My personal opinion is that it doesn't. But you're better off telling them directly what you mean to do, and see what they'll reply LuxorV

I think you should ask them if they can send you the design they used (sometime they do, if you can grant them you won't use it for commercial purposes). I don't feel like I want to copy their design, since it's part of their job and it wouldn't be fair, imho. LuxorV

Again, very nice work. I see you used a lot of decals, but wasn't especting 30 of them; guess the helmet used a lot of pieced-up designs to complete. Actually, you can deeplink pictures when they're not yet public. I did it lots of times. Just follow steps 5 to 7 of the Tutorial I linked in the previous post And sorry if it looked like an offence to you . It took me a little to learn this when I joined, and I still feel I need to show I know it LuxorV

Again, I don't know the show (we see very few of these TV series in Italy, and I don't watch TV very much ), but they look very interesting. And I'll take the others' word that they indeed stick to the show . There's a very thin line between what we call a custom and what we could call a simple mix of official parts. I for one consider a custom figure as a minifig one composes to create a character not existing in Official LEGO form. You can get to this reault following mainly two ways. You can mix offical parts, and call it a purist custom fig (like darthperson's ones). Then you can take official parts, mix them, and add other parts and/or decals, and call it a home-made (meaning part of the pieces were made by somebody who isn't TLG) custom fig (like the one I see in exxtrooper's avatar). Personally, I'm a mid-purist: I like to stick to official LEGO parts, and not to physically mod them, except by applying removable decals. But I'm cool with both ways, as they express the makers' creativity and their view of and relation with The Brick LuxorV
