  1. No, that's really helpful, thanks! I hadn't thought of that. That is a good approach I think I may incorporate into another project but this one is limited to the depth I want it to be. Great option though!
  2. I am building a kinetic Diorama which has a scene with a figure being chased by some 'creatures'. I wanted a solution to the movement similar to the walking T-Rex build (and walking TaunTaun on Reddit) Schlumpy89 has on Lego Ideas Here: LEGO IDEAS - Walking T-Rex Display In the past, I have used methods by JKBRICKWORKS (namely the Lawnmower man Kinetic sculpture) but this time I would benefit greatly from a thinner base. My own solutions require a base at least 2 - 3 times thicker than Schlumpys one. I don't have enough bricks (or money!) to experiment in real life and Studio doesn't seem very useful for designing Kinetic models as you cannot test the movement. I have done as much research as I can but have no idea how Schlumpy got the mechanism into such a small box. Does anyone know where I can look up various techniques that may help me or maybe give me some idea how its done?
  3. Worked it out! Took me a while but got there..
  4. Thanks Mylenium, I have re uploaded the images and I think they work fine now. This is my first post so I apologise. The images should make more sense (I hope!!). The Internal View shown the gun with the side panels removed and the top cover. The barrel connects to the top cover fine but i need to connect the top cover to the body. I can annotate the images to make my issue clearer if it is still confusing. J
  5. Hi, I have recently just completed the awesome Shark Mech by MOKO (Build video available on YouTube) and he looked a bit bare without a weapon so I decided to build the one shown in MOKO's Video. Unfortunately, the weapon was not part of the build vid so I have had to reverse engineer it which has so far been a great challenge and a lot of fun but I have come to a bit of a block. I am literally 3 or so bricks from completion but I have no idea how to attach the gun barrel and the top half cover to the body. I wondered if anyone could give me some advise or options to try? The white parts in the image are parts I think may work but might also have to be changed to accommodate a different approach. I can share the studio file if anyone would like it. The weapon is featured here with loads of useful images but does not show any of the internals. It did however give me the opportunity to look at exterior parts placement and line them up correctly: LEGOロボ/サメ専用エクソスーツ : レゴ道 (livedoor.jp) This is for my personal pleasure and I do not share instructions or parts lists unless the original designer has given permission. 6. Hi, My name is Jonathan, I am a 49 yo AFOL. Big fan of Modular buildings and MOC Mechs. My favourite builders are Chubbybots and MOKO. I have been a member since 2017 but haven't really contributed so I'm here to change that!
  7. Can't Wait! I've been checking rebrickable daily for months lol. The post office sent me on a path to improve some of the offical lego Modulars to bring them up to your standard of detail.
  8. Hi, I was wondering if you were still intending to release instructions for this great build? I have built the post office and it looks fantastic!!
