Don't worry peolpe, I deleted your double post Please read the full text (or maybe I wasn't clear enough): I meant the glued band of the Post-it - the upper band that allowes you to stick it onto surfacies. And it's as easy to take off as the original Post-it, of course Hope to have cleared things a bit LuxorV

Let's start with the wall-on-grill structure pic: Then we add a bit of greenery on the sides: And we end with the turned back wall and the Rex head (thanks for the advice, trooperdavinfelth ; I must admit I just used the first Clone head I had at hand ): Thanks for the comments, and for the advices, too. As you will see when the gallery will be public again, I made this as a vignette, so I tried to stick to the 8x8 limit. I recognize that a bit more of 'ambient features' would add to the scene, but I didn't want to over-populate the vig Maybe next time... LuxorV

No problem: I already have the design of the 'ammo belt', and I can add it to any other torso I'll design. That's one of the good things when working with vectorial images LuxorV

Thanks for the comments. Pics of the walls should be up by tomorrow morning... Well, if I know my catechism, Jesus should be put in the crib on the 25th at midnight @ Athos - I'll try to post pics of a turned back wall tomorrow, along with the others LuxorV

LuxorV replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
At the end, they realized it wasn't poor Hinckley who caused that pandemonium And thanks for giving me a place in the cast, Hinckley ...even if I'm a bit surprised: I didn't know that I knew what I'm going to explain there ? LuxorV -

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #7
LuxorV replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Another great page, Hinckley! Now I'll just add to the long and well deserved chorus of the 'great munching scene'; and I must admit I didn't remember why KimT had the bucket on his head @ Zepher - That's not me; I never used a pirate cutlass, and I don't have that shirt. Let's say this, I'm well better than that Lastly, thanks to Lego12 for clarifying the Witch Hunt reference. Having not followed the game, I was quite lost at that point LuxorV -
Don't worry, we're here to help you Just look around and have fun LuxorV

What paper do you use when you print a minifig torso?
LuxorV replied to Dennimator's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hi Dennimator, I've already answered to the first part of your question in this thread . As for decal papers, I rarely print decals, so I just use white pot-its: if you print a decal on the glued-band, you'll get a pre-glued, re-usable decal . More specifically, I know there are two kinds of special decal paper: white decal paper, which is like photograph paper, and tends to give you lighter colors when printed, but is not much influenced by the background color of the part you apply it onto; and clear decal paper, which is like the old acetate film used for lectures, gives you a better result for colors' blend, but is heavily influenced by the color of the underlying part. Both papers need to be applied with water - they're known as water-slide decal papers. Here you can find a discussion about them, and some examples from a very nice project by Hinckley. For further details, you may try and ask directly to experienced decal users, like Hinckly himself . Finally, I use the very advanced Microsoft Word to print my decals LuxorV -

Maybe you already have other attachments stored ? The total filespace counts for the sum of all your attachments; it does not count for every single one. LuxorV -
Thanks for this review, WhiteFang! It reminds me of the good old days I have a similar set, but with the yellow excavator, as it was in the Construction line: 6630 - Bucket Loader. It's one of my fav old sets LuxorV

Hi there, garrim, and Welcome to EB. This is the template I use. As long as I know, it has the right dimensions. Note that it is a .png file at 600 dpi; so, it may seem big when opened with a graphic program; but, once printed, it has the right size On a side note, here at EB we prefer new members to introduce themselves in this forum, before they start posting requests. And we prefer members in general not to title threads as 'Help!', but 'Looking for ...'. It's just a question of not annoying other members by looking too childish. Thanks for your understanding, and have a good time with the template LuxorV

Very futuristic design, and great MF, too! I like the details like the robots' legs as lights' braces on the sides of the hull. I'll check back the BS gallery when public, since I'm very interested in how you made the pilot seat in the bubble cockpit. I tried it once, but was not able to figure a good configuration It somehow inspires a 'space frontier' feeling to me, btw Thanks for sharing, Nannan LuxorV

That's right. And, if I remeber correctly, they were called 'Storytellers'. At least the SW ones. LuxorV -

Great idea, Staff Since I couldn't get an official LEGO Advent Calendar (don't ask; it's complicated... ), I'll be chacking this everyday with great excitement ! LuxorV

Indeed it's strange Well, to start with the eyes: Then, I think I should have specified that the IR-sensible tissue is distributed all over the head, and on the dark tan spots on the sides of the hide LuxorV
