." [The Hickhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - cap. 5] More pics here; there is also a LDD pic of the initial project. I used the Mr. Pig from Fabuland as a Vogon because it is the best fitting MF and I didn't like the idea of building some kind of constuct like the horrible one in the LDD screen-capture :-X . LuxorV

    R&W-G

Thank you, it was my first try for a big mech! :-$ Oh, I liked Voltron very much. Was your Voltron made of the 5 detatchable lions liked together or was it just one-piece? He can move arms and legs in the sagittal plain only, no lateral movement; and hands can rotate, as well as forearms. The gun was merely inspird by the Fire Vulture flamethrower... just a bit larger :-P LuxorV
  19. The Luxor Industries present you the powerful and adaptable MechSuits for open space work and resque 8-
  20. You missed this Hinkley: "When I was a kid (30 now) I had to wait until I got a catalog in a set or saw the new sets in a store. And back then, LEGO only released new sets in January. Only once a year." And LEGO bricks were just bricks. I mean, I'm just few years younger than you, and at the time we almost did not know there could be bricks in a shape different from the classic rectangle or cilinder... I collected wings, windshields and foils as very rare and special pieces; not to mention hinges 8-
  21. So the entry tread will start next week, right? Perfect, so I'll have enough time to read the books *sweet* (finally got them in the editor's shop... others don't have them |-/ ). The Guide ON *y*
  22. What can you say when you see something like this 8-
  23. I think this goes in the Website & Forums section *sad* . Anyway, jipay has n
  24. I like your vig very much, and I think the plane fits in well. As for the seagulls, I think your solution is very good (I would have never thought to built them that way ;-) ) and very scenographic 8-
