  1. You're welcome . And, maybe, you could post here (or elsewhere if it's part of a MOC) some pics of the applied decal LuxorV
  2. Hi Dennimator, what I meant by 'do not simply copy and paste' is that you should not do that into word (or any other such program you use to print the decals). If you save the template file on your PC and open it with a graphic program (like CorelDraw, or Photoshop, or Paint), you should notice it's the right size already (15,5 x 13,2 millimeters at 600 dpi). As long as you don't change those settings (height, length and resolution [the DPIs]), it should be printed in the right size . Please do not esitate to make me know if you need further help. LuxorV
  3. Hi BatBrick, I really love your evergrowing collection of mods and re-mods (this somehow reminds me of my work on the Super Nova... ) and MOCs The re-mods are very well built; I take they can be considered 'final' ? The Batpod seems simplier than some I saw on BS, yet more proportionate and sturdy. Brilliant job there. The Scarecrow's Carriage is something I'd never have thought of. Yet it's so pertaing to the character Btw, those decals look very familiar And finally, I find the vig very suited for (a bit late) Halloween. LuxorV
  4. Wow, I think I'm reaching a maximum, with the third post in a row (spread over 2 1/2 months, though)! Anyway, I added a Fabuland section and the new 2009 Soldier and Commander torsos both front & back. LuxorV
  5. This are some decals I made last spring and never had the occasion to use. Enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making them Captain Redbeard Dino 2010 Digger Studios Blue top girl Gentleman suit Black Spider-man suit Green Goblin suit/armor Harry Osborn Spiderman 2 vest LuxorV
  6. Thanks for the support, WhiteFang Here are the last requests: 2009 Pirates Commander (front & back) Clark Kent (Smallville version) Green Arrow (Smallville version) Ki-Adi head for 2 head pieces in Yellow and Flesh Lois Lane (Smallville version) StarKiller Stephen Colbert with glasses in Yellow and Flesh Stephen Colbert without glasses in Yellow and Flesh As for Doomsday Smallville version, I need a reference pic of some sort to make it (I tried with Google, but, not being a fan of the series, I can tell which one would be best). Neo Nova

Thanks NewRight And sorry for the late answer... I seem to have lost memory of this topic for a few days LuxorV
  8. I use the biggest Post-its I have at home (say 10x6 cm), and maybe they're a special edition or something, now that you make me think of it... Anyway, the glued band has to be about 15 millimeters height to cover a MF torso. You can find info on how to print decals in the right size here. If you follow this indications, you should have no problem in printing them right. The most important thing is you do not 'copy and paste' the decals, since often they have a high resolution (mine are 600 dpi), and they would appear and be printed way too big. LuxorV
  9. Thanks all for the positive feedback I really enjoyed planning and building this (tiny) bit by (tiny) bit, and I'm glad you like it as much as I do LuxorV
  10. I'll answer you with the words of the immortal Douglas Adams: <<The first thing to realise about parallel universes, the Guide says, is that they are not parallel. It is also important to realise that they are not, strictly speaking, universes either, but it is easiest if you try and realise that a little later, after you've realised that everything you've realised up to that moment is not true. The reason they are not universes is that any given universe is not actually a thing as such, but is just a way of looking at what is technically known as the WSOGMM, or Whole Sort of General Mish Mash. The Whole Sort of General Mish Mash doesn't actually exist either, but is just the sum total of all the different ways there would be of looking at it if it did. The reason they are not parallel is the same reason that the sea is not parallel. It doesn't mean anything. You can slice the Whole Sort of General Mish Mash any way you like and you will generally come up with something that someone will call home. Please feel free to blither now.>> - Mostly harmless (Chapter 3) LuxorV
  11. No, I study animal fossils. And before you ask: no, not dinos; just ammonoids and bivalves. On the other hand, I always loved archeology, too. And I read a lot of SciFi, so I'm sure I'll like this role And, I'll stand the beating, as long as I can return it, too LuxorV
  12. Done! LuxorV
  13. Hey, I love all this Alternate Realities (well, maybe I love the last a little less than the others... ). Great update! And great final sketches Now go get him! Btw, I'd be a paleontologist... But, hey, I studied archeology, too LuxorV
  14. Hi, yesterday I had a little time and started playing with few bricks; after a while, an idea began to crawl to my consciousness. Adding brick to brick, shaping it, I finally got a Mini (or Micro) General Grievous Starfighter. Gallery here (when moderated). What do you think of it? LuxorV
  15. Hi Eskallon, as Cyclone Titan already stated, we have a specific topic for custom decals requests: the Decal Wish List. Please use that topic for future requests. Thanks That said, I've made a Santa decal after your request (it's quite interesting that nobody made or requested one before): Hope you like it. PS: all you have to do now is add it into a Word .doc (not copy and paste, 'cause with a resolution of 600 dpi it would come out way too big ), and have fun ! LuxorV
  16. Just to bring things back on topic a bit, I got my title 368 days ago (14th december 2007). It's based on (actually it's the name of ) the most wonderful spaceship in the Universe. What! You don't belive it ? Please look here for reference. And the reason why I got it is that at the time I had built some vigs based on Duglas Adams Hichhikers' Guide to the Galaxy, starting with my entry in this contest hosted by ImperialShadows and Mr.Mandalorian. LuxorV
  17. Very nice creation, Athos The thing I like the most is the Angel with that beautiful trumpet. It's the best brick built trumpet I've seen so far LuxorV
  18. Happy B-Day, peolpe LuxorV
  19. Very fresh and relaxing tones... I really like this skin Thanks Hinckley! LuxorV

    Neo Nova

It's incredible: every single time I build the Super Nova, I want to modify it, to correct the major faults in its design (such as the horrible cockpit!). And everytime I come out with a new design, always related to the original, but also always different. Here is the latest version, the Neo Nova (I must recognize that the 'Ultimate Nova' name I give to the other one was a bit excessive...). Pic links to the gallery (when moderated). Comments and critics are welcome. LuxorV
  21. It would seem nobody had any comment about the last group of decals... Well, with today's 10 and the next 5, I'm done with current requests. Afte that, I think I'll take another break for Christmas Holidays. Here we go: 18th century style suit 1, suit 2 and suit 3 501th trooper detachment CrossBreed between Classic Town and Tusken Raider torso Josef Stalin Head Vladimir Lenin Head Nikolai (sorry, the reference pic didn't show the lower torso details...) 2009 Pirates - Soldier (front and back) Spyrus Red Robot (aka Stauder uniform) Comments would be greatly appreciated LuxorV
  22. Another very good chapter, Joebot Now we'll just have to wait for the next story arch to know more about this Benefactor and his plan! LuxorV
  23. The same exact words I would have chosen LuxorV
  24. Well, Bethlehem isn't really in Egypt. They went to Egypt later, after the Magi visited them... On the other hand, Bethlehem too was probably quite sandy at the time... But I prefer to limit the view to the hovel only . Thanks again for the comments and suggestions. The golden disk/star will come in soon (but not too soon: it's still on the way, with the Magi on its tail). As for the rear, it's not meant to be shown, so I think I'll keep it as it is Thanks for the comment on the walls' structure. The two people are Joseph and Mary, and the grey thing in the middle is the crib Jesus was put into at birth. LuxorV
  25. Thanks for the review, daoudbazaar. I this set. Can't wait to find it in Italy LuxorV
