  1. Yet another great use for our beloved HHGTTG element: the towel! Thanks for this very useful tutorial, Hinckley And thanks ImperialShadows for adding it to the index LuxorV
  2. Another neat decal, Tin7 Your attention for detailing is increasing. If I can say just one thing, I'd add a buckle @ isaacbrockthebuilder - please try to contribute to the discussion in a more mature way with your posts, please LuxorV
  3. Well, you can find a less expensive version of that torso here (click on the third decal name) Speaking as a once (and only for a short time) comic maker, I agree with what has already been said: the comic itself is the medium of your humor and fantasy. Adding smilies to it could produce the impression you are too unsure of your intent, and need to over-assure yourself that your sketches will be understood. LuxorV
  4. Some of the recently requested decals are here. The others will soon follow, either by Tin7 or by me (or by anybody else who wants to make some ). LuxorV
  5. Time for an update - the Minifig Customization Index now (well, since last week) features new Tutorials and useful links to techniques and resources. Give it a try And, here you have some of the recently requested decals: Bastila Red pants at-the-knee Journal for 2x2 tile #1 Journal for 2x2 tile #2 (Daily Bugle) A little *BONUS* The others will soon follow. 6. I was thinking the same thing some time ago, and I finally decided it has to do with Ford's experience. When he played Han Solo (at least in Ep. IV), he was new to the role of actor. In Indy he's more experienced, giving the character more personality (in Ep. V and VI, too) and so a more mature look . LuxorV
  7. Very well planned and executed, with lots of details and storytelling Congratulations for the prizes! LuxorV
  8. Well, not really in foot, since in Italy we use the metrical system, but I always considered a 5 bricks height (= a normal door) as 2 meters (the normal MF with old male hair piece would then be around 1.70-1.80 meters). LuxorV
  9. Please calm dow, Sulfurix. Why do you start a discussion (if you don't like the term 'debate') topic, if you don't want to hear other people's opinions? And now, please all get back to topic: I'd like a PM game, since I missed the RockRaiders' one, and since I like all strange tech and mining stuff. But, as I see TLG's policy, it will probably just be an on-line version (something like the MarsMission game would still be great ), and maybe some new MLN Networkers. LuxorV
  10. They look really accurate and professional. Thanks for sharing your find, Gamer. The author is obliviumjr (link to BS gallery). He/She makes very professional decals on various subjects, mainly movies, comics and videogames LuxorV
  11. Please don't take it bad, L-space. I might have been a bit rude with my reply, but I already re-directed another request in this same thread and I think that if you read the other posts you should know that. Now that your request is in its right place, I'm sure somebody will take care of it soon Thanks for your collaboration LuxorV
  12. Hope you get it LuxorV
  13. Another very nice robot, with its own personality From the constructive point of view, it reminds me of Bumblebee for the head, Ironhide for the big arm weapon, and Barricade for the fact it's Police. I must have watched Transformers too much Great van, too, btw LuxorV
  14. Happy Birthday guys @ KimT - you should find a kinda present in your PM (even if I didn't know it was your B-day, when is sent you that ) LuxorV
  15. Please be patient, Commander Flash. It's only been a couple of days since you required those designs. People who make decals here have other things to do (I for one have a work and a private life to attend as well as do my part here). And please keep in mind they spend their time and energy for free to compile with your requests. Don't press them to make them. LuxorV
  16. Do you mean something like this, but in solid red instead of dotted pink? LuxorV
  17. Really neat and professional look Thanks for sharing, ED-209 LuxorV
  18. Ok, I'll make sure to check them. I'm a bit late with the update, but I'll sort it out soon LuxorV
  19. Enrty 2 for me. I town landscapes like this. Entry 3 would have been my second choice LuxorV
  20. Please fix the links, 'cause they aren't working LuxorV
  21. Since, as you said, that pic is just a WIP, I'll only say good work! As for the face, I quite like it, but I think you should widen the eyes a bit, to match the pic (maybe just use a Dark Flesh tone to render a slight make-up, and acheive the goal). I always think of Lara as a bit oriental in her features LuxorV
  22. Since you already knew there had to be a Sigfig topic (exactly in the Community: Your Sig-fig, For posting your signature mini-fig.), why didn't you use the Search option to find it, and post your sigfig there? Please do so in the future. Now I'll close this topic. LuxorV
  23. Another great work, BatBrick I remember when you started working on Mecha: you said it was the most difficult theme you had faced so far, but you made giant steps in little time, so I'm sure you'll bring us wonderful starships in no time As for this first attempt, it's not bad at all I like small crafts and big ones. But I find a good small ship to be more difficult to build than a big one: on a big model you have a lot of space to add lots of detailing. But a small vassel requires more accurate planning an often you need to take the model apart at half-way in the construction to add a shockingly cool new feature you just discovered What I like most in your Phoenix are the landing skids: I never saw such a use of those pieces, and I find it very ingenious. And the top shot really exalts the bird-like shape Can't wait to see more space MOCs from you LuxorV
  24. Great Lara design, Axle . But I fear it seems more a Tomb Raider T-shirt than a MF torso: the 'void' (dark-grey) space on the sides it a bit too big, imo. It gives the idea of a Lara Croft body printed on a shirt or something that is worn by the MF. Even more so since the lower torso in the design is narrower than a MF's hips. Again, I like the design, but you may need to work a little more on the proportions . Even if it means making Lara look less slim (there a reason why Ahsoka, so slim in the movie, doesn't look as good in MF format ). LuxorV
  25. Ok, I linked you to the wrong thread (or at least one that doesn't solve problems connected to the use of Paint to print decals). Try printing them this way. Note: It's for printing decals only, not to work on them with a graphic program and then print them. I can't grant it'll work if you change them with another program: if the program messes up the resolution, you cpould get total garbage . In the future, please don't revive old topics like this. A PM would have sufficed . LuxorV
