  1. Very short, but nice review. I saw the pics yesterday evening on BS, and I think there's more fun to come, isn't it so ? Thanks for sharing, WhiteFang LuxorV
  2. Hi all, I just updated the Library. These were the new additions: Green pirate woman by QuartermasterRobert 2009 Pirate with rope by LuxorV (from the early pics of the new Pirates) 2009 Soldier uniform by LuxorV (from the early pics of the new Pirates) Woman with apron by LuxorV (from the Castle Advent Calendar, but it was supposed to be from Pirates at the time of her first appearance) You may find them useful in the new CONTEST: Pillage the Village LuxorV
  3. Ops! I must have missed that ! Thanks for the info, Copmike LuxorV
  4. I was going to answer here yesterday, but then I forgot to do it... As others said, Fabuland is a great memory of my first LEGO years: long wonderful hours of play with my older sister and these strange animal MFs . What I really find cool in this theme is the big ammount of accessories never reproduced to normal MFs' scale in later themes. Just think about the bird cage, the fridge, the big spoons and so on. And they fit in perfectly (well, most of them) with the other normal MFs. Another thing I think has to be stressed about Fabuland is that it's the perfect passage between Duplo and System. I think it was great for little children (like me at the time) to have these big headed animal-like MFs (which still were childish) that could 'interact' and be used long with the System bricks (those we used to see in our 'big' friends collections). This is my contribution So, Fabuland ON! LuxorV

  8. I like everything in this chapter: the story, the MOCs (very intetseting built!) and the personality sketches. Great job, BatBrick ! Answers: stay, take food and keep Sheckles with you. LuxorV

  14. Very sturdy looking and futuristic vehicle, ExoBuilder And, it's full of interesting pieces used in very clever ways! I'd buy it, if it were a set (but I fear I would be scared by the price, given its size ) Nice to see you building these babies again LuxorV
  15. Happy B-Day LuxorV

  19. I like most of the songs by Linkin park. The others I don't really know well. LuxorV
  20. Nice to see you starting the 2nd year this good. I feared you were going to give up, after those last topics (which I've read but not commented; guilty me ). I'm sure everybody love this program, and we'll always be wanting to read new interviews. Imo, in this kind of topics, it's not the number of posts that counts, but the number of views. Keep it up. LuxorV
  21. Thanks guys The weather wasn't the best ever (it's been rainy all week here in Italy), and the presents will come tomorrow (since I'll wait to celebrate with my Father [his name-day is next week, and we decided to make one big party together]). But you cheered up my day ! LuxorV
  22. As far as I'd love a return of a RR-like theme, I must say I'm not really excited by what I can see in these pics. On the other hand, they seem to still be WIPs. Surely the next pics will be better, and maybe I'll change my mind (fingers crossed) LuxorV
  23. Yesterday evening I had this idea of a Pillows' Battle vig, so I built a big bed, put in the 'flakes', added the pillows. Then I had to choose the figs. Originally, I meant to use normal minifigs as children playing. Then, I thought: well, it's been a long time since I last built something for the FBG! So I changed to Fabuland figs. To cut it short, here it is: Gallery Hope you like it LuxorV
  24. This is my first SteamPunk MOC, so don't expect too much from it. That said, here are Dr. Prop Von Eller and his assistant Mr. Pipe on their last creation. This vehicle, propelled by 4 independent 3-blades steam propellers, is used to explore both land and see, providing a stable base of operations for his crew. It's maximum flight height is of 2000 meters, with an autonomy of about 400 Km at cruise speed (30 Km/H). It proved very useful as rescue air unit during the flood of Old Brickington, thanks to its large hull that can carry supplies as well as rescued wonded, and its powerful winch (very useful to get rescuers to otherwise non reachable locations) Here is the gallery (when public). Hope you like it LuxorV
  25. Very good looking. I'll be waiting for the final version LuxorV
