2009 decal requests (by tin7)
LuxorV replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Hi KinGaron, nice to see you in the MCW Please post your decal requests only in this thread. We don't want the response threads to be an unreadable mess of comments and mixed requests, right . Then, if you know/like a specific decal maker's style and you want him/her to take care of your requests, you can add his/her name in your request post. EDIT - Corrected the link; thanks tin7! Again, great job, tin7! They're very detailed and professional You beated me to it... ...but it doesn't seem to be the right solution anyway LuxorV -
Hi SkyOtic, I'm glad you like my work and want to print the decals. Here is the answer I gave to that same question some time ago (it was about the 5th time ). Hope this solves your issue. Hopefully, this redundancy in questions should soon be solved with the new MCW Index (once I get to finish it ). LuxorV

Disney Minifig Collection 5

Let's do it this way: you try making this one (just a shirt and opened jacket, like this, but with lower pokets), and the head in LEGO style. Then we can see how it'll come, and I can tell you what to improve/change, if needed I'm sure you'll make a good work LuxorV -
The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus #8

Another great chapter . I can't say I'll miss the weekly format, as long as they keep coming at this pace I love all those magical shape-shifting effects, and how everything always gets to be worked out some crazy way My last word will be for Sinner: Don't loose your hope. One day you may, for the most incredible, unthinkable, disastrous series of consequences, become a System fig LuxorV -

Wow, really nice Pocahontas decal Any chances you want to take some of the decal requests? As for the hair-piece painting, you may find useful tips in this topic by aayla-secura LuxorV -
Good job on these I'm glad you could solve the camera's problems and post the pics. Now, as ImperialShadows said, you could deeplink the images (way better than attaching them ) and post links to your BS gallery LuxorV

I fear I can't help you with this, since I use CorelDraw and Adobe Photoshop, and I never used ImageReady Maybe you can check some graphics' forum to see if there is any good and easy tutorial. Or maybe some nice ImageReady user here can point you to one of them LuxorV

Again, great customs tin7 I didn't remember the name of the first guy (Gaston, of course), but it came immediately into focus who he was: the bad guy from Beauty and the Beast! You did a fantastic job on those hairs ; they are unmistakable! I'm glad you like the Jasmine decal, and I'd say it came out quie well indeed. Maybe I should darken the green tone a bit; but maybe it's just due to the paper . You could make an experiment by tring (on another print, if you want) to stick a bit of transparent adhesive tape on it; it should give it a bit more dark and shiny (semi-plastic) look. LuxorV -
This is very annoying. Since they started using the brown version, why did they have to change back to the grey one ? I now sense a request for a 'brown mechanic moustache head' coming in the MCW LuxorV

Another great MOC I the ammount of action they can now achive; TLG's version was a bit too stiff, compared to the movie scenes That won't be me I never really considered brick-built bots as minifigs; this way, the creator mini robots should be considered as MF too. It's just a way TLG uses to increase their MF counts, to me. LuxorV

So it'll be another month before we can get an interview? We'll try to resist And when you're back, you'll find lots of new Fellows to keep you busy interviewing them all Good luck with those exams LuxorV

Happy Birthday! May this day rattle with new bricks LuxorV

I was sure I already commented on this one - runs to take memory pills - This is a great scene you made, both for the action (the Exo-Force head is perfectly used) and the background, which is very detailed And now, kids, go to eat you vegetables! LuxorV

Very nice design, both the flowers and the pots LuxorV

I think it's about time to put an ultimatum . commandercody - you generated great expectations into your fellow EB members. Please post at least part of the pics within 1 week, or I'll have to close this topic. LuxorV
