  1. Hi hollisbrick, as long as I know, you start as a Vassal when you sign up in EB, then you become a Citizen when you post your 100th post, Knight at 500th, and so on (Count at 1000th, I think 8-| ). Maybe some older member or one of the admins can post a table of the 'ranking', or is there already a tread on this? ;-) LuxorV
  2. Great MOC. I *wub* all those details in the interior, especially the identification office *y* Now all you need are a Zenigata and a Lupin minifigs... X-D

Hello everybody, I wanted to open this tread this morning, but could not upload the pics on BS... |-/ Well, this time I present you the Red & White Giant (I know, not very imaginative name :-| ). It's a patrol-defense robot built to fit a minifig in its torso. The lines are quite straight and essential, but it was my first try with something this size... 8-
  5. Personally, I find it a bit, well, confusing, with all those spikes and horns and weapons sprouting out *wacko* . Still, it is impressive (both for size and appearace), and I think it matches with your avatar *y* . LuxorV
  6. At this point I thought "hey, I've seen a MOC on BS that could be of use for inspiration!" Then I read the following lines: I understand your view, and tend to share it, so I think you can find whatever inspiration you may need by yourself (I think you are much more expert and full of fantasy than myself, judging from your pages and comics; btw, they're great *y* ), and ask for advice/comment if you feel you need it. Good work :-P I'll patiently wait to see them dragons (and the Book with all the custom charcters) finished ;-)
  7. I know, but you wrote you plan to build 3 for your Book of the Ancients: And I thought you had similar problems in shaping their heads...
  8. I think what Sinner's dragon head, and possibly Hinckley's too, lack to be dragonish in a couple (or more) or spikes on the back >:-) (maybe a row in the middle of the front-top, too). You know, something like this: or this: Hope it'll be useful.
  9. Nice MOC 8-
  10. What can I add... It's a fine model of one of my favourite planes, with great color scheme :-$ . I particulary appreciate the piston heads line in front of the cockpit, so neat 8-
  11. I'm 26 years (+ 2 weeks and 2 days... I'll spare you counting hours and minutes :-P ) in age.
  12. Very nice and neat *y* . I specially like the beak-like ending of the upper lip, it gives it a rapacious look *skull* ! Oh, and I like those nostrils too. The only thing I do not comprehend is why it only has one front tooth in the lover jaw 8-
  13. At great request, here are some detail pics of the mech-suit 8-
  14. The truck was a later thought, not included in my first idea, but that corner felt too empty... *sad* Happy you like it :-$ As for a robot big enough to have this as its head, no, I've never built one (not enough pieces at the time |-/ ). Maybe I'll rebuild the head and give it a body in the future... Who knows ;-) They're hair-things I just put in to make the head larger on fornt view... But indeed the give it a Rasta look :-P LuxorV
  15. Hello, in these days I've been re-organizing my old photos, and I've found a lot of pics of last years creations. So, this is just one of them: it's a Facility where humans produce the final and most important part of their big robots - the Head The head design is inspired by Greek (possibly Spartan) helmets and it has light-up eyes, ear-mounted weapons, neck-elevating pistons, and braids-like hairs (sorry for ba quality/blurry pic) Hope you like it. More pics here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=276386 LuxorV
  16. Thanks... They were just the first two signs I designed: When I found cape templates on BS (sorry, I don't remember from whom I've 'stolen' them), I they could become nice Twin Knights' capes :-$ LuxorV
  17. Don't worry, that was just an idea I had before you posted this topic ;-) . I think I'll have to re-read the book (for now I've only got The Guide, but I'm looking for the others :-$ ) before I can build something good enough for a contest... 8-| I'll look forward the official opening *y* LuxorV
  18. Hey, you took me off guard X-O ! I was just thinking the same thing yesterday... Well, I have already built a vignette from the Heart of Gold, and I was going to upload it in MOCs now. So, I'll put it here (I'll think of something new for the contest ;-) ). Hope you like it. This is the initial design with LDD, with some explanation comics: And these are the acutal LEGO photos: Poor Marvin! 8-| More can be found on my BS account (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=luxorv). That is, as soon as they'll be published :-$ . ON! *y* LuxorV

    Milan Duomo

Thank you both :-$ . To simonwillems: I know it would look even more impressive, made out of the actual plastic, but for now I do not have the money or the space where to display it or even store the pieces... |-/ . Maybe in sometime... 8-| Bye LuxorV

    Milan Duomo

Hi, I've lately completed my first LDD model of a famous monument. Being Italian, I chose the 'Duomo di Milano' *wub* (maybe I'll go for the Colosseum next 8-| ). Here are some pics: As you can see, it can be opened and has some internal details (from a plan I found on the net). It's 1737 pieces, most of them white 2x2x1 bricks. I tryed to make it as similar as possible *sweet* : I'd like to know what you think of it :'-) . Now a little advertising >:-) : you can find it on TLG site in Factory Gallery, Famous Places. If you like it, I'd be very pleased to know you got it. [i do not get anything else from this ;-) ]. Bye LuxorV
  21. Very nice, expecially Starscream *wub* . LEGO Transformers ON *y* LuxorV
  22. Well, there is actually a lot of dirt in the field *sweet* , and sometimes in our labs too 8-| :-P . Thank you. LuxorV
  23. I'd say 7661 and save up the rest for autumn sales (or buy something for imperialshadows X-D ). JSFs ON, and I *wub* Kit Fisto's Minifig. LuxorV
